Rate this book
In Sleepy Hollow nothing stays secret for long...

Octavia and her sister Rose are paranormal podcasters who’ve just arrived in Sleepy Hollow to try and uncover the truth behind the mysterious deaths of Samantha Waverly Kos’s brother, Arletta Harrington’s ex, and Arletta Harrington herself. But while the rest of the town believes Arletta died several Halloweens ago, Octavia isn’t so sure.

Matilda has dyed her hair as black as her heart and taken up to teasing Samantha about her demon lover Al as a new pastime, eternity can be boring sometimes after all. But when the local paranormal pub starts experiencing a blood shortage Matilda’s chronic pain she’s suffered from since before she became a vampire begins to flare to debilitating levels.

When the two women meet passion ignites and secrets from their pasts come to light. But they’re not the only ones keeping secrets, Arletta Harrington is back in Sleepy Hollow and she’s brought a darkness with her that just might doom them all.

I'd like to say that Thirsting for The Vampire sated me, at least for a little while, but that would be a lie. I need more of this series like I need air!!

I was not expecting to like Matilda, but you know what? She's not that bad. I'm sure I'll end up loving her as the series goes on. Octavia though, I liked instantly, and can't wait to see more of her and Rose in book four.

Speaking of Rose (and Matilda, and a few other characters throughout), I love the disability/chronic illness rep we got. It's present in Molly's other books, but probably most prevalent in this one, and she always handles it with so much care.

The romance was good, and so was the plot (but you already knew that). The little death-ending pieces are slowly coming together, and I'll be seated for however long it takes them to succeed (and beyond).

Such a cute book, where you find love in Sleepy Hollow. Two podcasters sisters traveled to Sleepy Hollow to hunt down a story. Which one of the girls didn't realize she would run into someone she met years ago. Which there was some kind of connection between them but the Vampire girl was denying up but for how long can she stay away.
I enjoyed this book so good.

ARC Review-

My girl Molly does it again!

I've been hooked on the sexy Sleepy Hollow series since the announcement of book one, and it is such an amazing series.

This was such a gripping story from start to finish, the comedy, the folklore, the spice, the found family, it was all brilliant. All the characters were fantastic and so grounded, and how can you not love Al? I love that she includes characters with chronic pain as it makes a lot of us feel seen in these characters in one way or the other. Now that there is another book on the way, I can't wait to know how it's all going to go down.

Never stop writing, Molly.

So honored to have been able to read this early. For fans of the SSHU (Sexy Sleepy Hollow Universe), all of your favorite characters are back to play with a few delightfully colorful new additions. For newcomers (or people with terrible memories who read lots of books, like me), there is a handy “and that’s what you missed on Glee” -style recap at the beginning.

I love the way Likovich incorporates different types of disabilities/illnesses in her characters. Most humans have some kind of condition, and it is refreshingly realistic to see so much representation. Likovich writes with a kind of empathetic and poetic thoughtfulness that is both validating and beautiful in a way that you might not expect from a paranormal romance novella. It adds a level of nuance and depth that any author would envy and any reader will enjoy. Even just the fact that there are characters with glasses! Love it.

Likovich also clearly does RE.SEARCH. Like, dang, I feel like I’m taking a folklore class every time I read one of her works. The amount of effort, passion, and care she puts into everything she produces is astounding. There are even fun spooky Easter eggs in the chapter titles. The ATTENTION to DETAIL! We’re not worthyyyy.

As per usual, Likovich has crafted a fun, touching, spooky, and spicy read that anyone who likes good books will enjoy.

Oh my lord y'all. Sleepy Hollow is so back. When Molly told us(hype team) that she was writing a sapphic vampire book set in the Sexy Sleepy Hollow universe and we'd be receiving an ARC of it, I was absolutely overjoyed. It was everything my vampire-loving sapphic heart could dream of🥹
This was so beautiful. Octavia and her sister are paranormal podcasters who have arrived in Sleepy Hollow to investigate the mysterious "death" of Arletta Harrington and the deaths of 2 others. Octavia knows Arletta must be alive and wants to prove the world wrong. However, she didn't expect to see the vampiress who haunted her past. Matilda is one salty vampire. When blood shortages cause her chronic pain from before she was turned to flare up the only sweetness she can manage is Octavia. Old passion ignites and in comes the stormy romance of these two. All the while, Arletta is back in town and ready to bring certain doom to them all. 🤭 Gosh yall. I adored this. Matilda was such an evil woman and I was loving it. Like I would happily let her drain me. She was quite literally female Nosferatu/Count Orlok. I was loving it. Her romance with Octavia was so hot and steamy. Whewie. Speaking of Octavia, I loved the anxiety representation. There was a panic attack scene that was written so beautifully that I felt like it was a scene I experienced because of how accurate it was. It was remarkable. I was also dying of laughter during this book. I love how Molly manages to make her characters hate each other so much yet you know it's all out of love. It makes reading it so fun! Anyways I loved this, it was so cute and I cannot wait to see where this plot goes🤭 Oh and I'm so in need of Sandman's book. I cannot wait. This was so fun and such an easy read. I mean seriously who doesn't love sapphic vampires? 👀

I really liked this novella, I love the sleepy hollow series and this was my first book ever with both protagonists being females and Molly did not disappointed with that. Riding the headless horsemen will still be my favorite of them all, but the whole story is so interesting and I'm very excited for the story with melody and the sandmen and the whole thing with death. 🧡

As always it is an honor to be part of the magical process that creates these novels.

Thirsting for the Vampire, has given me just what I need an actual evil vampiress it’s about time. And the thrills that come with it and the fantasy of belonging to one (I’m fucked in the head what can I say)
It also fulfills all my paranormal romance needs it’s just fantastic to see the full cast interact with one another and building up more of the world and the story.
Now asides from all of that on a more serious note
I commend Molly always for her care. For her special attention to represent all types of people in her heroines and others. And the way she has done it with much respect but also realness.

Can’t wait for all the sleepy hollow adventures to come

Octavia and her sister Rose make a trip to Sleepy Hollow to investigate the mysterious deaths that recently took place, along with the disappearance of Arletta Harrington for their podcast. Along the way they meet Matilda, the vampire Octavia can't seem to stay away from.

We all know by this point that I love everything Molly writes, so when she asked me to read the next installment in her Sexy Sleepy Hollow series I obviously jumped on the chance. I am obsessed with Matilda, and was so excited when I realized the next book in the series would feature her. Molly has a way of writing her characters so realistically and relatable. They're always witty, and have unique personalities. She ensures that when she is writing about their chronic illnesses, she does so with care and empathy. I also love when we get to see old characters that were in previous books pop their heads in to make an appearance.

I'm excited for you all to be able to read about Matilda and Octavia soon.... AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT INSTALLMENT AND WHO IT IS ABOUT!!!

I didn’t love this as much as the other two unfortunately! I just didn’t really care about the plot or the main characters but it was still a fun time!
