As a long-time listener of the Underwood and Flinch saga, I enjoyed this short story from Underwood's past, but didn't feel it particularly added anything to the canon. As a stand-alone it's more of an appetite-whetter than anything else.

This auto podcast took me a while to find. A surprising discovery and I was not disappointed. It expanded the whole Underwood and Flinch Universe in its own way to new possibilities. As well as another backstory for our favorite vampire, Underwood, as well as one of the Flinch family members. Keep up the good work Mike.

1800's American west with a twist of the occult?

Yes please. While not much for vampires, this story was well written and offered more. I may have to look into the other books.
