After her breakup with Blane Kirk, Kathleen Turner is left to pick up the pieces. She’s just not sure that’s something she can do in Indianapolis. She’s contemplating a move to Chicago when Kade Dennon returns to her life. Blane’s brother is the only one who understands what Kathleen has been through. He offers a sympathetic shoulder for her to lean on and more. Will Kathleen take the offer Kade makes and stay? Or has Indianapolis and its proximity to Blane become a place she can no longer tolerate?
A note from Allyson: I really love The Kathleen Turner series; it touched me emotionally. With a couple of years’ experience writing, I was excited to take a shot at this fan fiction. As you'll see, I was Team Blane. This novella starts off after Blane and Kathleen’s engagement has broken off (after the end of the third book in the series, Turning Point). It’s intended to be an alternate ending to what happens in books four and five.
Obviously, no one will be able to do Kathleen, Blane and Kade justice like Tiffany Snow. She has a way of blending just the right amount of humor into her stories and makes Kathleen, Blane and Kade so alive for the reader. Humor is in no way my forte (although I wish it were). Luckily, the subject matter here—Blane and Kathleen post-breakup—is entirely serious. I hope you'll enjoy the story.

This is an alternate ending for The Kathleen Turner series. I enjoyed the book. There were times I wanted to slap Blane upside of his head for the garbage he was putting Kat through. The author made me care about Kat and want the best for her.
While the character's might not have been as good as the original the story itself was so much better.it made sense where the original didn't make any sense at all and at least Kathleen didn't end up a slut here.
I gave it a try because I love this series but this book did not do it justice. It was not a believable interaction between the characters and how they where in the series.
The book was very bad in that there were no characters that had anything that was normal or exciting. The main lady acted stupid and the whole story was not believable.
