Moonlit Promises

Rate this book
They planned to run away together. She left without a word. Now, twelve years later, fate and a wedding have brought them face to face again.

Molly Evans never looked back… until she had to. A sought-after wedding photographer, she returns to Juniper Falls for one last job before starting fresh somewhere new. She tells herself it’s just another assignment. But she didn’t count on the groom being Tanner Hayes’s best friend or on Tanner himself still making her heart race like it’s prom night all over again.

Tanner has spent years trying to forget the girl who disappeared the night they were supposed to elope. He poured everything into building his carpentry business and avoiding old memories. But when Molly walks back into his life, camera in hand and secrets in her eyes, it’s clear nothing is as finished as he thought.

Forced to work side by side on a wedding that feels way too personal, Molly and Tanner find old sparks turning into something much harder to ignore. But with a past full of unanswered questions and a future clouded by what-ifs, can they finally have the honest conversation that was twelve years overdue?

Moonlit Promises is a clean and heart-tugging second chance romance packed with emotional longing, small-town charm, and the kind of love that was written in the stars if only they’re brave enough to follow it.

I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Molly Evans left Juniper Falls for life in the city and returns to photograph her friend’s wedding where she sees her former boyfriend, Tanner Hayes who is building the wedding arch. As they work together, they begin to trust each other again. Great second chance story about communication, trust, and compromise.

Tanner and Molly

Tanner and Molly have a past and due to a misunderstanding they haven't seen each other in a while. Now she's back in town to take pictures of a wedding and he's also helping with the planning. They'll have to figure out what happened between them and see if they can make it work this time.

Hazel always has the best advice. I enjoy reading about her in each of these stories.

Sweet

I enjoyed the beautiful descriptions of nature and lighting as we saw life through the lens of a photographer. Second chances to share love are always touching.
