This poetry book beautifully explores the pain of heartbreak, the non-linear nature of healing, and the love Jesus has for us that’s beyond our understanding. The poems are quick and easy to read, yet deeply meaningful. I appreciated that some pages touched on other themes too, which helped me feel more connected to the author through at least variety of her thoughtful well-written words. Although there were pages I couldn’t relate to as strongly, they offered fresh perspectives outside of my personal experience. I would especially recommend this book to Christian girls going through a difficult season or heartbreak, as that seems to be the intended audience. That said, even as a male reader, I found powerful lines that stayed with me. Each page offers comfort and reminds the reader they are not alone, meeting you exactly where you are while creating a beautiful space to poetically heal.
