Some cases remain cold forever. After ten years, Charlotte Turner is certain her parents’ murder is going to meet the same fate. Knowing there are no suspects and no new leads has worn her down, and she’s ready to give up the fight.
But just as she’s accepted that moving on is for the best, the past resurfaces and seems to threaten everything she has left. Pair that with the extremely handsome yet incredibly mysterious private investigator that shows up out of nowhere and claims to be able to solve her parents’ murder… as much as she wants to move on, all her reasons for doing so slip right through her fingers.
Will the past stay buried or will the person she least expects be the one to finally give her the closure she’s been seeking for a decade? Or is it all going to crumble at her feet?

This isn’t my usual go-to genre, but I had a great time! I sat down to read the first couple of chapters and read 10+ chapters in one sitting (me: “I don’t need sleep! I need answers!”). It reads really quickly and gave the same feeling as watching a true crime show or movie- totally binge worthy. I felt in-the-dark with who to trust right along with the FMC and wanted to solve this crime! Charlotte’s internal monologue had me giggling, but that humor and those cute moments were balanced with moments filled with fear, tension, and grief. I loved the anxiety, depression, and PTSD rep, it wasn’t something that was just glossed over, but really defined the character. The grief and emotion was palpable, and it was very clear the author poured her heart into this! After struggling with trusting men, I loved seeing Charlotte’s healing journey through the romance. One of my favorites quotes was “it’s clear that [redacted] and I have definitely crossed a line. Hell, we’ve obliterated the line. But I can’t find it in me to care.” I adored all of their cute moments!
This has me wanting to delve into more crime and thriller books!! 👀 can’t wait to read more from you, Felicity!

Charlotte, the FMC, was such a standout! Strong-willed, refreshingly honest, and easy to root for. 👏🏼Her growth throughout the story felt authentic and deeply satisfying. Felicity’s writing style is effortlessly readable, making it easy to immerse yourself in the world she’s created.
Whether you’re in the mood for a swoony escape or a character-driven romance with heart, this one’s a must-read. I devoured it in one sitting and loved every minute of it. 🫶🏼
Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me. It's an interesting premise: Charlotte's parents were murdered in a home invasion when she was eighteen years old, and 10 years later, the case remains unsolved. We see her navigating her grief when a private investigator contacts her to work on her parents' case pro bono. All in all, I found the writing repetitive: things would happen, and then Charlotte would tell the people in her life exactly what happened (things that we, the readers, already knew). Realistic, perhaps, but it slowed the pace and made me want to skip good chunks of paragraphs. The twist at the end wasn't really a twist; there's a difference between leaving breadcrumbs and spoon-feeding the readers, and this to me felt a lot like spoon-feeding. It also bothered me that we didn't see much of Charlotte outside her trauma, and that we saw none of Liam outside of entwined with Charlotte and the case. Definitely not for me, but reading is subjective, so if you like murder mysteries where everything is tied up with a neat bow, instalove, and mental health rep, you might enjoy Charlotte and Liam's story.
I had the honor of alpha reading this and it truly has a piece of Felicity’s heart and soul. The grief was raw, real and made my heart ache. Charlotte was the strongest fmc and I admire her so much. Liam was such a gentleman and seriously took such good care of her. They deserve each other and allll the love. The suspense and mystery in this book was insane! It kept me on edge and I was wracking my brain trying to figure everything out. I’m so proud of Felicity and this book and can’t recommend enough!
✨ ARC Review ✨ All Your Reasons by Felicity Vaughn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 5 STARS 📖 Out Now
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. I kept saying “just one more chapter”… and 15 chapters later, I was still reading 😅 It’s the kind of slow burn that sneaks up on you—layered with suspense, spice, and just enough mystery to keep you guessing until the end.
There were so many moments I wanted to shake Charlotte and say, “Girl, don’t you watch true crime? Don’t follow that noise!” 😂 Felicity Vaughn’s writing pulls you right into the story and makes you care deeply for her characters. I’m officially a fan for life and cannot wait to read whatever she writes next. 💕
Huge thank you to the author for letting me be part of the ARC team! 🥹✨

I finished this last night and I'm gonna be honest I still don't have the right words. I found myself tearing up so much with this book it's actually crazy. The way this author captured the loss of your parents and grief is so painfully beautiful. You could feel Charlotte's pain from page one. like being stuck in one and wanting so desperately to be able to heal and not knowing how to do it without them right by her side. And that hit me so hard in the gut as someone who lost both of her parents. That alone is enough to make you cry but Liam? god the way he loves her so completely. that man is a swoon worthy book boyfriend. "Breathe for me, Lottie" Their connection was UNDENIABLE. It just flowed so perfectly and good god im obsessed. the plot twist ? straight to jail. I did not see that coming and honestly my jaw is still absolutely on the floor. this was amazing. plot ? phenomenal couple? amazing. spice? panty dropping and kept to a minimum for those who arent spice heavy. thats all I got. wow.
All Your Reasons - this book had me in my feels, from laughing out loud, to smirking, to gasping, to crying, okay actually sobbing, to most of all- relating. The grief is real and raw, as our author Felicity has just lost her father, she poured her heart into our beautiful curly and curvy girl, Charlotte. Who is perfect in every human way. I will not give spoilers, but this story is wonderful. I truly cared for Charlotte and I know you will too!
Felicity, thank you for sharing an early release with me. It was my pleasure to become invested in Charlotte and her story. Through you, I am able to connect with her and enjoy the satisfaction of your hard work! I truly enjoy your writing!
Please, read this book. You won’t regret it. And if you’re on the fence, I can give you a lot of reasons…
Such a good read! It felt like I got to solve a mystery and read some killer romance at the same time. This book has everything in it that I didn’t know I wanted like:
🔎romantic suspense 🩵strangers to friends to lovers 🔎PTSD/anxiety/depression rep (FMC) 🩵he falls first 🔎touch her and unalive vibes 🩵”early release” 🔎“It’s been awhile… but I trust you.” 🩵coastal setting 🔎the PI is doing some extra *investigating* 😏 🩵secret identity 🔎“Did he hurt you?” 🩵twists and turns
This was Felicity’s first solo debut and cannot wait for more! I have always loved her writing style and this is no exception.
This was SO good!! I managed to love every character, even the one we shouldn’t😅😅
Our MMC is perfect, the way he loves our girl Char & supports her through her grief >>> AND he memorized her coffee order just after one time of hearing her order it?!!! I told my husband to take notes 🤣
My heart broke for our villain right along with Charlotte.
I felt everything Charlotte was feeling. The grief storyline was written eloquently.
I love a good murder mystery and this definitely served. What an amazing debut from an author that knows how to write emotion.
I enjoyed the banter of characters and the dynamic of relationships and friendships. Liam is a little more golden retriever/complimentary vibes than I usually prefer, that being said, it fit the need for the storyline so I totally see how it worked.
I spent the whole story trying to figure out who did what and where different people were, I loved to still be surprised as the finale rolled out. There were laughs and tears through the whole book, hard to ask for more.
Sometimes in a book you can feel the author’s heart and soul and that is 100% the case in this book, as Felicity just poured her grief into Charlotte and we feel it so profoundly. It’s romantic suspense goodness, Liam the PI is stupid hot and a “pays attention to every detail about her” kinda man and Charlotte is pure strength. It was so fun trying to solve the mystery with them, a great spice/ plot balance as well!
Goodness gracious I loved this book! Like truly loved it! I was a mess of tears because I know Felicity put her heart and soul into this book. This book was everything it was a murder mystery that had me so beside myself I was writing notes and it broke me time and time again and at the end it glued me back together.
I received this as an ARC, and absolutely devoured it. It was a solid thriller—I wasn’t totally shocked by how things went down, but it was fun to watch it go down. Charlotte is a good FMC, you feel her grief and trauma and want closure for her. Liam is the perfect man; 10/10, no notes.
Wow! What a whirlwind of a story. Charlotte had so much she had to try to get through and so much devastation. She needed answers and in comes Liam. These two were so cute and the connection was phenomenal. The twists and turns this book had were fantastic and I loved the growth of charlotte and just the wholr storyline. It was hard to put this one down. Absolutely amazing!
Charlotte and Liam are the perfect couple for this story. It’s a beautifully written Romantic thriller that deserves all the hype! Charlotte lost her parents to a home invasion and Liam is a PI that helps her solve the case. You’ll get hooked and stay hooked from chapter one! Oh and watch out for the plot twist!
The emotion put into this book is my absolute biggest talking point. The way I felt everything and more. Felicity sucks you in and keeps you guessing til the last bit.
I went on such a true crime watching spree after reading because I was thattttt invested. lol
Left me in therapeutic tears. Seriously great book. Hard to get past that dedication for personal reasons, but it was so worth it! It’s a tragedy, a mystery, and a romance of a thriller all rolled up in one compelling story. Highly recommend reading this.
This is usually not my go to genre. But I was intrigued & let me just say I loved this story so much. Felicity did such an amazing job. It is an emotional roller coaster, but so worth it! I would say more but I don’t want to spoil it. So I definitely recommend & you need to read it. ❤️
ARC Review for All Your Reasons by Felicity Vaughn So I waited to post my review not because I didn't love the book but because I wasn't sure if me saying I guessed the perpetrator right after the crime was a spoiler. As a lover of mysteries, thrillers and true crime I had an idea of who was one of the perpetrators. Me knowing who it was didn't take away the love of the book as I didn't know why the crime was committed. I loved the couple together and individually. I admired Charlotte's strength despite her trauma and PTSD of the night her parents were murdered. I also loved how understanding and patient Liam was towards Charlotte. One last thing I wanted to add was that I appreciated the way Felicity made the last encounter of Charlotte with her parents a happy memory. I for one have also experienced loss not to the magnitude of murder but a loss nonetheless and I was grateful to be by my loved ones side until the end compared to others who never get to say goodbye or have a fight as their last memory. Overall I loved the book and am looking forward to reading more of Felicity's work.
