3.5 Interesting. Fast paced and spicy. I loved how she was an librarian and fell into the world in the book.
I wasn't a fan of the big paragraphs.

I was captivated and mesmerized by this book! It had the spice and banter and it was told in a very unique way. Starting with the first chapter I was hooked. His descriptions were absolutely beautiful! The way he described the FMC was so poetic! This book is a time travel Robin Hood retelling and it was phenomenal, better than any retelling books I have ever read.
The man can tell a story that encapsulates your mind and keeps the gears turning. It was so good! The twists and turns and the banter keeps you turning the pages.
I didn’t see some of the twists and turns coming and they happened so perfectly that didn’t change the entire story! I loved it! I hope the author continues to write these stories cause he has me hooked!

I can’t express how much I enjoyed this. From the very first moment, I was completely captivated. The humor of the characters, Alden and Garek, drew me in, and I found myself falling in love with these characters. I was constantly on the edge of my seat, wondering what Mary (our MFC) was going to do next. Or what was going to happen with Cage ( our MMC) or the village. Experiencing this journey with them was so fun and stressful,but I really enjoyed the ride. Even though I was yelling at the author at times!
This was a romantic, humorous,fantasy-tinged adventure with whimsical and slightly chaotic energy — think “Robin Hood” meets romantic comedy . I loved this so much, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a heartwarming adventure!

Once again I’m captivated! The descriptive story telling, the spice, the banter the sarcasm. Add the creative twist to time travel and Robin Hood to round out this Tale!
Mary and Cage unique relationship literally transcends time and space and we are left wonder when, where and how till the very end on how this story will shake out!

I loved this short but sweet story about a sweet librarian who unexpectedly finds herself trapped between two worlds. It is a tale of romance and adventure, there is some spice but its not over done.
The world building was great, very detailed. Watching Mary find herself and the person she was meant to be was wonderful. Cage was charismatic, sweet, and a truly wonderful human being. The main characters were all likeable, little bits of humor here and there.
If you are looking for a quick enjoyable read, I definitely recommend this book.

Oh My Goodness this book deserves more than 5 stars!! A fast paced romantasy that hits you in all the right places and leaves you satisfied with an incredible ending that hints at so much more. Cage is by far my favorite indie romantasy book and I fell in love with this poetic love story that I'm excited to see what the future holds for the world of Cage.

Exceptional FMC and MMC
This has been one of the best reads of the year for 2025/2026. The author grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go. The MMC is stubborn, thoughtful, witty, yet loving. The FMC is shy, timid, courageous, and emotional, yet honest. The love story is one to remember. It's a sexy yet still classy romance.

Absolutely loved this story!
The story immediately pulls you in with such descriptions of the world and characters that you just can't put it down! (In between adulting that is) highly recommend!
