Tess Demakis loves the city life. The noise, the lights, the people. Everything about the rush feels like home. The only thing missing is a spark with any of the pack males. After her and her twin sister's twenty-fifth birthday passes, she'd thought for sure one of the handsome men in her aunt's pack might've been meant for her.
- No. Such. Luck. -

Now he can't think of anything but unwrapping the gorgeous sassy blonde and making her his forever.

Unwrapping Tess: Christmas Encounters is book 5 in the Vegas Mates series by Krystal Shannan. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author.
Tess Demakis is one of the twins. She and her sister have been living in New York for the last two years since the death of their mother with their Aunt who runs the pack in that area. It’s Christmas time and everyone is gathering at Maggie and Scott’s Inn up in the mountains. Secretly, she is glad to get out of the city. It’s her sister that thrives on the big city life style. Her wolf yearns to be free.
Patrick O’Hearn is Scott’s brother and is a bear shifter. He has just finished a long deployment and has gotten his discharge papers. He can’t wait to be a civilian again and see his family. It’s his first day at his brother’s place when Tess walked in. He knew right away and he is sure she did too. They are fated mates. The magick between them was unmistakable. Tess, though, is thought of as wolf royalty. Will she leave her pack, leave the big city for him?
“If they’d been human, she would’ve laughed at the thought of feeling true love and affection for someone in fewer than twenty-four hours. But for shifters, magick moved the emotional timeline at the speed of light. There was no-holds-barred. Anything could happen.”
These two together had chemistry like fire. But for Tess, there was more to think about than just herself. No matter how badly she just wanted to jump right ahead and accept the bond with Patrick, she wanted to do it right. She wanted permission from the alpha as well as talking to her twin sister.
I have enjoyed this series from the start. This was a perfect little short story two years after everything ended in the fourth book. We see how happy everyone is and how the couples have progressed. I’m so glad Tess is getting her chance at a happily ever after for herself. And what a perfect setting than at Christmas in the mountains.
“She’d been looking for home and finally, she’d found the perfect place and the perfect mate.”
For a werewolf, living in New York has its limitations. So, returning to the Woodhaven Inn in Utah for the holidays is all Tess can think about. Surrounded by a lush forest, Woodhaven caters exclusively to its paranormal guests, providing the perfect setting for werewolves and other shape shifters to run freely, without fear of being discovered by humans. And although her pack's bases are in New York and Las Vegas, Tess has always preferred the forest setting of Woodhaven over the city.
Arriving at the inn, Tess is excited to join her friends and family for a Christmas celebration. Along with her sisters, Hallie, Nicole, and Sam and extended family, the celebration begins. But Tess never expected to meet Patrick O'Hearn, or to find herself drawn to a male from outside her pack... someone who is not only an outsider, but one of the most formidable shifters she's ever met.
After the fall of the traditional royal order of the packs that Tess has grown up with, a lot has changed. This story continues on with the enchanting world of the Vegas Mates, where wolves and shifters live in secret, amongst the humans, and where the traditional pack is being redefined.
What will her pack alpha have to say about the budding romance between her and Patrick? And even with her alpha's blessings, does she really want to change her life so drastically? Tess must overcome her own beliefs about family, and what is most important in life, if she is to find the love and true joy she has always wanted. There is a lot at stake, but will love prevail?
A really great story, with plenty of romance, this installment is a fun and festive holiday read, with all the clever quips and paranormal charm we've come to know and love from the Vegas Mates. The characters have evolved, and with new twists, I'm excited to see what direction the author will take us in the next installment!

I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.
Little did Tess imagine that her holiday retreat would bring so much joy....She finally meets her life mate, but Patrick is a bear shifter! The love and passion is instantaneous.
Tess is a descendent of royalty, of the original wolf shifter. Will her family accept Patrick and will she be able to stay in the mountains away from her twin who lives in NY?
This was a fun, quick holiday read. Even though it's book 5 in a series, it can be read as a stand alone, although I think you'd get a better feel for all the characters if you read their love matches first. Tess is a wolf who longs to return to her country home where her wolf can run freely, but is worried about how that will impact her pack in New York. Patrick, a bear shifter and the brother of Scott, mate to another member of Tess's pack, knows the minute he sees Tess that she's his mate. With the help of magick, insta-love ensues, but there are still problems to work out with pack politics. Especially since Tess is a wolf and Patrick a bear. Luckily, as with all HEA, things work out for our couple. If you're looking for a short read filled with holiday cheer and some spicy sex, I recommend this one.
I received a complementary copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
As someone who is yet to read Krystal's "Vegas Mates" series (I know it's terrible of me)... I found myself enjoying this novella. It gave me a taste of what I've missed out on with the previous books, but was also made understandable, so I didn't have to read from book 1. Although now I have them all on my TBR & plan to get & read them ASAP. I loved everything within this book & can't wait to be able to read the rest & for what is yet to come in the series.
Cats and bears and wolves oh my! I really enjoyed all of the different shifters in this book. A very sweet story with a bit of a Christmas miracle. So much love and passion.
(I received a copy in exchange for my honest review)
Tess' wolf has been very unhappy living in New York. It wants to be free and being at Woodhaven for the holidays is just about perfect! Tess and her sisters are celebrating Christmas together but she never expected an additional present..her mate!
Patrick is just about the biggest badass of them all! After the drama and fall out moving from the traditional royal order of the packs in the previous books, a lot has changed. Woodhaven is a perfect, isolated idyll to let your inner beast be free!
Tess has a lot of choices to make and decisions to standby. Will she define herself by her past traditions and status or take a leap of faith and love and define "her pack" by her standards?
A real festive read, which although it's now March fit my snowstorm in Scotland! Witty, warm and a great way to catch up with all the Vegas Mates.
Cute, short, Christmas story of how Tess Demakis, one of a set of twins and very high up in shifter society, and Patrick O’Hearn, a Navy SEAL, come together while visiting relatives over the holiday. Tess is tired of the city life. Her twin thrives on it, but she misses the woods and freedom of Woodhaven. She has just turned 25 and is now expected to find a mate and settle down. When she first meets Patrick, she is surprised to discover that her mate is a bear. Gob-smacked would be more like it. When he saves her life they come to an understanding, and the operative word is not understanding, ahem. But first, her family and her alpha must agree to let her leave the family and mate a bear. That will happen, right?
I enjoyed this shifter novella with a side of holiday and family obligations. It had a good mix of sweet moments, spice, and real life issues. Tess is wolf shifter descended from two royal lines. Patrick is a bear shifter, whose brother is mated to one of Tessa‘s friends. They meet when Tessa’s family goes to the teatime mountains for the Christmas holiday. Mixed species mating is now allowed but Tess assumed she’d stay in New York City with her twin sister and ultimately mate another wolf. They were both unprepared to realize they were faded mates when they met. Despite being short, the novella was well written and included characters with dimension in a fun storyline. I am so glad to have gotten Tess’ story.
This isn't a reflection of the whole series, of which I'd give a 4 or 5. It's just my least favorite book in the series to listen to right now, and I'm willing to relisten to it later and try to rate again. There's some type of angst or resistance I'm missing here that was in the other books. Maybe this is countering the angst or obstacles the other books had to go through. If you are looking for where all of the other couples in this Vegas Mates series are in their lives, then this is definitely the book to visit...
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed getting to see all of the characters again. Tess is easy to relate to and I'm glad to finally meet Scott's brother. The story is short but sweet.
It was 2 short and there's alot of things missing from the x in Greece 2 now in this book. It's awesome that she from her mate and it was pretty fast. It's hard 4 her 2 leave her twin but at least fate gave them a good true thing 4 their future.
A DELIGHTFUL MERRY BEARY CHRISTMAS !!! Title: Unwrapping Tess: Christmas Encounter Series: Vegas Mates Designation: Book Five of Series Genre: Paranormal Romance Author: Krystal Shannan My Rating: FIVE DELICIOUSLY MERRY STARS***** I discovered Krystal Shannan in 2014 when I read My Viking Vampire, the first book of her Sanctuary, Texas Series and the rest, as they say, is history. I was instantly hooked on all things Krystal Shannan and her books became my new guilty pleasure. And now, a little over a year and quite a few releases later, I'm still addicted to Shannan's work. Unwrapping Tess is the fifth book in her Vegas Mates Series and another perfect example of her incredible imagination, remarkable talent and delightful style. And yes, I did say Book Five of a series but never fear, this is not a serial; it's a lovely standalone novella with its very own happily-ever-after. The narrative is well edited and exceptionally well written in the third person with his and her points of view. My favorite! Personally, I feel that a book with multiple points of view gives us so much more insight into not only the characters but the story as well. The dialogue is smart, sexy, well executed and flows effortlessly. And for the pièce de résistance - the characters. Yes, the book is sweet, exciting, seductive, romantic and well crafted, but it's the characters that are the heart and soul of this story. They are captivating, engaging, endearing, sexy, at times humorous and will capture not only your undivided attention but your heart as well. Yes, many of the characters in this book do appear in the other books of the series but that has no effect on your ability to follow this story. The author does a fabulous job of giving us sufficient backstory on the characters so that each book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. Shannan is one of those rare individuals who was born as a naturally gifted storyteller and she uses that gift to expertly craft an adorable paranormal Christmas tale filled to the brim enchanting magic, heated attraction, fiery passion, sweet romance, steamy, dreamy sex and of course, just a little angst. After all, this is a Krystal Shannan story and she's the undisputed queen of heartwarming romance. And we all know you can't have a great love story without including a little apprehension and heartache. Sigh....So dreamy! So buckle up, my lovelies, for another deliciously sweet and delightfully entertaining read from Krystal Shannan. Beautiful, indecisive, twenty-five-year-old city she-wolf who is a member of wolf royalty living in New York City but longs to return to peaceful country life, and find her wolf mate-check! (Who as it turns out is not a wolf! What?) Handsome, growly former Navy Seal grizzly bear-shifter who has just returned home to visit his brother from a stressful overseas tour of duty-check! An inner bear and inner wolf determined to have their mate-check! An unconventional match and a fated love that won't be denied-check! Heated attraction, steamy passion, a little heartache and sweet romance-you bet! What didn't I like? Not a darn thing! What did I love about this book? Everything! Would I recommend this book? You better believe it! Complimentary copy received in exchange for an honest review.

Once again Krystal Shannan demonstrates why she is known as one of the best paranormal authors out there, and I have to absolutely agree with the reviews. Unwrapping Tess was no exception from the rest of her novels; it was the emotional ride of proportions that you couldn’t deny: from laughter, sadness, arousal and the link of family, readers experience it with the characters. Tess is used to her life, but knows that something is missing, something that the wolf in her has been howling for – her mate – and she’s been searching and yearning for too long. When Patrick visits his brother, he’d hoped to relax after the last tour with his SEAL unit, only he never expected to find Tess, the gorgeous wolf who also happens to be his sister-in-law, nor to hear the bear in him claim her as his mate. Readers of the Vegas Mates series and the Somewhere Texas Saga series will absolutely enjoy this novel, which is the fifth novel in the Vegas Mates series. Recommended for certain, but for new readers, I’d still encourage familiarizing themselves with the series and the characters to decrease the chances of confusion. . **Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. UNWRAPPING TESS- BOOK 5-A captivating romantic Christmas holiday story.
The story focuses on; Tess Demakis, a sexy, sassy, beautiful wolf shifter from the New York Demakis pack; Patrick O'Hearn, a strapping blue-eyed, gorgeous bear shifter.
What you'll find in this story; the cast of characters are amazing impressive and engaging, fantastic story-line, fabulous picturesque and potent scene descriptions, humor, gripping suspense, life threatening incident, pent up rage, memories long since past, surprises, heated passion, sizzling heart-pounding romance, and a melt your heart conclusion that leaves you wanting more.
It's Christmas time at the Woodhaven Inn for family and pack members. Tess and her twin Hallie have come from New York to enjoy the holiday festivities. Tess misses Woodhaven with heart-felt passion; her wolf misses the life of running free in the forest of Woodhaven. Sometimes, Christmas gifts don't come in fancy wrapping paper!
SPECTACULAR fast paced well written read by a truly gifted author. I so love when an author does holiday stories; it gives a sense of warmth and authenticity to the story, making it more impressive. The characters are convincing, full of life and certainly praise-worthy. The chemistry between Tess and Patrick sparkles like Christmas twinkling lights. I loved this story a most gratifying read. If you treasure holiday shifter romance stories this is an excellent choice for your library. {I received a copy of this book for a completely honest review}. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations I highly recommend this book and the series.
Tess Demakis, unlike her twin sister Hallie, is not crazy about living in New York City; she much prefers the country. Tess is a wolf shifter, and the big city cramps her style, so she is delighted to spend the Christmas holidays at her brother-in-law’s country inn for paranormal guests. At 25, Tess is of age to find a mate, but she is yet to find a wolf shifter that appeals to her; besides she is shifter royalty. And the gloriously sexy Patrick O'Hearn is definitely not it: he is a bear shifter, and bear shifters are not allowed to shift in the big city. But it’s obvious when Tess and Patrick first meet, that they are destined to each other; all the signs, the electricity, the magick are there, but it could never work, could it?
What an excellent book! Krystal Shannan never ceases to amaze me! UNWRAPPING TESS is a novella, and yet there is a lot of material in there: romance, super sexy times, action, and a real Christmas atmosphere! Ms. Shannan’s shifter world is so meticulously constructed, that it all appears possible, and natural and there are again interesting spins on shifters. Patrick and Tess are both very engaging characters and their chemistry is off the charts, and even though there is that instant attraction, they really have to work at it.
I love Ms. Shannan’s writing: her prose is fluid and effortless, and the dialogues sound genuine. UNWRAPPING TESS is simply terrific! It’s a very enjoyable read that left me smiling and wishing for that kind of family Christmas!

Tess Demakis and her twin sister, Hallie, are on their way to Woodhaven Inn in Utah for the Christmas holiday. They are both royalty of a wolf pack and they live in New York. Tess loves going to Woodhaven ( which is owned and run by the O'Hearn family) to be able to shift and run whenever she wants. In New York they can't do that but about once a month. Hallie is being groomed to be the Alpha female and she is perfect for it. Tess wants nothing to do with it. Once they arrive at the Inn, they strip and RUN!! Oh the glorious feeling of being free!! Nicole & Sam, sisters to Tess & Hallie are there already. After their run they go inside and there Tess meets Patrick O'Hearn, brother to Scott O'Hearn. Patrick has just recently been discharged from the service. When they see each other, both are surprised to find that they have found their mates. Tess is shocked because she always thought she would mate with a wolf. Patrick is just as surprised but is excited about meeting his mate, although he sees the hesitation in Tess and wonders at it.
Will Tess accept Patrick (who is a bear), would her family give their blessing to such a match outside of the pack? You'll have to read the story for yourself to find out. Loved having the characters from the previous books making appearances, seeing how the families are faring and have grown. This book was a gift for an honest review.
'I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest reveiw'
When Tess goes to her to her aunts place in the mountains for the Holidays she realizes how much she missed it there. She loves the freedom to be able to shift and run. Problem is she also loves her home and her twin sister. So when she meets her mate her first day there she is shocked. Not only because of the suddenness of it but also because he is a bear shifter. She is wolf shifter Royalty. It won't be easy but she has never wanted anything more.
Patrick is a SEAL and is finally done with his Tour and ready to go home. He wasn't expecting a bunch of wolf shifters to be there though. He was hoping it would just be family. But then again he just happens to find his mate out of those shifters. He knows what he wants right away but it will take a little work on his part to convince Tess as she's not one to go against the rules.
My Opinion:
I have read this series from the beginning and have never been let down. This is no exception. It was a great addition to a great series! Bear shifters have become some of my favorite shifters thanks to this series! I'm glad that one of the twins finally got her story and I can't wait for the next one! I definitely recommend reading!!!
What a adorable story, very much suited for the holidays. I usually tend to stay away from the “sweet tooth books” but I've always enjoyed Krystal's stories. I haven't read all the series in this set, this is book 5, I think it could be read as a stand alone. Its short, sweet and to the point, for Patrick the bear, and Tess the wolf its straight all about the mating. Because of the past packs as splintered, packs has formed new pack with new additions of family and friends. Tess and Hallie (her twin) have been pretty much inseparable since birth. But even as twins they are totally different and want different things. One the fast lights of the city and the other the quiet freshness of the forest. When Patrick finally gets discharged from the Military and comes home the sparks between him and the cute little bond will totally fill his thoughts. Unwrapping Tess... she has to do things for her and her life not for anyone else, she will have to stand up for the choices she makes. I enjoyed Patrick and Tess' interaction, in such a short story how well they clicked was very good. It was fun, sweet and spontaneous. I'd recommend this to anyone that loves Ms Shannon s books and shifters. Enjoy
If you have not yet read the Vegas Mates series, and you are looking for a great holiday paranormal/shifter read - this may be just what you are looking for. Krystal Shannan did a great job of giving relationship details as needed to follow Tess's story. It wasn't a re-hashing of previous books, but just enough to help me a bit.
Tess is royalty in the wolf world, so she's a bit worried when she finds out that a bear is her fated mate. I loved the way the characters related to their animal - especially Tess. She had full converstaions with her wolf and they even seemed to have different personalities and goals at times. They truly were two creatures living as one. And when you throw a fated mate into the mix - well, her the animal side gets a bit vocal about having her way.
Patrick seemed to be the strong quiet type. He was fiercely protective, but didn't crowd Tess either. He let her come to her own conclusions and decisions - which was definitely a good move. There's a few dashes of excitement here and there - lots of hot sex - and tons of true love in this story. Add that little splash of Christmas magic and it is just perfect for the season.

A quick, fun and Christmassy read that brings me back into the world of Krystal Shannan’s Vegas Mates. Tess is ‘royalty’ from one of the leading families in Vegas, but she’s been making her way in New York City, living among humans and enjoying the thrum of the city. Christmas is a time to gather with family in an inn in Utah that caters to shifters of all sorts.
Tess never expected to be attracted to a shifter that wasn’t from her pack, or another wolf, but Patrick is not only a delicious specimen, he happens to be a bear shifter. The ‘order’ of things are changing since her sister Sam had matched up, and there is a redefinition of shifter society as they adjust to move into the new era.
And of course, the action never stops: the budding romance between Tess and Patrick is fun and well-defined, as neither had expected to find happiness, or the wholesale change that this chance for love may bring to their lives. Full of heart, some heat and plenty of Christmas spirit, this story is a fun return to check in with the characters of the Vegas Mates series.
I received an eBook copy of the title from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
Unwrapping Tess is Book 5 in Krystal Shannans Vegas Mates series.
Tess Demakis recently celebrated her 25th birthday and is now fully able to recognise her mate. She thought it would be instantaneous with one of the males from her Aunts New York pack, but no such luck. When she escapes to Woodhaven for the holidays, she looks forward to relaxing in the open air. What she gets, is another thing entirely.
Patrick O'Hearn has finally been discharged from a long tour overseas with his SEAL unit and is glad to be home, ready to enjoy the snowy mountain inn retreat his brother renovated last year, meet his brother's wife and some of her family, enjoy good food, etc. The last thing he ever expected was to find a mate, even if she is a wolf.
Will this be their best Christmas ever?
This instalment was a very cute holiday story. Very much about finding your mate when you least expect it and with whom. I was actually glad to see another wolf-grizzly pairing. And both Tess, Patrick and their inner animals were all great characters. It was good to see how the pack is getting on 2 years after the councils demise and the new dynamic of the hierarchy explained further. And also get another sneaky look at Jason, the Demakis original, and his unlikely partner.
In Unwrapping Tess, Krystal Shannan shares a sweet Christmas story of love. This book is part 5 of the series but can be read alone. Understanding who's who would be easier if you've read the other books but Ms. Shannan. does a great job of explaining the connection with each character. Tess is a wolf shifter. She is of the royal Damakis bloodline. She and her twin sister Hallie are being groomed to take over the New York pack. Thing is Tess doesn't like living in New York as much as Hallie does. Her wolf graves the outdoors. Tess loves her family especially her twin so she is willing to live in New York for her pack, that is until she meets her mate. Patrick is a Grizzly shifter. Everyone knows bears don't live in the city. In Unwrapping Tess Patrick and Tess meet and instantly feel the fated mate connection. Will the her family understand? Can they make it work? First Patrick must save her life before they can even worry about any of that. This is a sweet Christmas story full of family, laughter and cheer. I received an ARC of the book for my honest review. I can't wait to see what happens next in the Vegas pack series.
Tess who was Royalty, a Demakis, an alpha’s daughter, and a wolf shifter was being prepared to be alpha one day. She thought she would find a nice wolf and continue the line. Thing about life is things do not always happen as we picture it and not always a bad thing. What Tess was not expected was to find that a bear shifter was their fated mate. Her wolf loved the idea and wanted Tess to claim Patrick immediate.
Patrick who was a bear shifter knew the moment he laid eyes on Tess that she was their fated mate. His bear wanted him to go ahead and claim her. I loved how Tess talked with her wolf and Patrick talked to his bear. It always makes for an interesting story when the author includes such things.
Tess finds herself in need of being saved. Can only hope that someone will notice her missing or hear her howls and come to save her. Will someone get to Tess in time?
Tess needs to tell the Alpha’s about Patrick being her fated mate. She just does not want to jump in blindly. Because of her role in the pack it is very important to follow pack politics. How will the Alpha’s take the news?
Review for UNWRAPPING TESS I received this as a gift for an honest review It is the Christmas season and Tess and her twin sister, Hallie, have arrived in Utah for a visit with friends and family. It seems all of her family is there at the home of Scott O’Hearn, a bear shifter with a lodge that will be used for the celebrations. Scott is mated to a wolf named Margaret. She is surprised when she hears an unfamiliar voice. It turns out to be Patrick, Scott’s brother, who has recently returned home from serving his country. The attraction and pull between Tess and Patrick is enough to take their breath away, but Tess tries to fight it because she always thought she would mate with a wolf. Her being the daughter of an alpha, thus making her shifter royalty, she thought that is where her path would take her. She also knows that she will need the approval of her pack to leave them and mate with Patrick. It is not until Patrick saves her from a REAL bear attack, that Tess knows she can’t give up her fated mate. But will the holidays bring her what she wants most - approval from the pack and the chance to spend her life with the love of her life ??
Tess Demakis loves the city life, but not as much as her twin sister, Hallie. The mountains are more her speed, along with the ability to shift regularly. She does not want to rock the boat with her family and their presumptions of her place as royalty. After her and her twin sister's twenty-fifth birthday passes, she'd thought for sure one of the handsome men in her aunt's pack might've been meant for her. Patrick O'Hearn just got back home from a long tour overseas with his SEAL unit. The big grizzly is ready to lie back and enjoy the snowy mountain inn retreat his brother renovated last year, meet his brother's wife and some of her family, and enjoy good food. The last thing he ever expected was to find a mate, especially not his sister-in-law.
Tess must make the decision to accept Patrick as her mate. She battling between what feels right and what she feels is expected of her. Patrick is happy to have found his mate and will stand up to anyone who says otherwise. Another great read to this series.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
At the family get together for the holidays, Tess meets the male that’s meant for her, Patrick O’Hearn, Will family get in the way or will this be the best Christmas ever in this charming paranormal holiday romance.
The holidays add a magical air to the charm of this fast paced and smooth flowing romance. The attraction between Tess and Patrick burns hot from the very first meeting and the sex scenes are scorching hot and the reader can’t help but get caught up in their captivating romance especially as Tess’s family and pack could put a stop to the mating. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination while the passion and suspense draw the reader deeper into the story.
The wonderful characters from the Vegas Mates series are back with a holiday story that warms the heart on those cold nights. While I wish I could have spent more time with Tess and Patrick, I was completely caught up in the story and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series…maybe it will be Hallie’s.
I have read all the books in the Vegas Mates series prior to this, so I was psyched to receive a complimentary copy of Unwrapping Tess in exchange for a honest review. This is a holiday romance that is short, sweet and hot. The focus of the story is on Tess Demakis, a wolf shifter and Patrick O’Hearn, a bear shifter. Patrick had returned home to spend time with his brother during the Christmas holidays. While on his visit he met Tess. The moment these two laid eyes on each other; they knew that they had found their mate. Now, based on my experience with this author’s work, I was hoping for an exciting read filled with intrigue, drama and mystery. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I found it difficult to connect with the characters. I felt that the story was rushed and not enough time was spent developing the characters. The highlight of the story is the main characters meeting and eventually sealing their bond. Overall, for me this was an ok read. Inspite of my disappointment with this installment Ms. Shannan will still remain as one of my must read authors.
