Who am I? I’m every woman’s worst nightmare. A taker of lives. You can call me Lucifer.
Luc “Lucifer” Bontrager is a nomad in Lucifer’s Legion Motorcycle Club. Traveling chapter to chapter, he brings in big money kidnapping women, training them and selling them over the border. He’s heartless, brutal and all business.
And then he meets his match.
Lilith. Every man’s worst nightmare. A taker of lives. A sociopath on the run.
Inked up with satanic symbols and verses, she’s fearless and completely insane. Luc can’t train her, he sure as hell can’t ship her over the border to the cartel boss waiting for her, and—for the first time in his life—he can’t bring himself to put a bullet in her head either.
She’s his worst regret.
Her words and cold, calculating eyes haunt him. She’s the devil on his shoulder, reminding him of all his sins. He should’ve killed her when he had the chance, because when the unthinkable happens and Luc falls for the young, innocent girl he’s training, Lilith seeks her revenge, targeting the only girl he’s ever wanted to keep as his own.
“I’m every woman’s worst nightmare. A taker of lives.”
“A trainer of slaves. You can call me Lucifer.”
Lilith
I see you. I know you. I am you.
Seriously WTF, I have no clue how to rate this, I think I'll go halfway, because me not liking it was no fault of the author just me and how I took the story in. It sounded like my kind of fucked up read ... but it has me freaking the fuck out, because seriously what is wrong with me, is it really not that dark or is it that my dark-o-meter is on the fritz again ???
I loved Lilith (for the very short time she was in the story), she was freaking twisted and had the whole mysterious-psycho-demon chick going for her, but Luc, he didn't show me any of his bad-assness at all and was disappointed in his non-delivery of his "worst nightmare, trainer of slaves" promise. So much promise in him and he let me down, NOW it could be that it's still early since this is another serial, I'm just trying to decide if I wanna continue or wait and see, if anything I would read it all because of Lilith... decisions, decisions...
Lilith (Lucifer's Legion Motorcycle Club #1) By Kelli Maine
The Lucifer's Legion series has a total of four novella's, each being released **every three weeks**:
Lilith Out now Nomad December 1, 2014
**WARNING THIS IS A DARK READ, ON THE DARK METER READ A 8 OF 10 SCALE**
Holy Smokes this one is HOT. Warning, not for the faint at heart. Lovers of dirty, dark, ill repute , oh and MC books ....get ready you will love this series. I mean look at that damn cover? The original cover was taken off of Amazon and had to be replaced.
Lucifer's MC has chapters throughout the country, this story takes place in the Southwest closest to their best clients, the Cartel. They are in the export business and never miss a deliver date.
Though Luc is in Lucifer's MC he is his own man, what fellow brothers call a nomad. Nothing ties him down to one location or any one person. He owes nothing to no one, and that's just the way he likes it. Luc is hard , rough, thick, dirty, and real. He has a job to do and he does it, sure he is aware of what has to be done but it's just a job, no more no less. No job is too dirty, hell the dirtier the better. He isn't here for the easy work, it's the way he earns his patches and respect of the other chapters in the club all of which allows him to continue his run as a nomad.
FREE.
Lilith Derived from Akkadian lilitu meaning "of the night". This was the name of a demon in ancient Assyrian myths. In Jewish tradition she was Adam's first wife, sent out of Eden and replaced by Eve because she would not submit to him. The offspring of Adam and Lilith were the evil spirits of the world.
The craziest, most messed up, dirtiest, scary tattoo wearing, and the absolute worst decision Luc has ever made enters. In mere minutes Luc realizes Lilith is a huge mistake and is ready to remedy this. I personally have not read another character in a book like her. The first book in the series though named after her doesn't actually have many scenes which include her. Extra scenes aren't needed, her presence is so strong and influential it influences the entire installment, thus the name.
There are many innocent and not so innocent victims along the way, no matter when there's a job to be done. Luc looks into Lilith's eyes and he KNOW'S he has met his match, or worse pure evil.
I see you. I know you. I am you.
Every now and then you just need grime, grit, and nasty. So settle down in the dark with your E-Reader just when the mood is right. This series will be your dirty little guilty pleasure.
I read this in one sitting and for the life of me I could not put this sick twisted read down, and I still really have no idea what in the hell I read!!
I found the beginning hard to get into and connect with the story but am I glad I persevered!! Now it's a waiting game for book 2!! A very brave author to touch on the taboo dark twisted side of kidnapping and slavery at it's worst..
I see you I know you I am you Soul of my Soul, Lucifer
What's your name? I ask her. When I get patched for her murder, I want to be able to put a name to this hit. Lilith she says Every man's worst nightmare. Taker of lives. Demon of the night
I've killed in cold blood, over loyalty, revenge but I couldn't kill her ~ Lucifer
Even after a few days this book has stayed in my mind, it was breathtaking with how unique and different to any other book I have read to date..It's dark, twisted and like a train wreck waiting to happen it's damn hard to put down!!
This is a fairly short read and that's because the story isn't complete and ends on a cliffhanger. This book made me think that my life could change on a dime if someone decided to kidnap me and turn me into a sex slave. Crazy but shit like this happens in real life. Not sure how these women can remain sane after something like this.
Luc was an interesting character. He's supposedly this badass biker but then he becomes a big old pussy at times. It was entertaining. The sex was hot. I hate saying that but if you have a thing for rape fantasies then this might do it for you. I'm glad we can all enjoy make believe and not want make believe to happen in real life.
I am interested in how the next book plays out but it is kinda shitty to split up a story into four books and charge your readers an arm and a leg.
I really did not know how to rate this. I was between 4 stars and 5 but I decided to give it 5 stars simply because I was left deeply disturbed after I finished this. For a dark read this did its job perfectly. It shows the reality of human trafficking from the bad guy's point of view. If you are looking for romance, this is not your book. This book was raw, dirty, creepy and brutal. It left me confused because I still don't know what to make of Luc, our main protagonist. I have read MC books but this is a genre on its own. Cannot wait to read the next part. 5 Stars for being real and not sugarcoating abduction and abuse.
This is my first novel from this author and it won't be the last. I received this early copy on a winning giveaway and thank God for that because this novel was great. Saying this novel is dark, is an understatement , this book is dark black. Luc is one son-of-a-bitch, really in want to like and I do in some aspect but he is so bad, dark, and almost evil. And Lilith this girl is crazy!!!, and a mystery. Oh and that tattoo, who does that.
Really a great read and also I'm a sucked for novels with male point of view so this is a plus, can wait for next one to see what happens to Luc next.
I can't even decide what to rate this shit! I got sucked in at the devil tat on Lilith. Thought it was going to be good. I was so wrong. lol Maybe the next book. Who knows. I'm not sure I can handle seeing BABE in a sentence one more time!! I'm telling myself to forget the Devil tat with the horns and red mouth!!
A dark read that had me wondering if I should really like the MC or not. Sometimes I found myself feeling things that I shouldn't be feeling. This book is great and I can't wait for the next book or books to come out. It was like the car accident that you don't want to look at, but can't help but stare. I won't give anything away because I hate those types of reviews but if you love the dark and mysterious then you will love Lucifer.
Unfortunately I can't really say much about this one because I'm still confused on wtf I just read? So at first I though Luc found his match in Lilith, the psycho demon lover but now he wants the innocent girl in the basement he has been training to submit? WTF?
While the subject matter may be unsavory - DAMN THIS WOMAN CAN WRITE! Holy hell. I couldn't put Lilith down. It's batshit-crazy-fucked-up, but I couldn't wait to get the next installment. Definitely a dark MC read, so beware.
Lilith was very short. Short on story, character's not so well developed, allot of sex.
It was the character of Lilith that attracted me, and I really like her and her special brand of crazy. I'll probably check out the next installment if it's reasonably priced because this ended on a cliffhanger and I want to see where things are going with Lilith.
I really enjoy the theme of the bad guys getting bested by an even badder guy when they least expect it and I admit to hoping for lots of gratuitous violence on Lilith's part. I almost think Luc is being set up as a somewhat sympathetic character but I don't feel he's redeemable and I really, really want to see Lilith clean his clock on a biblical level along with the rest of the LLMC. May not go that way, in which case I'll be sorely disappointed.
I don't get the budding "romance" (if you can call it that, which you really can't) between Luc, who's suddenly developing a soft spot for the new "bitch" he's kidnapped and is training to be a sex slave for a member of the Mexican cartel. I also don't get the mindset of the kidnap-ee - I think he's calling her Angel? - "I'm not afraid of you, you won't hurt me", Really? Not the sharpest crayon in that box.
At this point it could go either way; if it goes towards redemption and romance I'm out. If it goes towards Lilith rooting around in Luc's entrails like a pig hunting for truffles and then hanging him by them while she lays waste to the rest of club - then I'm getting the popcorn and in for the duration.
I realize that this is only part one and there's more to come but there was just too much going on in this book without resolution. ***********Mild Spoilers and I say mild bc I don't know enough to give anything away************ We were fed little pieces without enough detail to get by. There's Lilith (psycho girl) who is stolen, let go, and reappears. Did she kill her parents, does she really know Luc, is she responsible for the van, what are the burn scars from, what caused the crazy, and how did she make it out of the desert alive? Then there's the new slave. Why does Luc feel an affinity for her, why is she so special, will he give her up to the cartel, etc, etc? Plus, instead of spending time training her (valuable time since he only has a week), we get descriptions of long motorcycle rides because he needs a break. I get wanting to to leave some unanswered questions for the next book in the series but, come on, you gotta work with me here.
As someone else said, what the f did I just read??? With that out of the way, this short book was about a mc that deals in human trafficking. More to the point, they abduct young women and train them to be sex slaves for scary people (cartel types). The nomad who trains (lucifer) is a very interesting character. The author has a good foundation to build on with him. The sex stuff was hawt! Really really liked Lucifer's training methods (special wink - no spoilers!). So why only three stars? Book has solid potential and some interesting characters. The motorcycle club piece lacks in credibility in places. I think it would also be interesting to add a pov from another character - like either randy or the quiet/meek chick. I'll read the next installment just to see where the author goes with this.
What a crazy-ass read, and I emphasize CRAZY. I enjoyed the DARKNESS and DEVIANCE of this book. What does that say about me? It says that I'm one crazy mother-effer…something I've known forever Pick up this book and get to know Lucifer and Lilith…two CRAZIER mother effers!
Really liked this book not a long wait for book to it needs to hurry up i wanna know what happens dark in places but one hell of a ride. Who am I? I’m every woman’s worst nightmare. A taker of lives. A trainer of slaves. You can call me Lucifer.

Kelli Maine has combined two of my favorite genres into one awesome Dark MC series. At the beginning of the book we are introduced to Lilith and Lucifer (Luc). Luc is part of a Motorcycle Club and is in charge of of training women to sell as sex slaves. It's his specialty. "Not many of us can accept the darkness inside; that's why they leave this shit to me.I am fuckin darkeness.A fuckin' shadown man." Lilith is taken "Say goodbye to life as you know it, bitch. You're mine now." It turns out she is pure evil. Luc knows from the start that Lilith is not right for his club's plans. He decides to get rid of her however she gets under his skin and he leaves her alive. Luc has a hard time forgetting about Lilith. "I see you. I know you. I am you. If it's true, then it's a fuckin tragedy. Nobody should be like me." The club still has a deadline too meet and needs a replacement. The club finds a replacement and begins her training. Luc is her trainer and only has a week to get her ready before she's sold. Luc starts to develop feeling for her and finds away to push them down. At the end Lilith reappears with a message. Now we wait to find out what that messages really means. This is great start to the series. I couldn't put it down. I needed to know where the plot was heading. I need more crazy, evil Lilith! This story is dark and dangerous, and the MC proves to the worst of it's kind.

No idea, seriously. Luc trains kidnapped girls for a motorcycle club to sell to Mexican drug lords. Okay, then we meet Lilith, who they kidnapped, well she's bat shit crazy and a devil worshiper so they let her go but not before she connects with Luc and blows him in the desert. You know, because that happens, and then he doesn't kill her but leaves her. Then another kidnapped girl comes in and he falls for her, or something it's weird. Okay, now I'm thinking, wtf happened to Lilith, you know, the chick the book is NAMED after. Anyway, this other useless chick is suddenly who he falls for and turns into a total puss. She is one dimensional. We don't get her POV or what she's thinking, she's a filler kind of. Then at the end he's like "I don't care about her anymore", falls asleep and wakes up to Lilith, straddling him with his gun to his head. Oh, she burnt up her parents in their home. Also, and this is the clincher, she's got a tat of satan on her private situation. Yup, the secret tunnel is his mouth. Nope, nothing weird about that. BUT she's badass and the best part of the book of psychos and pussys. Oh, just FYI, Luc gets another male member to blow him and he jerks the other biker off to teach him how to train women they kidnap. Yup, that's just a heads up since I never got one and, imagine my surprise, the alpha straight hero is unloading down some biker guys throat. Fantastic, thanks for the heads up. Anywho, the most interesting person in the story was in it for like 5% of the book. BUT... Now with that ending, I feel like she should have a bigger part in the next one. Will I read it? Don't know.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I can't find the right words to actually describe this book. It wasn't really dark, but it wasn't light and fluffy, either.
Basically, Luc kidnaps women and trains them to be slaves. In the beginning he gets Lilith, a crazy, satanic loving mysterious girl.
She did not in any way influence the story for me. She's in the book for such a short time and I didn't really see why the author had to make her such a big part.
Luc was meh. He wasn't a bad boy, he wasn't an alpha, there is to little evidence to actually think that he is an alpha. Its a really short story, so I'm just give a couple of spoilers.
1. 2. 3. 4.
And that is all that pretty much happens in the story oh and I forgot one other spoiler.
5.
I don't recommend it, but read it if you want, nothing good reall y happens in it, but that's my opinion.
The guys of the Lucifer's Legion MC are not sweet tatted guys who like to wear leather. They are criminals. Who kidnap and sell women. And Luc is the best at it.
There are several characters in play in this story that is shorter than a book but longer than most serials.
Luc is the nomad who uses his skill set to make money for his club. He doesn't think he has a conscious. And he proves it to most people daily.
I am fuckin' darkness.
Lilith is the crazy, and I do mean crazy, woman who is taken and given to Luc to break. When he realizes she is not trainable he is given the task to dispose of her. Just make her go away.
I know you. I am you.
Angel is tame. She is docile. She is submissive. Luc does't have to worry about breaking her. He has to take care to make sure she isn't so broken she disappears within herself.
I don't normally like serials, but I love dark and this is more than tad bit dark. It isn't your fun MC read with bikes and bitches. This is the criminal money side of the 1%ers. I was hooked. The end of book 1 will make you snatch and grab Book 2.
OMG !!! What did I just read? A biker gang who steals women, train them to be sex slaves and sell them to the drug cartel. The book starts out where they kidnapped a girl named Lilith and she is one messed up woman!! Satans faced inked on her body. Satanic verses on her torso. She has major issues!!! Lucifer is the one who trains the women and he realizes this is one messed up chick and knows she will not be able to be sold. So he has to kill her because thats just what they do, but he couldnt pull the trigger. (seriously?? i dont know if i would sleep well knowing she is out there)
Lucifer swipes another girl and starts training her. But as he is training her he starts to care for her and doesnt want to sell her. This is not who Lucifer is. He is cold hearted and has no feelings for any of the girls he trains. Now he finds himself changing and doesnt understand why....
The book ends with Lilith coming back for him and letting him know that he is owned by her.....
OMG OMG OMG cannot wait to read the second book....page turner and a definite a book to mess with your head
Kelli Maine, you sure as hell do not have to apologize for approaching such a delicate and sadly neglected theme. Chapeau to you for being so brave!
For the love of me, once I started reading this I could not put it down and I really, really want to know what Lilith/Amber's gonna do with Luc. So, will be waiting anxiously for #2, because I am curious as heck.
This was sick. This was twisted. And I mean seriously sick and seriously twisted, to the point I felt like puking, 'cause we are talking about rape here and rape is disgusting and deplorable, and it makes me so angry and sick to the core I cannot even talk about it.
As said, my admiration to the author for approaching such thematics.
Though I really do not know how to rate "Lilith". It was totally not okay because it made me feel bad. It was really good because I appreciate the attention it draws to such a heavy subject as rape, sex-slavery and abuse (the message here OBVIOUSLY being - as veiled as it may seem - that it is fucking WRONG!).
OMG...wow...just got this free on Amazon and read it in less than an hour. HOT and sick and twisted and scary...with elements of paranormal in it...or witchcraft...just a major mind-blower of a start to what promises to be quite a dark and really dirty series. Luc kidnaps and brings in women to train as sex slaves to be sold to a Mexican cartel...and when he picks up a scarred and tatted woman who smells of gasoline and is totally messed up in the head...his whole life is turned upside down. When things don't go as planned with her and he has to nab another girl for training, he discovers some things about himself that will alter his future...and we are left with a major explosion and cliffhanger. The scenes in this book were depraved and filthy...but were definitely the kind to make you sweat and get the heart beating a little too fast. Bring on the next book because this just made me hungry for more!
