In this book, learn why intentional biblical worldview discipleship is so important and the critical role education plays in worldview development. Discover key principles from the Bible and practical steps to help you save your family from destruction. Reading this book with an open heart and mind will challenge and encourage you to understand that with God’s help and intentional godly parenting, your children can become exactly who God designed them to be. Ensure your children and grandchildren carry forward a heritage of faith. As Christian parents, we dream about the day our children will become mature, godly adults, and we envision them raising our grandchildren to know, love, and serve Christ. This long-lasting heritage of faith is what we hope and pray for, and it is absolutely possible. However, because of Satan’s aggressive plans to capture the hearts and minds of our children and the lack of intentional discipleship in many Christian homes, far too many parents live with regret and heartbreak over the loss of faith in their children. Over the last fifty years, evangelical parents have watched with deep sadness as millions of church-raised children have abandoned Christianity, but this heartbreaking tragedy doesn’t have to be your reality.
I had the privilege of hearing him speak about this at my church, which is what first led me to pick up Saving Our Children in a World Gone Crazy.
I thought it was excellent and incredibly timely. It’s rooted in Scripture and focuses on equipping parents to disciple their children intentionally rather than reacting in fear to culture. The emphasis on grounding kids in biblical truth, identity in Christ, and consistent spiritual leadership in the home was both convicting and encouraging.
Even though I’m not a parent, I found it very applicable. I work with kids and have nephews and a niece, and it reminded me that every adult in a child’s life plays a role in pointing them toward truth. I genuinely believe every Christian parent should listen to or read this.
While he brought up some valid points on raising our children in a godly manner, I disagree with the recurring theme of this book, that we can save our children. Jesus is the only Savior, I can’t save my children’s souls no matter how much I’d love to.
4.5– Really appreciated his boldness in speaking bluntly on topics that are too easily tiptoed around. This truly is a matter of life and death, a spiritual battle for our children’s hearts! Felt fired up after this one 🔥 My main critic is that it felt a little disjointed or repetitive at times.
