This final book left too many questions without any answers. It did not provide what I was personally hoping for, a finalization of an ending of 34 prior books. No resolution to the outcome of Jimmy, The Great War, a cure for the plague, Dean's outcome, etc.. I expected the final book to wrap up the unanswered questions/crisis. I loved the series, but was left with disappointment. I do really wish that the author had a better proofreader, as there were too many issues with words missing in sentences, misspelled words, past/present tenses, etc.. However, despite all that, I love the author's books, and grew to love all the characters in the book, especially the Slagel clan. Druga has the ability to create the most believable, likeable and hateable characters.

This is one of my absolute favorite series!
I’ve waited what feels like a lifetime for this book in the series to come out. The story is great, but the typos were everywhere! Still, I anxiously await the next book.
