Rough beginning but improves further in
I don’t know what happened, but the author wrote the MC, Rylan, as a total spoiled brat in the beginning, but thankfully brought back the Rylan we loved from Book 1 before too long. Hang in there if you were put off by Rylan’s behavior at the start of the book. It does get better.
Of course, our MC is way over powered, but it works for me. On to Book 3.

Oh no, I need the next book!
I was drawn into this series by a free first book. Now, I need the third one! The story is captivating even with the gaming jargon used throughout. The story is what grabs you and keeps you turning the page or swiping left on your kindle. Great story.

Oh dang! I'm hooked! Don't do this to me, I can't handle it!
Sorry. Things just got interesting. No longer the BOSS killer? Maybe, maybe not. I Have to get Vol 3 Now! You should start the series if you haven't done so yet.

I really liked this book and really like this series.
There are some continuity issues, but they are few and far between.
Highly recommended.
