Dancing Toward Forever: A Story of Love, Faith, and Finding Home

Rate this book
💃 What if Karen Kingsbury and Abby Jimenez wrote a book together?
It would probably look a lot like this.

Dancing Toward Forever is the kind of story that makes you laugh through tears and believe in joy again—even if life hasn’t gone according to plan.

When a broken ballerina and a worship leader with a secret past cross paths in New York City, their story becomes one of grief, grace, second chances, and the kind of love that doesn’t fix you… but chooses to stay.

Readers are calling
🩰 “Laugh-out-loud funny and soul-deep emotional.”
🩰 “A book baby between Karen Kingsbury and Abby Jimenez.”
🩰 “The characters feel like people I actually know.”
🩰 “I highlighted half the book.”

📱I really enjoyed this book. I’ll give it 5 stars, despite the excessive (7) “Hallmark” references.
Heart-warming and encouraging story while also addressing trauma/loss/grief. Strong faith theme.

I love Dawn. She made me laugh out loud a few times. Lots of amusing and witty banter.

I found this book via IG ads. I feel like it would be more fitting if the cover depicted winter since the 1st half of the book took place in the winter. But hey, I unexpectedly celebrated Christmas in July! 🎄🎁

Beautiful story full of faith and growing a relationship with Jesus. As a mom of a dancer, I loved that the FMC is a ballerina. I enjoyed the Christmas/Nutcracker portion of the book, the details of the life of a professional dancer and all the things in between. I will definitely be purchasing this for my teen daughter.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. However, the audio is virtual voice and can be a bit distracting. Great plot and characters. I will definitely recommend to others.

Challenge Prompt: EOW’s read ANYTIME option, “a comfort read”

Book #4 of 2026: This is my second book by this author. Another strong offering. The MMC’s devotion and actions are so touching. So many moments are hilarious but much depth is throughout the story as well. I want these characters as real-life friends, especially Dawn, the sister of the FMC.
