She’s stubborn. He’s relentless. Something’s gotta give.Adele Ramsey is a free spirit who spends her days fishing on the quiet and rustic shores of Cedar Key, Florida. But when she discovers her late husband made a deal with real estate developers who now own a chunk of the land she’s sitting on, she quickly becomes embroiled in a desperate battle to keep the life she’s worked so hard to build.

Christopher Tyson is a hot-shot real estate developer with big plans for the tiny town—and he’s not about to let a stubborn widow frustrate his efforts. After he hatches a cunning scheme to get his foot in the door, he resolves to use his good looks and natural charms to soften Adele’s heart and close a deal that no money can buy.

Adele is furious that Christopher is staying in her house—but as he owns half of everything, she can’t refuse. Her only hope is to chase him out of town. But as he tags along on every fishing trip and adventure, the pair or polar opposites both start to find more than they bargained for.

And when Christopher’s cut-throat twin brother grows impatient with his lack of progress, Chris is soon faced with an impossible choice—backstab Adele for the sake of his career, or side with the woman he’s beginning to fall for.

Beautifully written as a cozy small town adventure that will delight readers with heartwarming clean romance and later-in-life love, Beneath the Summer Sky is a feel-good beach read that’s perfect for fans of enemies-to-lovers, opposites attract, and forced proximity romance.

What a great start t this series, not a bunch of boring junk. As I see other people are saying how short her books are & wish you would make them into one book. She is an awesome writer & I think she would make more money in the long run if she would make it into one book. She always has a good story line & most of the time they pull you in right from the start. This one is no exception. Adele lives in a small town, Cedar Key in Florida. It’s a quiet fishing town, where she owns a small restaurant that she loves & does her own fishing so she can serve fresh fish every day. All the people love her restaurant & her & her cooking. One day a real estate developer, Chris shows up & claims he owned half of the property & everything else. She had already received a letter from his lawyer. She didn’t pay it any attention because she knew it was impossible! Chris tells her that her late husband borrowed money from him & put up her land for collateral, so he has come to collect on his debt. Adele still doesn’t believe him & is ready to fight for what she knows is rightfully hers. Adele’s daughter is also working with Adele at the restaurant, but she will soon be leaving for college in the fall, Adele tells her what has is going on with Chris & his claim of ownership of half of everything. Her daughter is also very angry with the situation & doesn’t believe Chris either. Christopher now has to find a way to convince Adele to sell her half of the land to them so they can develop the property into something big that will bring a lot of tourist in. Now it’s becomes a struggle between them who can win this battle. I think this is going to be a long battle because neither one is willing to give up the fight. I think this is going to be an interesting series.

I received this book for free & am giving my review for free in my own words without any influence from Aurthor or Publishing Company. Sorry this review is late but I had to wait so long I forgot about it.

A good start to a new series. Clever interactions between the characters add interest to the story. Adele and her daughter Jordan mourned the loss of her husband Donnie. Chris, a stranger show up claiming his development company owns half of the house and business.

Adele refuses to sell as she claims her business is important to the community. Will Chris’ clever idea work to get his half of the business? How will this well dressed businessman fit onto the community?

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Beneath The Summer Sky

This novella started off beautifully with the characters in a seaside town. As you continue reading the story just ends abruptly leaving many things hanging. I realize authors do this so you can go to the next book but this one was like a jolt not a smooth transition.

disappointed...this isn't a book but chapters

I should've looked more carefully to see this was only 60 pages. I love a great series where the characters can stay with me and I purchase 6 to 10 books. I don't love, when an author sells you 5 to 8 short chapters and call it a book but you have to four books to truly get the story.

Just a blanking teaser...

Total nothing! Nothing but the beginning of a story and plenty of stress. Not what I want to read before going to bed. Not to mention using words incorrectly, like "here" for "hear" and other grammatical errors. I won't be downloading the free book either. Learned my lesson, so I will return to authors I know!

The book had 8 chapters plus one page of chapter 9. Written ok, but why does it need to be broken up into several books. Nothing in the description told you this up front. Filled with typos too, which I find annoying.

I hate Chris

It is hard to continue this series. I don’t like Chris and all he brings with him-stuffy shirt. Arrogant mean spirited. Disrespect. etc and so on.

This book had me hooked from page one. The banter between Adele and Chris is funny, kismet, and something worth exploring. Adele's daughter Jordan is super sweet and caring. She is also so supportive of her mom especially after her dad's passing. The mystery as to what Adele's late husband, Donnie did to sell have of their property behind and why is truly strange. What will Chris reveal and how long will Adele put up with him and his nonsense. Will she give in or fight for what is hers and Jordans. What will Adele and Chris do with the item Chris fished out of the ocean and where did it come from. I wonder if this is why Chris's twin brother is rushing to get Adele to acquiesce selling her half of her property so quickly...Hmm, I am intrigued and look forward to reading more!!
