Authors: Jade Kerrion, Chantel Rhondeau, Rachelle Ayala, Lyssa Lane, Michele Shriver, P.C. Zick, K.S. Thomas, Stacy Eaton, Melinda Curtis, Jennifer Saints, and Julie Leto
Jade Kerrion, an award-winning author, got her start in fan fiction. She developed a loyal reader base with her fan fiction series based on the MMORPG Guild Wars. She was accused of keeping her readers up at night, distracting them from work, housework, homework, and (far worse), from actually playing Guild Wars.
And then she wondered why just screw up the time management skills of gamers? Why not aspire to screw everyone else up too? So here she is, writing books that aspire to keep you from doing anything else useful with your time.
She lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her wonderfully supportive husband and her two young sons, Saint and Angel, (no, those aren't their real names, but they are like saints and angels, except when they're not.)
The Heroes to Swoon For box set, gives readers the chance to read 11 different romance books, each by a different author. I had no problem reading and finishing this box set and I thought it included some real good romances. Each story was well written and included characters that were likeable and interesting. My top 3 favorites in this box set are Aroused by Jade Kerrion, Second Shield by Stacy Eaton, and Amber Rules by Melinda Curtis. All 11 stories are worth the read and all together in one box set is a great deal.
I loved these stories, they were all fantastic. I particularly love the ones by Jade Kerrion and Chantelle Rhondeau. It is not the normal genre I read so was pleasantly surprised that I loved them all.
I highly recommend this set of novels and stories and I look forward to reading more by these authors.
This set has a hero for everyone. And all the troubles and trials to go with them.
In these stories we meet a model, a playboy, a firefighter, baseball player, basketball player, artists, and musicians. When they become enthralled with their ladies, the sparks fly high and the tension mounts. Will the heroes and heroines be able to overcome their issues and be able to be together? Every story is unique in its and kept me reading on to the next one. With authors that are well known time and some new ones, I was extremely happy to have read these. If you want to spend a few passion filled, suspense filled nights reading, then these are the books for you.
I already couldn't resist because of the authors in the lineup. One I fangirl over and the others I'd heard much about but was never able to read their work. Now I have another ten writers' novels to watch out for.
There is a terrific mix of romances here and none, I repeat, none are dragging or boring. There was one whose blurb I was doubting for possibly being a bit ditzy but I ended up laughing all by my lonesome. When I read an variation of a popular self-help book being quoted by a clueless heroine, I also about sent my own grocery list of hopes and dreams out to the universe. That was so much fun!
And it wasn't the only one. Each novel is completely different and is interesting in its own way. Whether it's a sweetheart romance or a scorching hot love story, every plot and premise holds its own. Of course you know that the hero and heroine end up together but the paths they travel are unique. One in particular had main characters that were out of the norm with settings that weren't the usual. I wondered whether the description of the convent was first hand, since I'd visited one almost the same, except for the iron grills. Although, I lived the city where it's supposed to be located for quite a few years and it wouldn't be a surprise at all to me if they were needed for security purposes.
It definitely lives up to its title. Each hero is worth swooning over for entirely different reasons, beginning with an unusual male escort and ending with a brooding musician. Even the struggling art student is a perfect gentleman. Let's not forget the superstar athletes, the demigod fireman, alpha security officer, the bad boy tattooist, the crazily cute singer, and the cop whose secrets have secrets. Not a wonder all those women were stunned. Can anyone say panty-dropping males?
There is something I truly hate with this collection. I don't have a favorite. After I finish one, it's my favorite - until I get to the next book. Then my opinion changes. Again. By the novella at the end, they were all my favorites. Sigh.
I have to thank all the authors for giving me a copy of Heroes To Swoon For for my terribly early Christmas gift! That is what it's perfect for: dreaming the hours away during a romantic holiday time. Maybe I'll be going through this again on Valentine's Day? I think so.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. I haven't had a chance to read all of the stories yet, so I will post reviews for the ones I have finished and then add to my review as I finish more. I have been skipping around so they aren't in order.
Amber Rules - Mel Curtis This was a great fast-paced story. The characters were great and really worked well together. Throwing a life coach who doesn't want to be a life coach with an NBA player needing coaching who doesn't want coaching, and adding in a gossip columnist and drama filled siblings is a great recipe for excitement. I really enjoyed how Amber grew and learned about herself and her father throughout the story. I'm really looking forward to reading Blue's story as well.
Blazing Love by Chantel Rhondeau Laura is dealing with panic attacks after her fiancé was killed in the line of duty as a police officer the night before their wedding seven years ago. Thane is a firefighter who is so attracted to Laura and her love of animals that he has been pestering her for a date for months. I really enjoyed this story. The way Laura and Thane worked together to overcome the past guilt and pain of their lives was beautiful. I was on the edge of my seat trying to get to the end to figure out who the arsonist in town was that was starting all of the fires. This was a wonderful story. I had never read anything by this author before, but I will definitely be checking out other books by her now.
11 books, authors and heroes! What's not to love? I am that person that totally judges a book by it's cover. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to but I do. I don't read reviews, blurbs or sneaks of the book because I love the surprise of falling in love with an unknown character and living the story as I read it. I don't want to know what happens, and if you are like me, you don't either! Don't worry! I won't tell you!
But...I will tell you, this book is full of such great story lines, they aren't the ones that have been done over and over again and I love them for that alone. Add in the hot guys and main ladies and it leaves you wanting each and every one to get their happily ever after.
Be ready for some love, laughter and experiences you don't find in other books.
I have read one of the authors for a while now but the others were new to me and now I'm excited to have more authors to look forward too.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
Wow, just Wow. Soooo many book boyfriends to choose from in this set of eleven amazing stories! It's kind of hard to pick your favorite, and yeah, I can't choose just one! This set is filled with tears, drama, love triangles, happiness, fear, and so much hotness your readers will be hot to the touch(so be careful). Eleven authors that will blow you away with their swoon worthy men coming to the rescue of their girls hearts to forever be claimed as his and his alone. A warning ladies you will not want to do anything when you start to read this, so please make sure that you block off enough time to consume the set in it's entirety, cuz that's what I did! I am working on a romance high right now and let me tell you it is the BEST!!! Bravo Ladies a huge success!!!
This is a fantastic collection of contemporary romances! Where else are you able to get nine full length novels, one novella AND 1 short story by 11 Best Selling Authors but here!?! I mean HELLO?!?! You get everything from firemen to policemen, motorcycle racers to athletic trainers, artists to athletes, heck even an escort makes an appearance!! If you love contemporary romances then this is the set for you! Some are hot, some are sweet, some a little of both but they are ALL GREAT STORIES!!! If you are anything like me then you will love these Happily Ever Afters even if they take what seems like FOREVER to get to! I laughed and cried right along with the characters, felt sorry for them, felt hopeful FOR them and swooned for all of their heroes. The one part that I could say for ALL of these stories is that you need to be prepared for “real life” stories. I mean these men all have real jobs – firemen, policemen etc. that have real danger in their jobs. In one story I could completely relate to the poor gal who was falling for a fireman but because of her past relationship there was no way she wanted to even entertain a relationship with him!! So much of these stories have that relatable edge to them. I did find that this is what made these stories so great but at the same time, they are so real I feel so wrung out after reading them! I tend to get so absorbed into my stories and become part of the characters so I feel EVERYTHING they do! Of course that does also prove just how talented these authors truly are when you can become one with the stories! I can’t wait to read more stories from some of these authors!! All in all – a great collection and assortment of romance that you do not want to miss out on!
I received the anthology, “Heroes to Swoon For”, with a total of 11 authors and 2672 pages. It took me 5 days to read my copy and I enjoyed every moment. There were times where I could not put the book down. I regretted the interruptions of daily life staying hours past normal bedtime to finish parts of a storyline. The titles, Aroused, Blazing Love, Roaring Hot, The Right Pitch, The Art of Love, Behind the Altar, Lost Avalon, Second Shield, Amber Rules, Wild Irish Ride, and How You Remind Me, draw the reader into the story and the first paragraph by each author then captures each reader into not wanting to put the book down until the last line is done. While it would be too cumbersome to review each story individually, the authors brought together in this anthology were all excellent in their depiction of character depth, storyline, and ability to engage the reader. The writing was phenomenal with the ability to visualize scenes from the story with each author’s word use. I would highly recommend this anthology. I have already looked up many of the authors and ordered some of their individual books.
What is better than all the smoking hot men you could need in one convenient place? The Heroes to Swoon For has 11 great stories at you disposal.
There is everything from a cop, motorcycle racer, fireman, tattoo artist, to my favorite, baseball player. All the books were full of romance. There is definitely something for everyone.
Every book was interesting and kept me turning the pages. The women were are all unique and their love interests were to die for. There was a lot of tension, laughter, sadness, and some laughs.
I definitely recommend this box set. I will even look up more books written by these talented authors to read.

This boxed set of 11 stories is full of swoon worthy heroes. They range from models, fire fighters, athletes, military, law enforcement to rock stars. Couldn't ask for more than that. I love the variety of stories that are included in this collection and the fact that most of them are full length books instead of teasers or novellas. Most of the authors are new to me so getting to know different writer's work has been a lot of fun. I will definitely be adding a few to my regular reading list. If you are looking for swoon worthy reads this collection will be a great choice.
I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
Heroes To Swoon For is just what I wanted. The boxed set has eleven romantic stories by eleven talented authors. It made me one very happy reader. I enjoyed Behind The Alter by P. C. Zick which was touching and romantic but had a heartbreaking twist that shocked me. I enjoyed the suspenseful romance of Blazing Love by Chantel Rhondeau. Amber Rules by Melinda Curtis was a story that combined romance and a sexy N.B.A. player and self-help expert who find more than they expected. I found all the stories were truly sizzling and sexy. I loved this set. It had stories that fit all my desires. For readers of contemporary romances, this set is a treasure.
Dec 2014. Didn't read all of these. Some good ones in there though. (The romances weren't that great in any of them--from a romance reader. Less is more= my advice there.) Mel Curtis stands out as an author.
This box set has something for everything. Every story keeps getting better and better. Some of them aren't my normal reading but i still enjoyed reading.
Wow - what an amazing box set of heroes!! This set is incredible from start to finish and I could not get enough!! I even sent a message to one of the authors making sure there was going to be a sequel!! I loved these books and I highly recommend reading the box set!! I wrote the review with no spoilers and I can't say enough about how much I loved these books!!!

Not the type of heroes I was expecting, but still good stories
For the boxed set, 4 1/2 stars. Each book varied quite a bit and each are rated and reviewed below. HEROES TO SWOON FOR: Aroused 5* Great book. I loved the storyline. I love a book that make me feel emotion like giggling out loud or crying. This book made me feel emotions because I was attached to the characters. Good job Jade Kerrion. Blazing Love 4 1/2* Firefighters are not my forte, but this was in a boxed set so I read it. The first 2-3 chapters were slow going but once I hit chapter 3-4, I had a hard time putting the book down. I enjoyed the story. Roaring Hot! 4 3/4* I would not normally read this book from the synopsis; however, since it was a book in a boxed set, I read it. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. I did not want to like this book but I was drawn into it, and could not put it down! The only reason I did not give the book five stars is because I felt there was the unanswered question about the diamond necklace and earrings. I wanted Amy to know about them; what happened to them after Teo gave them to her? Just my two cents. Great job Rachelle Ayala! The Right Pitch 4 1/2* I'm not a baseball fan. If this book was not included in a boxed set, I probably never would have read it. It was a good book; once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. The book did leave a couple of questions unanswered. I did feel that the last few chapters and the epilogue were a little rushed. I wish the author put more detail and storyline in those last chapters. The Art of Love 3 1/2* The storyline was cute but there were flaws that I could not overlook. The book was hard to read through missing or misspelled words; too many to let slide on a review. The bedroom scene was a little quick for me; it felt too rushed (kind of like when a man leaves you hanging; you just want more). A piece of the story was never revealed. Again leaving the reader hanging, wanting questions answered. Sorry, but this book needed a little more work before it was published. Behind the Alter 5* This was a good story. Not everyone can tell a story like this one. I purchased this book in a boxed set. With the title of the book, I expected a different type of story; I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading the rest of the series. Lost Avalon 4 1/2 stars. What a good storyline to touch on the subjects of addiction and schizophrenia. The only thing I would mark the book down for is the sex scenes. I prefer more details; some do, some don't, but I do. The author did a good job otherwise. Second Shield 4* I did not get into this book right away. I did not like the fact that I was reading one chapter on Mack and then in the next chapter rereading what happened from the viewpoint of Drew. It was very slow starting out. About halfway into the book it started getting interesting. This book was starting at two to three stars. The reason I give it four stars is because the book made me feel strong emotions and I couldn't put it down after that. I should give it three and a half stars though because I felt it ended in a cliffhanger. I don't like cliffhangers. Amber Rules 5* Great book! I was not excited to read it at first. It came in a boxed set so I felt I should read it; I was pleasantly surprised. The more I read, the more I wanted to read! It was a sizzler also and that made the book even better! I did not want the book to end. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. Wild Irish Ride 5* I did not have to get through the first few chapters to get into this book. This book grabbed me from the start! I personally liked all the sensual scenes. It still had a storyline to it, even though there were a lot of sexual encounters in this book. Wild Irish Ride was not what I was expecting but I throughly enjoyed it. How You Remind Me 3* Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of novellas & short stories I don't think a story can be fully explored within 250 pages or less. This book attempted but I still felt it lacking. I wanted more from the characters that I did not get. I purchased this book within a boxed set, and this book was one of a couple that did not fill my literarily needs.
What a great set of romance books. I found many authors that I had not heard of before but am looking forward to reading more of.
Not all the books here had what I would call "Hero's" but they all did have hunky men that will make your mouth water and squirm in your seat as you read it.
These books had a wide variety of stories. There was intrigue, mystery, heart ache, deception, suspense, romance, and hot sexy men!
All of these books can be read as stand alones. There were a few books that needed to be more closely edited because they were loaded with lots of errors (spelling, grammar, missing words, etc.) It caused the story to bog down because I would need to go back and re read what I had read to get back into the flow of the story.
All in all though, this was a great set and I am happy that I have found even more authors to follow now.
Would I recommend this book? Absofreakinlutely!!!
Would I read more from these Authors? Yepper!! I am looking forward to it!
This is a good collection of books that has something for every reader. The stories include a woman who does not know if she can risk her love for a man who risks his life for others, a police officer who works with her ex and is attracted to the "new kid on the block" in her department, a woman who falls for a stripper but not sure if he should be around her daughter, the "girl next door" who manages for long-time friend's rock band but anno watch him continue down the path of self-destruction, and more. They books range from contemporary romance to the hot and heavy passionate love scenes.
I thoroughly enjoyed every single book in this set. I honestly can't tell you which one was my favorite, I loved them all. I do wish the last book was a bit longer. I also hope that there will be more to McKenzie and Drew's story. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review, which in no way influenced my opinion of this book set. I hope you find them to be every bit as captivating as I did.
Sometimes you're just in the mood for some deep sigh, sweep me off my feet romance. This collection does not disappoint! Pretty much every story had the right mix of challenged women meeting strong, supportive men, and a sizzling attraction between them. And these stories had complex challenges. These women are dealing with conflicts over jobs and families and crazy life situations - it's a good thing they've got handsome heroes just waiting to lend a hand!
For the price of .99 this was a great by. There was a male model that was mistaken for a male escort,a firefighter,a motorcycle racer,a baseball player, lead singer of a rock band,an undercover FBI agent,an Irishmen, another rock band on top of all of that there was drugs, child molestation, jealousy, envy, bribery, attempted murder. I would have rated this a 5 but there was one book that was pure torture. It was The Hollywood Rule Book by Mel Curtis. It was long and boring.
I may not have actually swooned, but boy did I drool. I had to have a towel with me at all times and though I felt the first story needed another chapter before the ending for it to make sense to me fully the rest was pure euphoria.
I really enjoyed this box set my favorite is The Right Pitch by Lyssa Layne. If you are looking for hot heroes this is the box set. You will not be disappointed.
Fantastic collection filled with some amazingly sizzling hot romances. I haven't had a chance to read all of them but the ones I have made this worth the price! I highly recommend this set.
