The photographs are bright, vivid, and amazing. There are not only photos of trees but also of the critters that live in them, on them, and around them. The book shows how many creatures depend on oak trees for food and shelter. It’s a pleasant change from other books that I read this week about oak trees.

Very little on oak trees. A lot on the flora and fauna that rely upon or are associated with oak trees and trees in general.
