The New York Times and USA Today bestselling series continues...
As the world tried to tear us apart, Alexander fought for me, claiming me as his own. I belong to him—body, heart, and soul. I found strength in his dominance. In his control. In his love.
Still I could always feel it: the darkness creeping toward our joy, threatening to overcome us. But I never imagined it would end like this. I thought I knew what marrying Alexander meant to my life. To my independence. To us.

Ripped apart by tragedy, fighting for love, Clara and Alexander face their darkest hour in the stunning conclusion to their saga…
Geneva Lee is the New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling author of over thirty novels. Her bestselling Royals Saga has sold nearly four million copies worldwide. She's shamelessly addicted to recovering alpha males, headstrong heroines, and drop-your-jaw plot twists. People Magazine calls Geneva's books "convincing with fluid writing that's full of drama." When she isn't writing or reading, you might find her on another adventure with her real-life hero and their three kids.
Although it's been a very long time since I heard this trilogy (this was my first audio book! Lol 🙈😱) but I forgot to upload my review
This is a modern fairy tale love story for adults – because, come on… we all want to fall in love with a prince! (Prince Harry, take me!) 😂❤ The difference is that THIS prince is also a domineering alpha with a dirty mouth, an exaggerated libido, a divine body and let's not forget… The freaking price of England! 👑💃
At Clara Bishop's graduation party, she finds herself alone on the balcony, hiding from the hustle and bustle. But she's not alone… In the shadows lurks a stranger . 💥 An entertaining conversation leads to an unexpected kiss between the two. But before Clara realizes what happened, the stranger is gone… She's sure she will never see him again, but to her surprise – a few days later she finds lots of paparazzi outside her door. 😱
Prince Alexander of Cambridge (or just 'X') is described as the "Sexiest man in the world"… and well, he's the Prince of England, so it has to be true!!! 😂 Alexander takes what he wants, whenever he wants… and although they come from very different worlds, he wants Clara. 🔥
And so, what begins as a physical connection becomes much more – a royal love story full of lust, betrayals, lies and above all, love. 💞 Well, nope. not really… Above all, SEX. Lots of sex!!! LOL 😂😂😂
Will their fragile relationship survive England and the crown…? 👑
I read A LOT and I no longer settle for books based on sex and clichés… so I won't lie, this book has ALL that. Maybe that's why it's a little embarrassed to admit, but damn it… I liked it! It was kind of Guilty Pleasure, like secretly watching the Kardashians! LOL 😂🙈
And yet, I couldn't ignore the all the similarities to "50 shades" that made me roll my eyes, the clichés and (I can't believe I'm writing this, but…) there were too many sex scenes!!! 😬 I mean, these two couldn't hold for 2 minutes without… mating. 😂 And although they were insanely HOT, I felt that it overshadowed the story.
Still, I finished reading with a smile and a desire to book a flight to London! ✈ If you ask me, this series would suite best to beginners in the erotic genre. ❤
4 “I can feel the terrible book hangover coming” stars
I actually don’t know which words to use. I’ve used them all by now. There are no words left. No words to express. I’ve said “wow”. And “mind-blowing”. And “fantastic”. And “I love it”. And “fuck”. A whole lot of “fuck”. In all its variations. When you read a really, and I mean really, amazing book, there’s a point when you get so excited about it, that the only way to express your feelings is through swearing a lot. I think the word “fuck” as actually never been used so much in the history. I’ve used all the possible ways I could find to express my love for this series at this point. So I’ll just be plain boring and unoriginal: I fucking loved it. I fell in love with this story. So much. In fact, if I could I would demand more. I want more. More of Alexander and Clara. More of Geneva Lee’s writing. More of those god damn panty melting sex scenes. Unfortunately, I’m not Queen of England, and therefore I’m not granted such privilege. Although…I might still try. Just in case. Ha!
"We fight and we fuck and we love each other. We never walk away."
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; this series doesn’t get half the attention it deserves. This story is sexy and naughty but it’s also a beautiful story about love and its difficulties. Responsibility and its difficulties. Duty and its difficulties. It’s a story of passion, and secrets and tenderness. I don’t know how to put it other than it’s perfect. If you ever wonder what the adult version of Cinderella would be; then you just found it.
"A gentleman would take you upstairs and close the door. He would make love to you slowly so that your screams wouldn't wake your friends. I am not a gentleman."
I’ve grown to care for both Alexander and Clara. I rarely connect with female protagonist, but Clara found a way to make me like her. She was strong, fearless and she respected herself. I hate female protagonists who don’t seem to respect themselves, but she did, and I ended up connecting with her on many of her decisions and actions. I feel like she acted the way I would have acted in her position. Yes, some might say she wasn’t the strongest character in the first book, I agree, but I can’t say she was weak. She was disadvantaged. That’s what she was. How the heck would you feel if in the space of a few weeks you were in a relationship with a highly troubled and demanding man who you don’t know shit about, your life was suddenly oh so public because said man is a Prince, and the said man’s family acts as if you were a royal whore. I personally can’t say I’d be at my strongest and advantaged self. I’m not ashamed of that. That’s why I connected with her. She did exactly what I would have done. Keeping a dignified silence isn’t being weak. Not respecting yourself is being weak. There’s a difference. And I feel like some people don’t see that difference.
"Love isn’t perfection. Love is when two imperfect people choose not to give up on each other."
When I reviewed the second book, Conquer Me, I said it was quite surprisingly better than the first one. Well, I’ll be very repetitive and say that the third was even better than the second. This is the kind of series that just keeps on getting better and better and better. And it never disappoints. At least, it didn’t disappoint me. Some might say parts of it were cliché, all I have to say about that is one: this is basically a story about a prince and a commoner, what else do you expect? And second, I’m far from ashamed to admit that clichés work on me. They’re clichés for a reason, and that’s because most of the time, whether you like it or not, they work. They worked on me. Although, I don’t think there were that many. Not in the least.
If I was to ever imagine what my perfect fairy-tale with my perfect Prince Charming would look like, I simply wouldn’t have to, Geneva Lee did it for me. It’s as simple as that. Laurelin Paige said it before me, and it’s absolutely true: this is the story of what would have happened if Prince Charming grew up and got really kinky. You want a possessive, domineering, highly protective and demanding alpha male, Alexander is your next fix.
I’ll just finish by saying that I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys erotic romance AND the kinky side of erotica. Geneva Lee writes some of the steamiest sex scenes I’ve ever read. It’s a definite must-read.
Now, Alexander is waiting for you. Don’t make him wait. Alexander doesn’t wait. He gets what he wants when he wants it and how he wants it. He never begs. He doesn’t say please. He just demands and expects obedience. So, you better get your ass moving and start reading this series or else…
This review is going to be short, because I think if you like romance, and you don't mind royal you should read this series. With that going on I can't really describe book without giving spoilers. So just try and I hope you will like it, just like me.
''So long as we were her - so long as we were united- no act of God or man could tear as apart.''
''Home isn't a place, poppet. Not for me. You are my home.''
''Love isn't a perfection. Love is when two imperfect people choose not to give up on each other.''
Blown away by what I read. 3 books of intense moments, sexy scenes, HOT sex haha ! Alex and Clara were the perfect match and the chemistry between them was WOW. These books gave me chills, and now I'm dreaming to have an Alexander in my life. Every girl needs a prince, am I right? All the characters in the books were so good (not every one of course haha but most of them). Belle, Jane, Edward, Norris, loved them all.
Seriously, I have no words, I loved this saga and now I'm reading Belle's book !
I'm a little surprised by this last book. I was expecting to see Clara struggling to fit in with all the nasty royals, but something happened in at the end of the 2nd book that seemed to move this in a new direction. I liked that it wasn't predictable. There's still plenty of drama but I thought it was a fitting end to the first stage of Clara and Alexander's story.
Crown Me is emotional, incredibly sexy, enchanting, and consuming every girl dreams of finding her prince...
"No beginning. No end. Just like us."
When we had left Alexander (X) and Clara (Poppet)at the end of Conquer Me, they had just become engaged. X had declared his intentions and love for Clara in a swoon worthy proposal that made me swoon and cry. The fact that X was able to finally accept Clara's love and disregard his father's demands made me bust out my happy dance.
"The choices the future forced would be ours alone."
Crown Me starts pretty much where we left off, Clara and X are planning their Royal wedding, which is set to be a grand and overwhelming affair for both of them. Clara's family is mostly over the moon with happiness for her, and X's family is still hell bent on ruining it all, with the exception of Edward.
Can I just stop right here and say how much I adore, Edward? Because I need too. Both Edward and Bella are just amazing characters, even in their supporting roles they shine throughout this series. Every time we experience them in a scene I fall even more in love with them. I digress...
Clara dreams of becoming X's wife, but cares nothing for the fame, the notoriety, or the money that accompanies it, all she needs is X. She wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life being with the man who brings her to her knees, and loves her in a way no one ever has.
"No matter how much changed, he was my constant. My center. My core. As long as I had him, I could handle all the chaos."
X wants nothing more than to spend his days with his Poppet, worshipping her and making her his own in every imaginable way. Yet still after all that they have overcome in the past to be together, forces beyond either of their control are still hell bent on tearing them apart.
"All the things that happened to us-they haven't defeated us. They haven't destroyed us. They've strengthened us. I couldn't do any of this without you-"
The reasons why I adore this series are abundant and I could ramble for quite some time trying to put it all in words, but in the end it comes down to this:
1. The characters are just incredible, Clara and X are such a perfect complement to each other. Clara is independent, strong willed, smart, and the type of character you'd just love to have for a friend IRL. X is the dominant alpha that you cannot help but swoon for. He's protective, possessive, domineering and has such a sinfully dirty mouth, you cannot help but blush and squirm.
"A gentleman would take you upstairs and close the door. He would make love to you slowly so that your screams wouldn't wake your friends." He bent and tipped my chin up with his index finger. His gaze smoldered through me, melting the last of my inhibitions. "I'm not a gentleman."
2. The supporting characters are every bit as engaging and loveable as the main characters.
3. The story line is very much every woman's fairy tale. A young woman, meets a handsome prince who swoops in and sweeps her completely off her feet.
4. The writing is fabulous. Geneva Lee knows how to deliver a story. She wraps you up in the story so tightly, you forget that anything else exists outside the world she has created for you. The story is both complex and simple, it's layered with feels, drama, humour, incredible love scenes, danger and intrigue.
5. Its' quite simply, a beautiful love story, that proves even the darkest pasts, can be overshadowed by light.
"I can't promise you there will be no darkness, Clara." His face nuzzled against my neck, inhaling deeply. "I am not a perfect man, but you have all of me. Never doubt that."
I can't possibly articulate with the proper words, how much I love this series. I fell in love with Command Me, and Conquer Me, and I fell even harder after reading Crown Me. It's become one of my all time favorite series, and Poppet and X have become one of my all time favorite book couples. Following along on their journey towards their happily ever after has been magnificent. The Royals Saga is a series that I will re-visit many times in the future, as re-visiting my favorite stories is something that I treasure time and time again. I can only hope there will be more stories to come for Poppet, X, Edward and Bella, once again I'm not ready to let go...
It was pretty much exactly what I expected after my reaction to books 1 & 2. It perches prettily at the corner of eh and predictable. Did I expect it to just be an ok read? Maybe. But sometimes I expect that, and I’m blown away – that didn’t happen here. Why did I read it if I wasn’t dying over books 1&2? Because I’m a finisher (well, most of the time) and I was curious if reading the rest of the series would change my view on the whole thing. Spoiler alert: it didn’t.
I really don’t hate this series. It’s written well, the characters are nicely developed, and I occasionally cared about them. However, it’s really really predictable. I’m not rehashing my complaint about how this series is like fifty shades redux (if you’d like to see that, please view my review of 1&2), but I’ll let you know that the similarities continued. Do you want to know what happens in book three? Take Ana from FSOG and add a Prince. Sure, there are a couple of deviations, but the main stuff is there. I just sort of yawned my way through it.
Can I make one other minor complaint? I know I’m probably being nit-picky now, but there was an excessive overuse of the term ‘crown’ for the head of his penis. I get it. He’s going to be King, he’s going to be crowned, the book is called Crown Me and you can call the head of a penis a crown. I know I’m overreacting, but that bugged me incessantly. It was like the author was trying to tell me an inside joke and saying “you get it? GET IT?” …Yes, I FUCKING GET IT.
Ok, so some good stuff: the sex is pretty hot, I’ll give this book that. The two of them fuck like rabbits. It’s fairly impressive being as how he’s in charge of running a country (ok, SORT OF. not to get into the politics of it, but I’m pretty sure the prime minister runs that country and he would just have other ceremonial obligations, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). I do love a good dominant alpha male and Alexander fits that part to a T. I really liked their relationship and the relationships between the other characters. Edward is awesome, and I was super happy for his news in this book.
The ending made me mostly happy, even though we had to travel through the land of FSOG to get there. Overall, I liked it. It gives you a nice HEA with a comforting story line and it’s well written. Three stars for all.

My Thoughts
Well, we know that things had to get worse before they got better and while we know that they are DEEP in love and that they are potentially meant to be together, we're left to wonder if they will be together and how many people are going to get in their way. From the teaser at the end of book 2, we get the sense that someone's buying a gun to kill Clara and/or Alexandra, and my assumption at least is that - and that it's Daniel, but we go through the story wondering when the attempt will happen.
Not only do we have that level of anxiety throughout the story, we also wonder what's going to happen with the happy couple to keep them together and pull them apart. We know that the king really does NOT want Clara as part of the family and will never accept her - yet i'm curious what the true motivation there is - since there has to be more than her American accent and the fact that she's not the one that he chose for Alexander to marry.
There's also the question of what's to become of Edward's happiness and if he'll find happiness. i think that we're all rooting for him since he's the 'touch stone' for Clara when she's going out of her mind with issues that Alexander has. I really like how the royal family is so diverse, but i wonder if it's really too much to be real. The eldest son who's not just marrying a commoner (like the real prince did), but that she's also semi-American, and the younger son who's in love with another man, and a wife/mother who passed away at a young age. All cliche things when you look at it rolled together but some how it works.
On top of all the royal family issues, we also have the underlying story of Belle and Phillip since things just don't seem settled there, and i'm not surprised at all where we go with them. there's also Pepper - the gift that keeps on giving, and then there's also the new girl Georgia that we meet, and whom i guessed her role in Alexander's past even before it was voiced. What she's been hired to do however, that i'm still trying to understand since i'm not sure that i follow how she's able to do what she's being paid to.
In any event, through the roller coaster of emotions, we get some of the steamiest scenes between the lovers that you can possibly imagine. We know that they are VERY in love and that translates to passion that leaps off the pages and it hasn't seemed to die down at all through any of the 3 books. I keep hoping that there will be a bit of dimming at one point or another, and there's not. They are going strong, still in the honeymoon phase with how they can't keep their hands and lips etc off each other and i don't know about any one else who's reading, but i actually had to read quickly through a few pages since i was on a plane and i didn't want to have someone look over at how hot it was.
What i didn't expect necessarily was where the end of this story took us, and i won't give spoilers so have no worries. I was hoping that some of it would happen, maybe not in the manner that it did, but i feel like there were conversations that had to happen to get some of the resolution. the other bit though is that there are deaths in this story. Some of course are necessary to keep the story going, but i feel like i wish that some didn't happen since there was unfinished business. The epilogue though takes us to a great point in the future, not terribly far but far enough to give us a glimpse into what may be one day....and what it will look like to those who remain with us. So, all in all, one of my top series - i think that all 3 books were GREAT and our author Ms. Lee did a great job in keeping us engaged, intrigued and really really hot. Enjoy!
Damit muss man also bei diesem Abschluss rechnen.
I was a little nervous going into this book. I really enjoyed how the second book ended and was given no security by the epilogue of the second and was anticipating drama. I felt like there really didn't need to be a third. I was happy and content, but I read the reviews for this book and was ensured that I was in for a great, wild, drama-filled ride with a happy ending. I guess I did get all of those things, but I felt like something was missing. With this book I stopped feeling the connection as strongly between Alexander and Clara. It seemed to me the relationship kind of stopped building and became more about sex. There is TONS of sex!! And normally that is something I don't mind, but it seemed like it took the place of having an actual story! Without all the sex that's in all three books, I think this could have been a two book series! And don't get me wrong I love reading books filled with lots of steamy, hot, monkey sex, but this was almost just too much!! I felt like the Daniel plot line was dragged out and I hated how Alexander kept things from Clara. And I think there was an opportunity wasted to give the book a little more depth when Alexander's relationship with his old sub wasn't explored more. I'm glad there was not much angst where that was concerned, but it seemed like it was mentioned, it was something that bothered Clara, she ran into her on the street and had a somewhat cold, uninformative heart-to-heart with said sub, then Alexander fired her from the "favor" that he called in, and there was no mention of her again. Now while I don't want undue drama to occur, I feel like the author missed an opportunity to explore Alexander more and give us more insight. The matter was dropped. I did like the conversation Clara and the King had toward the end of the book, and I'm glad we got a teeny little glimpse into what he was thinking and feeling, although it was too little, too late. I hated how Alexander acted after the wedding. I suppose I can understand a little bit, but it seemed like the author was looking for ways to prolong the story and it didn't really need to be prolonged. I also thought we were left hanging a bit when it comes to what actually happened the night that his sister died. Pepper hinted that she knew something and we got a little information from Johnathan, but I still would have liked answers as to what actually happened. These are things I think could have filled the story in a little more, but instead of answers, we got sex. Overall, I did enjoy this series, but I think it could have been finished in two books, especially since they were a bit pricey; for me anyway. I also enjoyed the secondary characters in these books a lot, and I look forward to their happy endings as well.
I loved this one, this was by far my favorite of the bunch! This series as a whole had great emotional angst and just a bit of romantic suspense thrown in to make things exciting! although it was definitely kicked up a notch in this one! I just loved the story line...the "bad boy" Prince of England who falls for an American girl and all of the obstacles and road blocks that they have to overcome in order to achieve their happily ever after. The romance between these two, combined with great storytelling was what kept me reading...what i would say was a downside for me was that the amount of sex in these books was a bit over the top...although the scenes were extremely sexy it just got to be a bit much..the amount of sex they were having was crazy! I like steaminess in my books, which is why i have a tendency to stay away from YA romances, on the other hand, i don't like my books to be saturated with sex. The saving grace for me and the reason i kept reading and ultimately really enjoyed them, was the fact that there was a decent amount of story and what was there was really good!!
The final book for Clara and Alexander and it didn't disappoint! This book was fantastic so much drama and sexy time.
This book continues on from book number two but a couple of months later. Clara and Alex are getting married and it's all happening very fast and Daniel (the crazy ex) is still on the loose.
These two still have to overcome obstacles and sometimes it looks like these two won't make it but they hold strong.
The ending was so cute and everything in their lives have led them to each other. Perfect ending for a great series!
This series was a great contemporary romance with a twist from the norm.
Loving this series. Yay for Clara & Alexander. Recommend to anyone who like a raunchy story with loads of emotions. Brilliantly written. Recommend to all
After the first two books I clearly had to read this last one about Clara and Alexander as well. Luckily I got them without asking from the publisher. And so after I had finished the second book I could go straight to this one.
And it was really worth it. Fine, it wasn´t as much dark and erotic as I would have wished for, but the change in the relationship of Clara and Alexander and the change in the tone of the novel itself was nonetheless very entertaining.
So I had my moments reading it and though it wasn´t as dark as the others, it was fun too.
Clara should be on cloud number seven. But she is not. Not only that she´s struggling with the constant refusal the royal family is showing, her own isn´t much better. Her mother tries to control her daughter´s life to forget about her own marriage problems and the fact that Alexander relegates her very clearly isn´t making the situation easier.
With a clear and simple writing-style wrote the author this third book of her Royal Saga. Written from the personal point of views by Clara and Alexander, the reader gets again involved into a very emotional story. Not as dark and erotic as the first two books have been, but beautiful and sensitive.
Despite that, I couldn´t get rid of the feeling, that there were some scenes that no other purpose but to fill some additional pages.
Alexander is kind of surprised when he has to see that Clara is not willing to play the part he is wants to have her in his life and when Clara tells him some things very clearly, he is shocked. No matter what scenes you are going through in this novel, the author never gets kitschy. Sure I would have wished that some scenes were handled a bit different and that the author would have accentuated some thinks a lot better. And that there were so many questions unanswered in the end was sad, too. But despite that, Crown Me is a real reading pleasure.
A king who misjudges his family, especially his sons, so completely, a grandmother who is as cold as the arctic ice and a best friend who has to learn the hard way that she can´t keep continuing to tell her best friend what to do, when and how.
Clara has changed; to the better. She is no longer willing to let others tell her what to do and when and how. She still has to fight her eating problem, has to set an alarm clock to know when she has to eat and yet she manages her life quite well.
Alexander is dominant by nature. The public doesn´t know much of this side of him, but that doesn´t change that he is who he is. The fact, that a bourgeois shows him that he can´t control everyone and everything, is totally news to him and hits him like a rock.
No doubt a beautiful novel. I only missed the dark and the erotic elements that were so typical for the first two books. Despite that, a wonderful reading pleasure and for all Geneva Lee fans a must read. Clear recommendation.
I think this one was the best in the trilogy. I still don't understand how Clara's car flipped over at the end though. I thought someone deliberately rammed into her?
Also: Enter a hospital as an ordinary girl and walk out as a Queen. That's how you do it.
50th book of 2022! 1/3 of the reading challenge completed lol
