*NEWLY REVISED 2020 EDITION*

Could there be life, if there was no Death?

When a devious plot begins to unfold, the Reaper is caught in the wake of Hell’s wrath. Azazel, one of the oldest demons to roam Hell, seeks an advantage when he finally escapes. His sights are set on what gives the Grim Reaper its powers, the Scythe of Death. With no other options, Death is thrown into the ongoing war between Heaven and Hell.

After helping souls cross over for the span of humanity’s existence, Death is finally granted life. The human emotions of love, hate, vengeance, and sorrow are all experienced by the Reaper on its inquisitive walk through life. Along the way, it obtains help from heroic humans, the immortal protectors of earth, fallen angels and more. Should Death fail in its quest, Lucifer’s plan to overtake Earth and gain an upper hand in the war will be achieved.

I am from the small town of Richland Center, Wisconsin originally and due to boredom and separation from any adventurous world, I spent many of my early years with my imagination. I was usually at least a 30 minute drive from any of my childhood/adolescent friends and because so, I didn't spend everyday with them like other kids. With that, I took to falling in love with stories and from an early age started creating my own works. When I was only around 8 years old I recorded myself with our tape recorder, speaking stories into it. It's only gotten stronger through time and the stories have only gotten more grand. Throughout highschool I had high praise as a good poet and after graduating, started working on my first novel, Reaper.
I enjoy pulling a complex story from simple little things I witness day to day. It could be a name, something someone says, something strange I have never seen before or many of other things that will suddenly inspire me to create a story based off of it. I finished my first full length novel in July of 2013 after writing it for nearly a year and will be writing many more books in the future as well! I am very intune with social effort, so if you ever engage me, I will gladly respond!

Info dump right off the bat. I don't want to bash this book since:
A) No one knows this book, so I'd probably just rant to myself, only having the author see what I've got to say.

B) It's an indie book and I've mad respect for those who self-publish. It is a gusty decision.

and

C) I'm only assuming that this is the authors first books. So, I'll take that under consideration as I write this review, like I do with most first time writers.

I'm not sure how to rate this book exactly since I only read the sample. I skimmed the prologue cause I hate prologues. Also, the prologue was MASSIVE (!). I'll read it later.

For now, till I read that dreadfully long prologue, it shall stay a 2.5.

Note to Author:
Don't quote yourself at the beginning of the book.
Did you get you Ebook formatted by a professional? If not, you should. Also get an editor so they can help with the info dump. It'll make the beginning of the book more interesting for possible new readers.
Lastly, you should get a better cover. Readers depend no three things.

1-Cover (50%)

2-Description of book (30%)

3-Word of mouth recommondation (20%)

And since this has been out for about a year, I think some revisions must be needed.

I may be a little biased as I don’t read a lot of action, but that’s all this book was. There was relevant plot in maybe 5 chapters? Other than that it was senseless fighting and forced romance.
If you like action, you will likely enjoy this. It just wasn’t for me.
