When a shooting downtown leaves countless dead, including the shooter, Detective James Walker is called in to investigate. He quickly finds himself chasing down a mysterious new technology called an echo screen: a device that allows the user to change one decision in their life and experience a day in that alternate reality. Walker must figure out what this technology has to do with the shooting while also wrestling with his own demons, and the temptation to see what his own life would be like if things had been different.
When I was a kid, I wrote two books which you should not read under any circumstances. Now I've returned to writing with my new book Echoes. I mostly write near-future science fiction.
I live on a farm in north-central Alberta, Canada. When I'm procrastinating from writing, I am typically working as a yard assistant for a grain company, woodworking, cooking, and fixing up my farm.
