This is a very enjoyable set with very good performances from our leads. Of the 3 stories, I liked the third one best. The first story "The Reckoning" is too much of a "bottle episode" / best of "we distrust Turlough". For me, it just does not bring enough new and original ideas. The second story, "A Crucible of Queens" is a fun historical run-around. Turlough and Sixie/ Peri are separated and join opposing forces... fun enough, I learned a few more things about the historic facts of the 100 year war, worth it for that alone. However, we had similar stories by the dozen, just in different settings, so the plot is not really original. My favorite was "The Curse of the Duergar", a very nice Viking story with a great idea, haunting setting, lots of drama and tragedy, good use of the characters, plus an amazing performance by Colin, who has to go an extra mile. I absolutely loved it! I can recommend this set. It does not re-invent the wheel, but is very enjoyable and the third story is great.
