Anne loves her sister, even if said sister is a manipulative brat. To avoid as much drama as possible, Anne usually just lets her have her way. She’s used to it, after all. It’s never been that big of a deal, until Gramma’s jewelry box, something precious to Anne, gets thrown into a tug-of-war between the sisters. Anne will do just about anything to hold onto it. Which is how she finds herself on a blind date. At the mall. Eating so-so Chinese in the food court. Oh, and those dark clouds hanging around? Cue the fierce storm that cuts the power and traps her inside a pottery shop.
Fun times.
The only thing saving her from having the worst day ever is the handsome, charming man trapped with her. Is he for real? Could he possibly be interested in her?
Seems too good to be true. With Anne’s luck, he probably is.
This is sweet short story romance, no swearing, kisses only. HEA guaranteed.

Oh. My. Goodness. Hands down one of the best clean romance short stories ever! Anne goes on a blind date and ends up meeting a man. The rest is both shocking and lovely. This author captivates me through her choice of words and humor. This story reaffirms why I love short romances. Well done!
Finding you is a sweet romance that was born from a very unexpected day at the mall, trapped by a storm.
The author's blurb had the perfect amount of info that it would not spoil the rest of the story. Still, I want to add that even though it is a short story, you can find everything from family dilemmas, deep friendships, blind date struggles, misunderstandings and good way to fixing them (Aka. Talking), finding self-worth and strength to face the unexpected, and of course, a cute clean romance.
I need to add that one of the things I enjoy the most was Anne’s constant rambling. I couldn’t stop laughing about it and feeling related to the back and forward of thoughts she had. I don’t know if it was intended by the author to create the FMC with those kinds of characteristics, but ADHD and anxiety can do that to a person’s mind. Honestly, I did have a lot of fun reading it.
It’s a super short story for a lunch break, while waiting for a doctor's appointment, or maybe just to get out of that reading slump without the need to spend so many hours on it.
This was a heart touching, beautiful love story and about a volatile family relationship that turns to real love. No sex, violence or cursing, the kind of love story we all enjoy reading. This romance was a love at first site type of story, that doesn't happen in our world too often. A very enjoyable book, well written and from the heart!
This is the perfect book I’ve ever read! Okay, I may be biased, but what can I say, I love romance, and this one is perfect. It’s one of those rare, once-in-a-blue-moon stories. Hmmm… is Whit available in real life? I’d like to think so; rare, but characters like Whit do exist. As I said, it’s one kind of romance: short, sweet, and perfect with perfect main characters. Loved it. 100% recommended!
Finding You by Kacie Tyler is a short, sweet romance with a happily ever after (HEA).
The romance was charming and the initial blind date painful. I imagine many of us have had a "dumpster fire" first/blind date in our lives. The relationship between Anne and Whit was endearing, with faint fairytale elements
Anne's conflict with her sister over a jewelry box also struck a deep chord with me because I understand how an item with no monetary value can become important as a cherished memento.
As a minor point, I did have a question about how the mall's rooftop garden didn't seem damaged when so much of the mall was impacted by the storm. The storm was such a huge part of the story, I anticipated something being said about repairs or the garden somehow escaping.
I recommend Finding You for romance readers who love utterly sweet tales with HEAs.
I really like this one! I wish it was longer. It's a whirlwind romance that quite frankly in real life would be concerning. But hey it's fiction! Tropes: Love at for sight/forced proximity. Clean, no cussing, kisses only and an HEA
“Finding You” is a modern-day yarn about a young woman’s quarrel with her younger sister over ownership of their deceased grandmother’s jewelry box, a disastrous blind date, and the young woman’s chance meeting with Prince Charming when both are trapped overnight in a pottery store during a severe thunderstorm. The book’s heroine reminds one of actress Molly Ringwald, both physically, intellectually, and emotionally, just as the book’s storyline is reminiscent of the young love genre of movies Ms. Ringwald once represented on the silver screen. This quick read is well-written, witty, and a different take on an old theme. It is sincere, to-the-point, and most of all, hopeful.
