Lost Hands is not your traditional murder mystery. Interlaced are several stories which appear at first to be unrelated. Central to the plot is surgeon John McEuen embarking on married life for the firtst-time whose honeymoon goes horribly wrong when he ends up in prison, accused of murder. A Lithuanian girl who dreams of becoming an artist and a young woman having to address the distressing reality of her past - these apparently unconnected stories converge, exposing their link. An enthralling read with an unexpected ending.
