Justice Team #2.5

Holiday Justice

Rate this book
When the wrong Santa comes down your chimney…

All Justice “Grey” Greystone wants for the holidays is a juicy rib eye dinner with his girlfriend Sydney Banfield. Well, that, and the 12 Days—or nights, in this case—of Christmas Syd has promised him.

When his Justice Team partners, Mitch Monroe and Caroline Foster, discover a Santa sneaking around behind the restaurant, Grey and Mitch uncover a theft ring that’s leaving kids without toys and families without a reason to celebrate.

But taking down the Santas could put Grey in hot water…especially if it ruins Christmas at Sydney’s shelter for battered women and children. Can Grey pull off the ultimate sting operation and save Christmas for Sydney and the shelter’s residents? Or will giving the bad guys a dose of holiday justice leave him with nothing but coal in his stocking?

This is the novella following the second book in the series.

The heroines are from the first 2 books.

Our heroes are from the first 2 books as well.

The plot is centered around Christmas and our 2 couples want to splurge at one of the famous restaurants where they live. One of the heroine’s pulls some strings from a friend to get them a table in the kitchen but at least they are going to get some great food! However, when one of the heroes goes outside and spots a few Santa’s acting weird, he follows them. Soon the whole team, all 4 of them, are there with him helping him with bringing down the Santa’s. Afterwards, they find out the shelter where one of the heroine’s work, will be affected because the Santa’s were to attend their celebrations and have already sold the presents.

Soon they develop a plan to get everything happening for the shelter….but will a surprise at the end be a celebration or end in tears for one of the couples?

This is a great tiny read for the series and it was great to see the two couples together working towards a common goal.

I read this in a Christmas anthology and found it very enjoyable. This is the first book I've read by these authors and it made me want to read more in the series. A good beginning to my favorite holiday.

Short but another good story to fill in between the longer ones in the series

Cute

The story is cute and adorable and full of chaos because Mitch Monroe is involved. And well one itch Santa suit a group of shelter moms and kids needing holiday cheer and a blue box. What was not to love.

Quick read

This is a short story set at Christmastime. It is ok but not warm and fuzzy. I re-read many of the books by these authors, but not this one.

Awesome Christmas Story

This short story has everything a Holiday Suspense Romance should have with a lot of smiles and laughter thrown in. It's a story with the true meaning of Christmas (love and giving) behind it but told the "Justice League Team" way!

You get Laughter (crazy Monroe up to his usual tricks) Suspense (a Santa sting operation) Smiles (at least I did picturing Grey saving the day -anything for Syd right?) and last but certainly not least, Love! Monroe & Caroline, Sydney and Grey, the couple's family style love for each other and mostly the love for the kids and the ladies at the shelter for battered women Sydney runs!

I don't like spoilers so I won't give anything away, but I'll simply say Christmas is a time for love, laughter, giving and family and this wonderful story has it all (even a sexy Santa in a worn out used Santa suit - as I said, anything for Syd)-and of course there are a few romantic situations are involved as well - after all the story does involve the sexy Justice "Grey" Greystone!

What a fun story this was!
If you have read the previous book reviews for Justice series on this blog, you know that I love them. And this was just a bonus, icing on the cake, if you may...
To have all four of them together, Sydney, Grey, Mitch and Caroline in one Christmas novella, you can bet there's conspiracy theories, crooks, fight, shooting, blaming, steak, lots of humor, fun, and steamy looks and intents. And Christmas cheer enough to share.
I enjoyed this story so much. It made me laugh out loud, maybe not wise to read it in a public place like I was, it made me sigh, and completely swoon at the end. For all romantic suspense lovers, this is the holiday novella to read!

Holiday Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is book #2.5 of their Justice Team series. It was a cute short holiday story that gave those fans reading this series a little something extra to enjoy.
Grey, Sydney, Caroline and Mitch are all supposed to be enjoying a Christmas meal together at the newest hotspot/restaurant in DC. Of course, Mitch has to throw them all into solving a Santa theft ring. This quick holiday story provided fans of this series with a chance to spend time with them while they solved a case, provided an emergency Santa for the shelter and a swoon worthy HEA.

Loved this short story by Misty and Adrienne. If you have read the other books in the Justice Series, this one is sure to make you smile. It may not mean much to those outside of the Justice Team world, however, so you should know that going in. In my opinion it is meant to complement the full length novels.

A small entry to take advantage of the holidays. Both the Justice Team couples appear here, with Mitch getting the other three involved in a Christmas caper. Of course, they want to take some bad guys down, so that's part of the fun.

A brief and neat story.

I couldn't wait to read this. I was happy to get the glimpse of our friends again, and although this is a short read, it didn't feel lacking. It had humour, action and a very nice swoon worthy moment. I loved it and for fans of Stealing Justice, it is a must read.

I love everything about this series. Grey, Syd, Mitch, Caroline and others are just great together. This was a short book about a Santa theft ring that was solved by the Justice Team. It helps if you've read the first two books. I Joe there are more books to follow.
