She has published six books, the three volume Chronicles of Anna, a contemporary time travel/reincarnation fantasy, Wingspan and Skyfall, gryphon shifter romances and her science fiction romance Constant.
She’s a recent fan of Aussie spec fiction and loves finding unusual stories set in common places. And watches too much true crime on TV. She used to ride a crotch rocket, silver with blue flames, a sweet ride. Her summer writing den has a view of the mountain in the background of the train scene in the new Godzilla movie. So far no rumours the view has affected her writing. She has several novels in the works, stay tuned.

Constant by Elizabeth Munro is an exciting blend of action-packed science fiction, romance, and suspense that keeps you engaged from start to finish. The story follows Rye, a dedicated Core Alliance soldier, who is haunted by the loss of his love, Angel, who died six years ago—until fate brings her back into his life, very much alive but with secrets of her own.
The characters in this book are well-developed, and the chemistry between Rye and Angel is palpable. Rye is a strong, no-nonsense leader who is deeply conflicted as he uncovers more about Angel's mysterious past. Angel, in turn, is a complex character, torn between her desire for vengeance and her need to protect the life she now leads. Their reunion is emotional and full of tension, both romantic and otherwise, as they are forced to navigate a dangerous world filled with secrets, betrayal, and the ever-present threat of the Aphids.
The world-building in Constant is one of its strongest points. Munro does an excellent job of crafting a futuristic universe where soldiers are genetically enhanced and aliens pose a constant threat. The mix of military sci-fi and personal drama makes for a gripping read, with the fast-paced action complementing the more emotional moments.
The supporting cast adds depth to the story, with a variety of characters that bring humor, loyalty, and intrigue to the narrative. Rye's team members, including his twin brother Tong and the tough medic Scarlet, are well-written and contribute to the story’s dynamics, but it’s the dark, menacing Aphids and Angel’s mysterious brother that truly add a sense of danger.
While the book is compelling and fun, I do wish the story had a bit more depth in certain areas, particularly regarding Angel’s backstory and the larger conflict with the Aphids. Some of the plot points felt a bit rushed, and I would have liked to see more exploration of the political and personal consequences of the characters’ actions.
Overall, Constant is a thrilling and heartfelt read, especially for those who enjoy sci-fi romances with strong characters and a dose of mystery. The ending leaves room for a sequel, and I’m definitely interested in seeing where Munro takes these characters next. Highly recommended for fans of sci-fi thrillers with a romantic twist!

"Constant" which I won through Goodreads/First Reads is an action-packed science fiction thriller with a large dollop of romance that begins after a fatal Core mission to gather Aphid intel leaves one soldier severely injured and the Comms Officer dying. For six years Rye, the team leader has been haunted by a sense of inadequacy, failure and guilt after the woman he loved and presumed dead was placed indefinitely in cryo. Now on assignment to Whistler, British Columbia he's floored to learn that Angel's body was not only revived, put back together, but continues her fight against the Aphids. Angered and bitter that she never contacted him during that time, Rye arrests the woman he's always loved, intending to return her to Core. But when she reveals an incredible but dangerous secret, Rye agrees to take Angel home to the quiet, hidden community that brought her a promise of life and hope for the future.
Elizabeth Munro sets the stage with Core Alliance soldiers who have been modified genetically to enhance their strength, speed and sight in a war against an alien species- the Aphids. Rye's a third generation whose implants eliminate the need for drugs or therapy to enhance his performance while Angel is first generation, born of civilian parents. Normally Rye would not be paired with a first generation female, but for over six months they've become discreetly intimate, their feelings growing in intensity. When Angel tells Rye she loves him it triggers his uncertainty and wariness, until with her loss on their mission to Constant he recognizes the depth of his feelings.
As events unfold that have Rye reuniting with Angel at Whistler, suspense and tension mounts as they not only clash with the deadly Aphids, but have to avoid Core leadership on The Barrington, and return to the quiet community where the best part of themselves is hidden from prying eyes. The plot is fast-paced and intoxicating from the first page to the last as wills clash and secrets from Angel's past are uncovered that will change both their lives forever. Even at the end after an explosive confrontation Elizabeth Munro leaves questions unanswered and smoothly opens the way for a sequel.
In an imaginative and well-written story, Elizabeth Munro has created unforgettable characters like Rye commander of the Titan, an efficient and arrogant warrior who lost his heart to his first generation Comms Officer. A by-the-book, duty-oriented officer, he's tenacious in his resolve to protect Angel and a child for years he never knew existed. Angel haunted by her inability to protect her brother Allen from the Aphids joined the Core to exact vengeance; her job, data storage. Although she tries to ignore her love for Rye their passion soon flares. But Angel's also a loving, conscientious mother determined to protect her daughter even if it means denying her heart. Four year old Quinn is innocent and brave; a brilliant linguist who adores her mother and father but is coveted by the Core and the Aphids.
Included among the other characters who add the odd slice of humor, spice and drama to the story are Rye's tough and driven twin Tong; the frank and clever medic Scarlet; the no-nonsense and diligent intelligence officer Sesia; morale up-lifter and engineer Atom, as well as the reserved, authoritative Denman, Core leader on The Barrington. But it's the cold, unemotional Aphids, and the bitterness and cruelty of Angel's half-Aphid brother Allen who add a darkly sinister menace to the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed "Constant" and hope this is only the first in a series that I would definitely follow.

This was my first Syfy romance and I quite enjoyed it. Angel and Rye pulled me quickly into their lives. A good book.
