Every rope has a story. Elijah Creed writes the final chapter. The Hangman rides into Rociada to do another job.
And no name in Elijah Creed's ledger has ever escaped his rope.
But the man riding by Creed's side has come to Rociada to do a job of his own.
It's a gallop through the New Mexico Territory as the hangman turns posse in pursuit of the Hodge brothers, and nobody's safe until justice is carried out.
If you love gritty westerns where you can feel the trail dust in your teeth and smell the gun powder burning your nose, then grab your Colt and your fastest saddle horse and join the posse. Check that you've got six beans in the can.
And just be sure you stay on this side of the law so that you don't find your name ...
This is a sad story about a troubled kid that never grew out of it and put his older brother through hell trying to keep his younger brother out of hell. Great plot.
This story is one of the most interesting Westerns I've read, and that is saying something. Unique style and pace, thought provoking content and surprise ending made the 5 star an easy choice.
