At the end of Yours for the Holiday, Jerrica is at a crossroads. Her father wanted her to return home, and her heart wanted to stay with whom she had fallen for.
Krue Francis.
Choosing Krue may mean cutting ties with everything she's ever known...and risking everything for a love that might destroy them both.
Karsyn, has her own forbidden love to protect. Falling for him was never in her plans, especially when it was someone close to the family. Hiding a love so real is tearing her apart, and secrets don't stay buried in a family like hers.
Then there's Kyro—the wild one, the hothead, yet the protector. When his eyes land on a beauty, a woman with a heavy past, it changes everything. Can Kyro love to learn without destruction, or will his only way he knows how to love, push her away?
Yours is an emotionally charged urban romance where love is powerful, choices are life-altering, and disloyalty could cost friendships. In a world where family is everything, sometimes the heart has to break all the rules.
K. Nicole I loved this book so much. That Kyro was a joy to read about. He had me cracking up. He met his match. I like that Nicole wrote about the trauma surrounding a particular character. It made the story for even more real. Krue and Jerrica had me scared for a moment but it was good to see their love blossom. Nicole writes some of my favorite unhinged men. 🥰
Now one of my favorite love storylines was Karsyn and her boo. The way they loved on each other. Spoke life into one another was EVERYTHING! Other than that i enjoyed how the mothers from both sides found a way to more forward and grow their life. Love the black owned businesses and wealth in this story. Now just put this on a tv screen for me to watch at home. Please.
I was so rooting for Krue and Jerrica to the point that I was angry at her myself when she snuck off and left him in the middle of the night for her so called dad who gave her away as a payment for his gambling debt. The heart wants who the heart wants and I’m glad that their hearts and a baby led them back together. I liked Mosiah and Baby together but I didn’t like how they hid their relationship for two whole years. I was glad that Kyro and Krue didn’t unalive Mosiah and that Mosiah and Krue handled the situation like real men instead of boys with guns. It takes a strong woman to be with Kyro and Khaleea matched his twin flame. Khaleea saw first hand the Kyro that the streets feared but love kept them together with their own baby on the way. I enjoyed this crazy family.
I understand that David was the cause of the entire situation, but his family treated him as if he were never a family man. They could have shown him a little more sympathy. No one deserves what was done to him.
I would have loved to hear more about Karsyn and her bookstore. Most of her chapters focused primarily on her relationship and how much she loved her partner. It felt like she was obsessed with him, so I ended up skimming her chapters.
The book was good overall, but the grammatical errors were a bit distracting. I had to read several sentences twice to fully understand what was happening.
4.25🌟 Loved the follow up to this series. The Francis siblings are going to show up for each other and their significant others. Jerrica finally got some sense and went to get her man. And Krue was that man. I’m not mad at Esha for not crying over that man. They had good times but his so called love for his family couldn’t over power his addiction. I wish we got to learn more about Kyro and Khaleea though. They spent so much time apart and then during the epilogue it was HEA.
3.5⭐️: Loved how this book has the point of views of all 3 siblings. However, felt like we got way more Kyro and Karsyn vs. Krue. Ending felt very rushed to me too.
The book was good. I’m mad that Kyro story was so short. I now want to see who Jerra ends up with since it wasn’t who I thought it would be. Which is really sad. Hopefully she gets a book.
I loved getting to know Krue & Kyro a little more. What irritated me was Karsyn. I get it girl, you love your man but i felt like that’s ALL her story was about. And yes, her brothers were overprotective and they needed to let her grow but i didn’t like how that became the focus after her and Mosiahs secret was discovered. krue felt betrayed and i felt like she wasn’t trying to take accountability for the fact that she lied to everyone for 2 years. Everyone kept telling him to let her be grown… okay but let’s acknowledge that he has a right to feel how he feels. Oh and Jerrica getting over her daddy dying to the point where you laughing with his killer a week later was a lil weird. I get ol boy wasn’t shit towards the end but she said the man was a good daddy up until that point. 6 months of BS erased all of that?

This was a decent series all around. My issue was that it was so many errors. The author constantly mixed up her characters. The timeline was very off and honestly made no sense. When the book started it was a continuation from the previous book. Then for a couple of chapters later the FMC was pregnant but how did she become pregnant so quickly only a week or two had passed. And then how the author mixed up details with the alternating POVs in one chapter Kure was banging on the hotel door but then from his POV he got to the hotel and got a key mad and when he got into the room Jerrica was sleeping. It was kind of confusing and all over the place. So like I said decent story but too many errors so I had to deduct a star.
Everyone found real love and were free to love openly! I knew Krue wouldn’t do too much damage to Mosiah! I’m glad Baby was finally able to be loved out loud. I was sad Jerra didn’t get her man, Kyro, but it’s probably for the best lol. Now him and Khaleea got a little one on the way. I loved their love. Them brothers just alike lol, taking the women they wanted! Sad that Carella karma got him the way it did, but I’m glad everyone could still be together and be a family. Loved this book!
Krue made that girl sweat!! Just like his mama said! But the way he loved and catered to her was so cute! Jerricas dad constantly pissed me off and lowkey her mama did too. Jerra was funny af! Especially her being “mad” at Kyro for having a woman. Lol Karsyn and Mosiah….i luhhh them! Fought for their love! And Kyrooooo!!! Chile, he met his match!! Love them too!! That ending was amazing!
Addiction ruins families doesn’t matter which (gambling, alcohol, drugs or shopping) when the addict isn’t aware of the damage being done until he/she loses everything.
K provided a view on family not always being blood related but the love of your significant other can guide you through the pain.
I loved this for Krue and Jerrica. Kyro was a mess the entire book lol but he grew up a bit. I usually read books where all siblings have their own book. It was definitely different reading a book that incorporated all siblings love life it one book and somehow it fit. I really enjoyed this book just wish it was a bit longer.
Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook series. I cant say that I like either book better than the other as I love how book 1 flowed right into book 2. I love how with everything that tried to keep them from love, all 3 of the siblings found true love 💖. Thank you K. Nicole for sharing your gift. ⭐⭐⭐ Definite recommendation.
Kyro really had me laughing in every scene of his! I am happy for Karsyn now that her secret is out, Jerrica and Krue really fell in love quick and it only strengthened in time!
I hated to see it end. Krue was crazy, but Kyro was crazier 🤣 I hope that this is not the end for them, but if it is, I enjoyed their family a lot, but Kyro didn't have to do David like that 🥴
Okay, I need more of Kyro crazy butt. He’s hilarious. Definitely a good storyline with the Francis siblings. However, it was irritating that the author kept mixing up Krue’s and Kyro’s names. I’m surprised the editor didn’t catch that as often as it occurred.
A cute story with JOKES. I loved seeing all the siblings in love too. I knew it was over for Jerrica after she started her holiday traditions and Krue wanted to wear matching pjs.
This sibling trio takes you on quite the ride. You are going to laugh until your stomach hurts. But you’re also going to say “I know you lying” a time or two. But as always K. Nicole delivers. Bravo. This series is good and K. eats every time she drops.
I really enjoyed the second part. Krue had to change his ways for Jerrica and their baby. I was upset that, well don't want to spill the beans. Good series.
