Length: 22,000 words takes place in the same world as "Memories and Marco"
There is heartbreak and sadness in this story because of the historic time period and the bullies. There are always people who prey upon others in one way or another. Even today there are predators against whom we are defenseless. The sadness caused me to put the book aside but yesterday I found it again and continued reading. I'm glad that I did; the ending made it worthwhile. It brought an unexpected glistening of tears to my eyes. It's a lovely story.
Takes place in the same magical world as Jude's Magic, Memories and Marco, etc. But there's not really any magic in it. Sorry. They're just sort of regular guys.
