This is such a fabulous book to read to children to help them accept themselves as they are. I am Clinical Psychologist and have this in my waiting room for adults and children alike to read. Fantastic story and beautiful illustrations.

A bright adventure that celebrates Luka’s journey of self discovery! A great book to help kids embrace their own (and others’) unique traits. Our 5yo loved the story, and our 2yo loved the bright, colourful characters.
We really struggled with this one. Love LOVED the colours so much, but the text - not so much. Daddy said the rhymes feel forced and don’t flow with the amount of syllables included and there were just too many words. And Mummy found the scenes to have an overwhelming amount of elements on each page that didn’t overly convey the story, and there was so many characters introduced for seemingly no reason. The story felt very heavy for a kid as well, like usually kids books have insinuation and tactfully introduce themes and values but this one was just super in your face telling us what to believe and it felt a bit too woke for us.
An amazing children’s book about finding friends who love/support you and being your authentic self. My young daughter(and our family) absolutely loved the first book about kindness and this one was just as good! We’d heard some reviews that due to the title and it being colourful(this author loves colour and her last name is Ranbow) that it could be seen to introduce LGBT themes to young children, but the pride is actually about a lions pride and being proud of who you are so not even sure those people read this book at all. It’s actually exactly what we should be teaching our children. We can’t wait for the next one in the series.
My son and I were very excited to get our hands on pride oasis as we loved the first book in the series.
We both loved the message behind the story (being your unique self is the best! Loving yourself for who you are is so important!) and loved the new characters. My son also enjoyed that he can look for “mushy” (as he calls sprout!) hidden amongst the story.
I am going to buy 5 additional copies to give as Christmas gifts this year
We absolutely cannot wait for the next book, my son is already looking at the kutopia map and guessing what area is next.
My son and I love Kutopia. Kasey has created a wonderful way to express the true values our children should understand and embody. Pride Oasis explains self-acceptance and how to let your unique and true self shine. We love the vibrant and beautiful illustrations. An added bonus is trying to find Sprout on every page!
This is the second book in the series and Kasey did not disappoint! Such a gorgeous message about accepting one's self and being who you are- my 2nd graders just adore this whole world and can not wait for the next instalment! Honestly on par with the first if not better!!
Such a wonderful book, a fabulous story full of encouragement for children to embrace their true selves with pride, kindness & love. I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us.
