He broke her heart before he knew her name. Now she has to interview him about it on camera.
Vanessa Quinn left figure skating—and everything that came with it—buried in the past. Reinvented as a sharp-tongued sports reporter, she’s built a new life behind the scenes… until the Midland Vipers launch their “First Crush Throwback” campaign and assign her to cover Ty Monroe, the team’s most notorious enforcer.
There’s just one she was his first crush. And he has no idea.
Ty’s trying to rehab his image and stay out of trouble. Getting paired with a no-nonsense reporter for a feel-good PR series wasn’t the plan—but there’s something about Vanessa that stirs a memory he can’t quite place. And the more time they spend together—on camera, on the ice, and off script—the more the past refuses to stay buried.
Now Vanessa’s biggest secret is skating dangerously close to the surface. And if the truth comes out, it could ruin both their reputations—and the fragile connection that’s starting to feel like more than just pretend.
Pucked Around and Found Out is a standalone hockey romcom packed with enemies-to-lovers tension, secret pasts, media chaos, moonlit skating, and slow-burn chemistry that melts the ice.
Honestly lowkey terrible book but it did its job of entertaining me while I was cleaning my apartment. I’m like not mad about it being bad because I don’t think I was expecting it to be that good. There was 0 chemistry between the characters and 0 plot development! Slay!
