I love stories where the hero is a die-hard loverboy, and this one is just that.

It all starts with a mix-up. Aditya walks into a café for a coffee, and Sana, the café owner gets his order wrong. Then they part ways, but on not-so-good terms. But fate clearly had other plans. One chance encounter with Sana, and Aditya is hooked, such that when his parents start pressuring him to marry, the only face he can think of is hers. In true hero fashion, he goes straight to her café and proposes marriage to her. Sana, obviously shocked 🙆, tells him to get checked at a mental asylum for being delusional as they didn’t even know each other. But our Adi is smitten. Not one to give up, he pursues her relentlessly and slowly manages to win her over. Just when she’s finally about to confess her love, life throws a curveball that shatters everything. One incident plays spoilsport and breaks them apart. Will they find their way back to each other? Can love overcome family expectations and past mistakes?

Aditya is literally boyfriend goals. Handsome, successful and arrogant, with a heart of gold. His love for Sana is all encompassing, like literally, he’s such a green flag. He supports her through everything, even if it means standing up to his own parents. And the way he protects her, believes in her, and woos her is so swoony. Seriously, we all need an Adi in our lives.

Sana is beautiful, kind and fiercely independent. She’s a perfect daughter, loving her mother to bits and keeping her dad’s memory alive in running his café and taking it to newer heights. Initially disliking Adi for his sheer arrogance, she slowly melts under his persuasion. The author has shown their emotional growth beautifully. And the chemistry and the repartees between them are just so good. The parents play an important role too, with Sana’s kind and loving and Adi’s arrogant and controlling. This book is a perfect example of how true love bridges generational gaps and wins over any animosity.

A perfect mix of romance, family drama, and emotions, it’s a book that'll make you wish that a handsome man would just swoop in and propose to you out of the blue too 💞.
