Drinking game idea:
Read this book and every time one of the following sentences or situations happens... You take a shot.

-The MC "whines" (holy fuck he be whining)
-The MC "bites back a moan/whine"
-They talk about wanting to put a pup inside our MC
-Use of our MC's nickname "Strawberry" 🍓

By the end of the book, not only would you be very intoxicated... you will in fact, also be dead. 💀💀💀

I KNOW ITS OMEGAVERSE AND WE NEED A WHINY NEEDY OMEGA BUT FUCK MAN, the writing here was lazy at times.
Hearing this book was 1 vs 6.... sexually.... I was expecting DP, gang banging, spit roasting and Eiffel towers?
I got whines, whining, whine equivalents and holding back whines...

GURL YOU HAVE SIX BOYFRIENDS NOW, YOU CAN GET CREATIVE WITH IT.

Random thought:
Am I the only one who feels slick would be really inconvenient?
Like oh he's hot- ..... and I've wet myself, god dammit.
This universe had very... drippy slick... or maybe that was just our MC?
I'm not sure.
Very wet though...
Very texturey...
Very drippy...

ANYWAY,
This book was pretty awful subjectively (I hope that's the right use of word there), but I had a great time reading it anyway and discussing theories and like... enjoying small moments with our main MC and learning all the things about his new boyfriends (ALL OF WHICH HAVE VERY STUPID NAMES AND I STRUGGLE TO REMEMBER ANY OF THEM, BLESS YOU KATI FOR PINNING THEM TO OUR CHAT OR I NEVER WOULD HAVE REMEMEBERED heheheh)

I think the OTT nature of this book, the absurdity of having 6 boyfriends and trying to fuck all of them, the omega universe/lore that got no real explanation, and the plot outside of the pack/smut was entertaining at it's core, and great escapism because... that's what books are great for?? ahhaha.

I also feel this book is weirdly setting it up to become like....... m/mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Is that a genre?
Just one dude getting railed by anyone who he finds hot & will get him all slicky and ready to go?
hahahahah it's so insane, I ain't even mad.
It's just gonna be sloppy as hell up in ere.

Final thought:
I think the ass eating was nailed in this book.
👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I don't know what stars this was. 3 for most things, 4 for entertainment and vibes and THAT ENDING. Definitely need book 2 rn.
3.5ish.

It’s been a while since I was this sad (or sad at all, really) that a book ended. I want to spend dayyyys more in this story and explore further. It was riveting af!!

The setup for this book is A LOT! Only a few chapters the dystopian part of this story reads like the Handmaid’s Tale, including abuse and trafficking. And the romance part is clearly leading us into an MM+ why choose with one omega (Ridley) and, wait for it… SIX ALPHAS.

Let me visualize that for you: 🔵 -- ⚫️⚫️⚫️⚫️⚫️⚫️

There was a hell of a lot going on in this book, and I don’t mean only the amount of intriguing characters but especially in the second half the plot basically exploded.

“I already told you, Alpha. I’m not here to rock the boat. I’m here to fucking sink it.”

What I couldn’t quite wrap my head around was why in the end there were even more characters with simmering attractions between them and certain pack members, especially Ridley. (Not that I minded, *lol) So, either Onley intends to extend this current six to one ratio to more on either side or this series is going to be something else entirely.

Either way I’m here for it, gobbling up whatever comes next. That’s for damn sure!!

“You really don’t know who we are, do you, princess?”

He’d never seen alphas bow to other alphas before. Not without a crown and title involved. King of the Underworld.

Titus didn’t strike Ridley as a benevolent king. What would happen when they realized their new king had a queen? An omega queen?

Was it weird that the entire underworld referred to Ridley as “the queen”? Yes, it sure was an adjustment. But I loved the very last part, connecting it all to a game of chess.

The Rook. One of the most powerful pieces on the chessboard. But there was one piece more powerful. One piece with the combined power of the rook and the bishop. The Queen.

I’m still left with a whole BAG OF QUESTIONS after this first “season”. And yes, like Onley promised, this one ends on a cliffhanger. All in all we don’t learn a whole lot about this dystopian world as a whole or the many main characters that make this series. And while I usually hate being kept this deep in the dark I learned just enough to keep me intrigued instead of giving up from annoyance. Big win if you ask me.

I've never been a big fan of Omegaverse or dystopian, but Nolah has done it again and has sucked me in. The story kept me intrigued and gripped me tight. I never wanted to put it down, and I really didn't want it to end. The world she's built is dark, and honestly hits a little too close to home at times, but that's what makes it so good. You have a group willing to be the villains to help the powerless, and one of the powerless willing to do whatever is necessary to fight back, providing a light in a world that would otherwise be without hope.

Each character is amazing and well developed, with each having a distinctly different relationship with their omega, which is sometimes hard to do with such a large cast of main characters. And the spice between them all?? Top tier and so hot.

I highly recommend this one. Even if you're like me and not really into Omegaverse and/or dystopian stories, give it a shot. I don't think you'll regret it.

I have read A LOT of Onley James’ books and I was excited to read her new omegaverse books, however there were too many things with this one that didn’t work for me. Spoilers ahead:

- Ridley’s heat: Ridley (the main omega in this story) started off by saying how much he despised alphas, how none of them could be trusted. He came to the pack of alphas from having been prodded against his will in the omega center, kidnapped and beaten. You would think he’d be somewhat traumatized and skittish. But no, he jumps into bed right away (like on the first night) with the alphas because of his heat. So to me, the heat felt like a cheap way of making them all have sex and bond with Ridley.

- Orochi: Not only did Ridley sleep with the alphas right away for his heat, but then he’s fawning over Orochi (while standing next to his alphas btw) who as far as we know is ruthless and abusive towards omegas. It honestly felt like reading a book where the main character is written like their brain just stops working as soon as the man does anything remotely sexual or just looks hot. It was absolutely frustrating.

- Why choose: When I read a why choose / reverse harem book, I want to feel like all the harem guys are on equal footing and here you had Ridley comparing them all the time. He spent the majority of his heat with Diesel, who has treated him the best from the start) to then think that he could see Diesel has a best friend but there’s just something so special about Titus 🙄.

- The slapping: That was the worst part of the book for me. I get that these alphas are good but bad guys, but I need something to make me want to root for them. So Titus slapping Ridley in the face when he was expressing his anger just ruined the whole thing. That is NEVER okay and justifying it afterward by saying it didn’t really hurt doesn’t make it better.

Anyway, I won’t be reading the second book. There were so many plot holes and could use another round of editing to be honest.

The Night Movers: Season One is a dark & gripping read that completely pulled me in. This story is about Ridley, a clairvoyant omega desperately searching for his kidnapped twin sister.Ridley gets himself captured and is handed over to Titus and his notorious pack of alphas. But despite their dangerous reputation, this pack secretly dedicates themselves to protecting omegas.
Ridley convinces the pack to claim him as their own.
The story is filled with violence, passion, and high stakes.Onley has given us a world so incredible that you feel fully immersed in this dark, dangerous universe right from the beginning. Each alpha has a unique personality and dynamic with Ridley, and the author did a fantastic job of giving the reader a good feel for each character.
The chemistry, spice, and tension are off the charts. The book ends on a cliffhanger, and I am totally invested in the next book.

Holy shit. Holy shit!! The Night Movers was so good! It’s kind of like The Handmaid’s Tale and a darker version of Fast & Furious had a baby and this queer, dystopian, omegaverse, dark polyamorous romance was the result. I’ll admit, I went into this book with some reservations. But ended up loving this way more than I thought I would! The dystopian aspects of the story fit so well with the omegaverse ones that it was hard to put the book down at times.

Ridley and his pack of alpha’s (and later on, Rain) were all so different and yet they worked so well together. I loved their clash of personalities and power dynamics. I also loved that Ridley was so complex. At different points he was so confident and sassy and willing to put people in their place regardless of their secondary genders/social status, and at others he was spiraling with anxiety and frustration and anger at his situation. I also loved that his alpha’s were all down bad (reluctantly or otherwise) from the moment they brought Ridley into the pack. I can’t wait to see how they decide to burn the world down in the next season. The Night Movers season one is getting five stars!

This was an exciting journey to experience! I've read my fair share of dystopian novels, omegaverse novels, LGBTQ/MM+ novels, but this combined all three in spicy and saucy unique ways that had me craving more every time I put this read down.

What I particularly enjoyed - the "reverse harem" aspect of the singular Queen ruling a pack of Kings, but also with engaging character development for all parts of this ahem, royal family. I could picture each with what they looked like, maybe some of the baggage they brought with them, but more the world building was dark and fantastical. Morally grey heroes for the win!

If it's also not apparent, this book has substantial heat to it. If you want some allure and extra seasoning in your life, and like the cross genres of dystopia meets dark MM+ omegaverse harem/polyamory fiction, you'll love this read.

I cannot wait for the next season! Yes I'll have another!

This series is going to be… SOOO GOOOOD!!!
What in the actual plot twist of this story??

Ridley is so reckless but also so badass at the same time.
My favorite one? I think is Diesel… but also Steele.

I’d like to know if my tech guy and the pet are starting a thing which would be very interesting cuz the queen is in the middle.

I’ve been following this story since it was on Kindle Vella (R.I.P.), and I’ve loved every trashy (affectionate) minute of it. Futuristic dystopian why choose Omegaverse with all of the smut and the semblance of a plot? Yes, please! It’s like a soap opera and I can’t wait for the next season.

This was a miss for me, and I think the issue was that it was a serial made into book format so when read as a book the inconsistencies easily dragged me away from the story. The plot is a good one, dystopian tyrannical government that subjugates their omega citizens and Ridley trying to find his sister who is lost in the omega trafficking chaos. But…it just wasn’t enough for me.

The Night Movers: Season One

it has been a while since i'm willing to take time to write a proper review (cause english is not my first language and college've already fucked my brain up enough) but this book hit just right, i must say something to show how obsessed i am with it. 𐔌՞. .՞𐦯

might contain spoiler

⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘

the story follows Ridley - an omega on his way to find his lost twin sister and to turn the cruel sociaty which treat omegas no better than slaves up side down, kind of having mission impossible vibe. he found his pack, the alphas who willing to protect him and love him more than they think they can with their cold heart (okay not now but eventually they all will ᢉ𐭩 trust) as their pack's omega. this pack includes Titus (the leader), Diesel, Sugar, Steele, Ryker and Jensen.

Ridley's plan was to let himself be kidnapped just like his sister and hope for the best, that the kidnappers would take him to the same place his sister were staying. that was all he could do as he had no information, no clue, even himself was also a victim being tortured by this dystopian world. it broke my heart to see him being cruelly harrassed by the horrible alpha kipnappers, both the government and the omega traffickers treated omegas like animals, but my pretty baby would bit back, even if they made him bleed in return ꨄ.

the kidnappers sold the omegas to a pack of masked alphas who would then sold them to anyone who pay the largest amount of money, but Ridley and other omegas quickly realized that this pack had no intention to sell them away, instead they erased their informations from the system then sent them to safe places far away. from his ability to see the future, Ridley knew that was his pack and he was their pack omega. now he need to convince 6 alphas go to against their rule, their own faith to keep him. this was where the spice begin.

not gonna lie, the alphas are stubborn as hell, they rescued omega with good intention doesn't mean they are kind men, i think we all like how they all were somewhat mean to Ridley and not turning sweet for him fast, it kinds suits the vibe monsters, most dangerous of the dangerous, king of the undercity, etc. still, Ridley had his own way to burrow deep into their mind, regardless that means spring blooming or utter destruction.

i hope i won't see any review saying Ridley was hot-tempered, unreasonable or lack of manner, since all he had ever wished for is to find his sister and survive while remaining a little of dignity left. no revolution would success by behaving so gently, politely that the dictator take pity on you then grant you equal rights. his own sharpness is also a must need since his alphas are the top criminal of the undercity. Ridley would never be the meek type but he's still a sweetheart, love having his partners attention, love being called pretty baby, eager to be good for them... all while doesn't hesitate to pay back, even if it was the alphas that did him wrong (don't worry they did apologize and changed).

in case you doubt how can the author describe thoroughly 6 alphas and their relationship with Ridley and also their emotional development in 31 chapters, in this book Onley James mainly went deep in the interactions between Ridley and Titus, Diesel, Steel and Sugar, so she wouldn't have to cram in too much information and make every characters seem to be at a superficial level.

Titus- the pack's leader, the king of the underground city, he's the boss but he could leave the throne at any time to join the battle. prepare to meet one of the most crumpy and bossy man you've ever met, a sea urchin of a man. he was bossy and cocky to a point it seems unreasonable especially after accidentally tied Ridley to him forever, very mean whenever he was frustrated, but Ridley did soften him somehow. looking back, it had shown signs from the start, even before the pack accepted the idea of keeping Ridley, Titus hadn't been able to hold himself from caring for him.

When Diesel left, Ridley made a beleaguered little sound and snuggled closer to Titus, trying to crawl inside the alpha's body and stay there. “So cold, Alpha."
Titus gently pushed him away, dragging himself up into a sitting up.
Ridley looked up at him, miserable, tears clinging to his lashes.
Titus sighed, like he couldn't believe this was what his life had come to, then stroked his finger along Ridley's jaw. "You only think you're cold, but you have a fever, Strawberry. Your skin is on fire."

and dear girly, the pack love bullying their pretty baby til they get to see his tears fall down their bedsheet🔥
i adore a spicy story without me falling asleep on sex scenes because of the repetation and boring long acts. the sex in here is perfect, we got everything we need:
dirty talk;
belly bulge;
creampie;
breeding kink;
public-sex kink;
mid-hummiliating kink (slut, whore,...);
sex marathon;
somnophilia;
feminization (princess, cunt,...),etc.
these alphas were brutal if you ask me. i like that. a lot.

but the story wasn't full of smut, onley james usually good at the plot too and this is one of the times she did it well. ridley was willing to risk his life to free the omegas and destroy the alpha-centered system, but when being in front of his alphas he only want to please them, let them do whatever they want to him regardless of his feeling. ridley was feeling guilty about that as he felt like he did wrong to the omegas who were longing and fighting for equal rights. in this context they are all male, but i can definately relate.

“Can I tell you something?” Ridley asked.
“Does it have to do with how good you suddenly smell?” Sugar asked, voice lowering to a silky depth that made Ridley crazy.
“Sort of.”
“Tell me.”
“All the stuff you guys say to me…during sex…the things you do to me…using me how you like, when you like…I like it. I like it a lot. So much it’s embarrassing and feels a little like a betrayal to other omegas.”
“You can’t fight biology, Strawberry. We’re all slaves to our inner beast. We promise not to hold any of it against you if you promise to do the same. You make us all a little crazy.” Ridley bit back a smile and Sugar chuckled. “You love that kind of power, don’t you? You’re going to be such a monster, I can just feel it."

i really like how the author make all the alphas having at least a light cast of meanness on them, so everytime they show affection clearly to Ridley it was eerie and hot at the same time.

also, usually feminization in mm romance is not my type but here it hit just right.
being called princess show how sweet and gentle they can be to him despite wanting to ruin him all the time.
being called Queen, their queen, Titus's queen made him feel mysteriously powerful, wanted and in someway emphasize his unbreakable bond (i mean both biologically and emotionally) with his alphas, eventhough at first it just a show put on on purpose, because the title remind everyone (including the alphas themselves) of Ridley's place-their partner and how he would be treated in his pack-with extreme affection and never a personal slave to look down on.
long story short even if in this first season i don't think anyone had already truly loved (just at the like-stage, i would say), but the author could make the air filled with lovers theme by romantic details like that. ❦

there just one thing that i don't really like, is this groupie love not only include Ridley and his 6 alphas but also another omega named Rain. i have to admit that i knew this from the start, since i had received Onley James newsletter which revealed alpha number 5-Jensen- that already spoiled the whole part when Rain become Ridley's pet and joined the pack. which is also why it took me days to give this story a chance. i like the dynamic of one bottom and n+ tops (or the opposite) with no sharing outside the circle, adding another omega kind of ruin it for me. i decided to read anyway because many review said this story is just 90% smut and i usually don't care much about the smut's plot, but turned out i enjoy the story too much, now i'm nervous how Rain's accession will affect the romantic elements. if i'm lucky enough his intimate scenes will mostly be with Jensen and Ryker, whom hadn't have much with Ridley compared to 4 other alphas. in this book Rain hadn't had any sex scene.

i know it is unlikely but i still praying the author wouldn't add anymore character beside Rain into the pack. maybe this is my punishment for daring to read an uncompleted story for the first time. 𐔌՞. .՞𐦯 waiting is so painful

I had the incredible opportunity to be an ARC reader for this amazing book. It has so many elements to it that make you crave more. If you're a fan of Omegaverse, "why choose" tropes, and sizzling romance, that lovely shade of we gray we all like our Alphas to be & enough Spice to leave you panting and breathless then this is the book for you.
In a world where Alphas rule unquestionably, we meet Ridley. A clairvoyant omega who is on a mission to find his twin sister and the pack of Alphas on their own mission the save Omegas. The depth and individuality of Ridley's relationships with each Alpha are truly a highlight, and the expansive world-building ensures an exciting foundation for future books in this series.

4.25 stars. This was super intriguing to read. I went into it not knowing what to expect but I was very excited. A MM+ why choose omegaverse? Sign me up immediately.

The plot is about Ridley, an omega that finds himself being transported with others where he believes will be his worst nightmare, given it is the fate of omega once they're caught. He refuses to die before finding his sister though. To his surprise, his alpha captors reveal a truth that he thought impossible. This changes the course of his path completely, landing in one that Ridley and the dangerous alphas believed it would never happen, and soon they'll have to lead with the consequences.

The blurb looked interesting and it didn't disappoint. I thought the worldbuilding was really interesting and the book sucked me in right from the start. It was addictive. I really liked how we got a glimpse of what happens to omegas in such horrible time through exposure and storytelling.

Onto the characters, Ridley is an interesting MC, and I like his motivation and resilience. I only wished he didn't constantly change his mind about how he feels towards the alphas because it was a case of hating them and turning needy the next second. I think that got better during the scenes where sex wasn't the focus. Another good thing is that I could differentiate the alphas' personalities from each other. It's something basic but not all why choose/poly books manage to do so. I also liked that most of the love interests are mean or don't warm up to Ridley that quickly, and I really hope they keep some of that or don't get too soft or else it wouldn't fit with the concept imo.

In terms of the dynamic between MC and each of the guys, it was fire. The tension and chemistry was right and well done, the push and pull was exciting, plus I really liked the sex scenes, hot and well written. My only small issue is that I wished they were held back for a bit (or to have less sex and more interactions without that element).

Besides that, I feel torn towards the addition of one character near the end. Part of me loves it, but the other is nervous about how this would affect the pack dynamic overall. It's still hot anyway plus it's a pairing I love that isn't portrayed a lot in omegaverse fiction. However, I was expecting a why choose with one omega and many alphas, so I'm conflicted with that.

I'm hoping to learn more about this universe and the consequences in the next installments. I really like the dark atmosphere and the reveals from the universe that we get to know along Ridley. I can't wait for what's next.

A dystopian omegaverse book—something I didn’t know existed! The premise is half interesting, and half extremely disturbing. In this world, the corrupt government is run by alphas, who treat omegas as slaves and possessions. This was hard to read, and definitely uncomfortable. Ridley is an omega who’s been captured, but isn’t giving up. He’s looking for his sister, Ren. Luckily (?) for Ridley, he’s captured by a group of Alphas called “the night movers”— alphas posing as the evil lords of the underworld, who actually rescue omegas and bring them to safe towns. Ridley becomes their “pack omega”. His clairvoyance is an asset the pack can’t deny, and they definitely can’t resist him.

Rapid fire, in this book you’ll find:
-MMMMMMM+ omegaverse (so many Ms..)
-dystopian & dark world
-very high 🌶️—what you’d expect from an omegaverse book (no mpreg but like.. seems like it’s possible in this universe)
-claiming and bonding
-hidden identities and secret societies

This book is a serial, not an actual novel, so it ends on a cliffhanger, and each chapter is packed full of either spice or other action. This might not be everyone’s style, but I personally don’t mind it. I thought it made a great “never a dull moment” package.

In terms of the story, I’m definitely curious. There’s a lot of spice, but I found myself kind of skimming that and wanting to get to the world-building and hierarchy content. I get this is an ongoing serial, so not much progress is actually made in the plot in this book, but I was definitely wishing for more.

In terms of characters, this is where the book lost me a little. Ridley, the MC, is kind of inconsistent with his morals and what he feels is acceptable or not. There are also like 6-7 love interests introduced, but honestly not enough time for us to really get to know any of them. From the ones we get to know most about (Titus and Disel) they are pretty one-note. Others we just kind of scratch the surface with. Whereas some (Jensen especially) I don’t even know anything about by time the book is over. Juggling that many love interests must be incredibly difficult to write, and I get that. But maybe I’d like.. there were fewer of them.. it might have been better? Again, it’s a little hard to judge since this is just the first season, but I feel like the sheer amount of characters does kind of take away from the book.

Although I found some of the actions of the characters to be annoying in the story, I still found the book interesting, and definitely want to know what happens next!!

This was an Arc Read :)

I’m always a sucker for a clairvoyant main character, and Ridley’s visions added such an eerie, unpredictable layer to an already intense and twisted storyline. His psychic abilities are still this big, looming question mark, and I love that we don’t fully understand them yet. The story drops just enough breadcrumbs to keep you guessing—how it works, what it means, and why these Alphas specifically are so tied to him. It's giving slow-burn mystery in the best way.

Running into this brutal, infamous pack of Alphas while being trafficked? Terrifying. Then finding out they’re not only his mates, but also possibly the only ones who get him? Absolutely unhinged. Obviously, they’re morally grey—posing as the worst of the worst so they can keep rescuing omegas under the radar. It makes you question everyone’s motives, even as you’re rooting for them.

Ridley has this unique, complicated bond with each Alpha, and I love that they’re not all the same. There’s banter, friction, tension, and that electric pull you can feel on the page. It’s not insta-love—it’s this weird, messy unravelling of connections that feel both fated and chaotic. And the smut? Perfection. It’s hot, emotional, and only leaves you more desperate to see how the rest of the pack fits in with him.

The dystopian world is always looming in the background—cold, oppressive, dangerous. It adds this constant edge of tension, like no one is ever really safe, no matter how cosy things might feel inside the pack house.

Each chapter gets more intense, more twisty. Just when you think you’ve figured something out, the story throws another curveball. Ridley’s still laser-focused on finding his missing twin, but the deeper he falls into the pack’s mission and their secrets, the more complicated everything becomes. It keeps you questioning not only who to trust, but what Ridley’s actual role is in all of this.

By the time I hit the final page, I was already reaching for the next book. I need to know what happens next—how their bonds evolve, what Ridley is truly capable of, and what kind of storm they’re about to walk into.

Brave, haunted, clairvoyant Ridley—I adore him. And this whole wild, dangerous world has completely hooked me.

Disclaimer: I don’t like dystopian. It’s a fact, which is pretty much a key genre in all marketing of this book that my brain decided to disregard completely until a moment before I picked it up. I also am a so so fan of omegaverse, but am trying to get into it, so clearly this book was a perfect fit for me (sarcasm, at myself). However, going into reading this book I was getting a bit of a heterosexual craving in my romance which I find works in my favour when reading omegaverse, it gives me what I want out of het romance – hard core queerness.

Basically, the disclaimer is to say I’m rating and going to try and review this one a bit clinical as I don’t think it’s fair (for me to even have asked for an ARC) to review this one any other way.

the world, it was…I want to say interesting. It got the omega where he needed to be to start the romance. It was a reason he was the way he was. It was all I got out of it (it did nothing for me but I new that going in and made sure to keep reminding myself of that because not really fair).

The sex. Hot. Heat induced consent (which isn’t consent, tho it’s not as simple as that, but one of the top reasons a fated mates’ troupe will get shit ratings from me is this), it was more palatable for me, but I also gathered it was going to happen being as this is labelled dark. Overall hot sex scenes. All wet omega and rutty alphas, just the way they are meant to be in omegaverse.

The romance was the part I liked the most. I loved all the characters, I thought they were well throughout, I liked how they played off each other and how they created mini relationships inside the big one (feels like a really thought-out part this bit, but it was the reason for the rating, and I can never remember names). I liked getting to know everyone and watch them get to know their omega.

Overall it was enjoyable, was this the book I should have asked for an ARC of, probably not, and I’m sorry for that, but I will probably read the next ebook when it comes out.

3.5 stars, I rounded up because I think it deserve it and it’s not the books fault my brain didn’t register the element I wouldn’t like.

I enjoyed reading this ARC way too much. It was supposed to be my reward after a project presentation, instead I procrastinated working on said project by reading this book.
I am a reader with a vivid imagination and the writing was perfect when it came to setting the scene and giving visual cues. I could SEE the story so clearly in my head. The masks, the night market, the arena, all the outfits, everything. There was a full blown movie playing in my mind.
Now onto the story. This is a dystopian world where resources are scarce and omegas get treated and traded like breeding cattle and nothing more. Enter Ridley, a freshly presented omega, searching for his sister with the help of his visions. They are what leads him into the hands of the alpha pack led by Titus, the so-called King of the underworld.
What makes you King of the underworld? Absolut and complete violence of course. Violence these six alphas hide behind to mask their true intentions, i.e. saving omegas. So are they the good guys? They do agree that omegas shouldn't be tortured and abused, yes. But seeing them as equals? Never crossed their minds. But don't worry, that's what we have Ridley for. He will make the alphas take a long look in the mirror and reevaluate their motives and goals. They're not completely there yet, but boy do I look forward to a good dismantling of the system. It's going to be glorious.
I loved Ridley, I loved Linus, I LOVED LOVED Rain (please, I want to keep him), but I didn't love the alphas. I do think they mean well, but they don't see the bigger picture and until they do, I will withhold my devotion. And just to be clear, I love that they're written this way. What are stories without character growth after all?
I do wish we had some more time with all the alphas in this book, just to get to know them a bit better. As it stands, I only know Titus and Diesel and am already forgetting about the others. One more reason to look forward to the next book.
One last thing, I'm a sucker for heat s€x and breeding and if you're not, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK. I enjoyed it THOROUGHLY but if you don't, that's fine, pick up another book.

Thank you, Nolah Harker, for providing me with a free advance reader e-copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Omega Ridley lives in a world where his kind are looked down upon and used for their breeding potential. When his twin sister goes missing from a registration facility, he uses his clairvoyant ability to try to find her. Instead, he finds himself caught up with the most nefarious pack of alphas known in the underworld that exists beyond the reach of the more civilised society above. To make things more interesting, his gift has shown him he is destined to be their pack omega.

Well! What an introduction to Omegaverse! Here I was thinking it was a bunch of sexy werewolf stories! Apparently not (or knot!). While there are packs, alphas, betas, omegas, and knotting, no one in this series turns into wolves. This was a dark, dystopian journey into a bleak America where militant alphas have taken over the government, and omegas have become a commodity, forced to breed to save a declining population.

The story was sexy (lots and lots of spice), exciting, and one I will certainly be reading again. I’m a massive fan of Onley James, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that I was quickly caught up in her alter ego’s Omegaverse series. I can’t wait to see how the story continues – what a cliffhanger! The world is fascinating, with hues of "The Handmaid’s Tale" and "Mortal Kombat". Ridley is a many-faceted character, and I’m looking forward to discovering more about the six alphas he’s tied to.

Final thoughts: A gritty polyamorous romance with plenty of snark.

Who would enjoy this: Fans of Omegaverse, dark romances, and those people who are not too squeamish (with both sex and violence).

That was a sick read 😭 in term of the world they live in… i have to say this is a dark dark omegaverse that didn’t have any humanity left version 😭

As much as i do applaud with what the Pack did to try help the Omega as hard as they can but like what Rydley said it was not enough, they literally have to change the whole world the main system for the omega to finally have a possibility of having a normal life and that itself seems impossible with how things are right now.

I literally don’t know what will happen next which make it an extremely enjoyable read since Nolah Harker/Onley James writing are always unpredictable. But i do have to add I don’t know what actually the relationship will be like? I mean will it be a harem? Adding new people in their pack kind of thing? Because i legit need to know before diving further in the possible series 😭😭😭😭 with the sudden addition of Rain in their pack I don’t know how to feel especially knowing he have the hots for Jensen and also kinda very dependent towards Rydley. I need to know if that is the dynamic kinda theme of the book because I don’t want to be rooting for things that aren’t even permanent…. And i am being so uncomfortable at first since I didn’t even know what the hell going on 😭😭😭

Overall it was an enjoyable read anticipating the next book to see what will happen next yet kinda scared too. Whatever it is i need to know if Rain going to be a permanent addition to the Pack before anything else😭 i have a hard time wrapping my mind and emotion around sudden people added to relationship without warning…. Because as I continue reading i am starting to be ok with Rain 👀👀👀👀 so please tell me earlier if it will be a thing or not before suddenly shipping him off to safe camp and leave me heartbroken 🫠

This book is intense, dark, filthy, and impossible to put down. Nolah has truly outdone herself with The Night Movers, and I’m obsessed seriously, addicted. Ridley… Ridley is everything. Strong, defiant, and so far from what his omega status tells him he should be. The man doesn’t know how to take “no” for an answer, and that's exactly where I fell head over heels for him. An omega who’s meant to be submissive? Ridley laughs in the face of that. He’s out here making his own rules, and I love it.

Then we have Titus the packs alpha, the apparent worst of the worst. And yet I couldn’t get enough of him. The man has this fierce, ruthless persona, but underneath he’s a sweet, loyal protector. His connection with Ridley is instant, raw, and hot as hell. They have this chemistry that’ll set your kindle on fire, and that’s just the beginning.

And the rest of the pack let me tell you, it’s everything. Made up of Diesel, Sugar, Steele, Jenson, and Ryker, these five alphas each bring something different to the table, but when it comes to Ridley, they all see him as part of their family. Each one shares a unique bond with him, and yes, it’s a shared situation. I’m living for the polyamorous love story that unfolds as these men come together, each in their own way, to protect Ridley.

The storyline in this is perfection with a capital P. It’s high heat and even higher stakes. This is an omegaverse, but not the sweet, soft kind. It's ruthless, gritty, and relentless, much like the world they live in. Ridley’s search for his sister takes him into the heart of the most dangerous territory, and the Night Movers’ fight to change the system is just as savage. This story gives you everything, action, suspense, and the kind of love that’s formed in the fire of chaos.

The Night Movers: Season One by Nolah Harker
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 out of 5 stars)

This book? It grabbed me from page one and didn’t let go.

Set in a world torn apart by war, where Omegas are treated like property and society is built on control and inequality, The Night Movers throws you straight into the dark. And in the middle of all that darkness, we get Ridley—a rare Omega, strong-willed and brave, searching for his missing twin sister and refusing to just accept the rules of the system. Honestly? I was obsessed.

Yes, it’s spicy. Very spicy. But let me say this: the plot? Even stronger than the spice. The worldbuilding is brutal and vivid, and the storyline never feels like it’s just there to prop up the heat—it has weight. Every chapter pulled me deeper into the politics, the rebellion, the slow uncovering of truth, and Ridley’s fight to reclaim not only his freedom but his voice.

What I really loved? The book doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of the world it’s created—but at the same time, it gives you moments of softness, of love, of power reclaimed. And that line? “Who wants a pet when he can have a queen?” Yeah. That sums it all up. This isn’t a story about submission—it’s about defiance, and I was here for every second of it.

Final thoughts:
Dark, emotional, bold, and addictive. If you like your dystopias gritty, your characters fierce, and your romance laced with revolution—The Night Movers is 100% worth your time. I’m already bracing myself for Season Two.

First time reader of anything by this author (under any penname), but color me intrigued and invested.

Ridley, an omega, is trapped in a world where he doesn't get to make his own choices. Try as he might, he's surrounded by people who want to hurt him and own him. No matter what, he doesn't care what happens to him so long as he finds his twin sister.

Just when he thinks he's going to be sent to people who will just ruin him, he meets Titus, Diesel, Ryker, Jensen, Steele, and soon after, Sugar - the alphas who will be both his ruin and his salvation.

Harker's omegaverse world is dark, gritty, bloody, violent, and spicy. I've been waiting for an MM+ OV to give me what I've been craving, and this did it.

The main thing that I want is to learn more about the characters. Harker does a great job putting a spotlight on certain alphas, but there are definitely others who are still a mystery. I want to know what makes them all tick, but we have a lot more to learn.

If this was a standalone, I'd be super frustrated by this, BUT... Since this is an ongoing series, I'll just be patient and wait to get more of those puzzle pieces together.

I like that both the alphas and Ridley have stakes - the former to maintain their empire while saving omegas behind the scenes and the latter with his quest to uncover what happened to his sister. There are a lot of elements to balance, but Harker did well with keeping Ridley's quest alive in his mind and the readers, so the juggling act is going well thus far.

The action flows well, the pacing kept me interested, and honestly, the ending was open but not a terrible cliffhanger.

Omg, holy smokes, EPIC is the only word ringing in my head right now… that and feral for the next season!! I cannot stress enough how much I need it. This world Harker has created, unbelievably intricate yet so addictive, dystopian meets omegaverse meets mafia dialled up to a ten.. honestly I am at a loss for words on how to describe the experience that was the reading of this season.

First off Ridley, LOVE HIM!!! What a resilient bean.. an Omega beaten down but who just doesn’t stay down, the perfect mix of practical, idealistic and loyal. His men, his alphas, god.. hotness overload… each a distinct package of drool worthy Alpha.. I am in love.. never have I seen MMMMMM+ so perfectly written. Titus, Diesel, Steele, Sugar, Ryker, Jensen.. all so perfectly grey! And Rain how prescious!

The twists in this story are insanely unpredictable.. infact because of Ridley’s gifts the author actually tells you in advance what you may see and it’s still never the expected. And the action and political hierarchical structures are sublime, visceral, tactile.. you are forced to live there

expect:

- high high heat
- Loads and loads of K1nks
- Omegaverse and all it’s goodies of heats, slick, d/s dynamics
- Ongoing series so don’t expect and HEA
- Dark
- Touch him and ☠️
- Protective MCs
- MMMMMM+
- Forced proximity

Ridley is an omega in a world where omegas are treated like trash for the alphas of the world. Sold into breeding or whore houses - but a group of men save him from that fate, only for Ridley to realize through a vision that he belongs to them and their pack.

But he is on a mission to find and save his twin sister, hoping to get the night movers to help him.

Though the 6 alphas are hesitant at first, having previously agreed they would never have an omega, Ridley works his way past their walls, gaining their help. While he tries to change the game for the better of all omegas and get his sister back - his alphas have his back (if not somewhat reluctantly most of the time cause Ridley does some dumb things really).

Hate a cliffhanger! But! This was still interesting, super spicy, lots of things to learn about the characters still, felt like it was quite surface level so far on the alphas which really left me wanting more. There was also a few plot tho bc s that didn’t quite add up and I found Ridley to be a bit all over the place, sometimes pushy at the wrong time and then subservient in others. It just lacked a little character depth, I wanted to know the alphas more.

⭐️ 3.5/5 Stars – A Fresh & Sassy Take on ABO

The Night Movers stands out in the ABO genre with its unique twist omegas having special abilities! Finally, something different from the usual tropes. Yes, omegas are still treated poorly (as per ABO tradition), but the added supernatural element made this story way more intriguing.

Ridley is the star of this book a sassy, spitfire omega who doesn’t take crap from anyone. I loved his attitude. Sure, he slips into "typical omega mode" around his pack sometimes, but he still holds his own, and that balance was chef’s kiss. And oh my gosh, the things those alphas say to him, blushing, swooning, fanning myself—their dirty talk was everything.

Now, the book isn’t flawless. There were some spelling/grammar issues, and while I love smut as much as the next person, did we really need that many scenes? A few felt repetitive and dragged the pacing. A little less spice and a little more plot tightening would’ve made this even better.

But overall? I really enjoyed this! The dynamic between Ridley and his pack was fun, the world-building had a fresh edge, and the attitude was perfection. I might just pick up the next one to see where this goes!

Recommended for ABO lovers who want something a little different with a side of sass and steam. 🔥📖

Deliciously Dark 😈

Phew, what a wild ride that was! It was so good and I am at the edge of my seat waiting for the next book 😂. I love an Omegaverse novel, so to have one be a little bit darker which is also my cuppa, and you have an instant hit in my eyes.

Ridley has gone THROUGH it, but thankfully he now has a pack, although they are still strangers so there are certainly plenty of bumps along the way. I'm a little sad we didn't get to know some of the pack BUT that just means there is more reason to read the next book 😈.
The spicy scenes were amazingly over to top and everything I love about Omega's and Alpha's 🥵🔥, the dirty talk was particularly a favourite of mine. I really hope most of it was only dirty talk at least, since some characters like Steele are still hard to read 🤔. Diesel was an absolute cinnamon roll, and I'm thankful Ridley had him because man the other Alpha's didn't always make it easy to love them, but love them I'm sure I will once more is exposed 🫠🥹. And Rain, oh poor sweet Rain, I can't wait to watch that entire dynamic unfold and for him to hopefully become more enmeshed within the pack!

Devoured this when it was on Kindle Vella (wasn't fully finished before the 'zon devolved the program), and was so happy to see this come out as an ebook.

I always love a psychic storyline/MC, and Ridley having visions and clairvoyant powers was such a great addition to the storyline that was already dark and mysterious. Running into the baddest group of alphas while being trafficked, then finding out they were his pack and mates, was disconcerting and worrisome.

Ridley has great chemistry with a few of them so far, and the smut, of course, is so delicious. On top of that, the oppressive dystopian world is always in the back of your mind while they're all getting acquainted with each other. You can never be too careful, because it's not a kind world out there.

Every chapter gets more and more exciting. Brave precious Ridley, I love him, and I love all the characters so far (except the obvious villains).

Can't wait for book 2! I love this dark omegaverse scifi dystopian urban fantasy world Onley created. All the elements I love in my books mashed into one, AND it's gay harem! Multiple peens, yes!
