Life is Turned on End Alex never dreamed that finding the one who completes him would turn his life upside down.
˃˃˃ Decisions Are Never Easy Love wars with heartache and the hardest decision of his life comes with consequences he never imagined.
˃˃˃ Another Welcome Chapter to this Fresh, Exciting Werewolf Series On top of it all, Alex’s world is rocked when he finds someone he loves at the end of a gun. Can Alex be strong enough protect everyone, or will family shatter the world he has worked so hard to defend?
Cheree Alsop is an award-winning, best-selling author and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter and amazing twin sons who fill every day with joy and laughter. She is married to her best friend, Michael, the light of her life and her soulmate who shares her dreams and inspires her by reading the first drafts of each book. Cheree is a fulltime author and mother, which is much more fun than work! She enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on warm nights, and playing with her twins while planning her next book. She is also a bass player for their rock band, Alien Landslide.
Cheree and Michael live in Utah where they rock out, enjoy the outdoors, plan great adventures, and never stop dreaming.
Alex is only 17, but has experienced far more than most kids, human or werewolf. He tries to take care of his friends. They are many and varied.
He is happiest when running freely through the woods near the Academy or being with friends. But he still is in demand as a leader even if not an Alpha. He has earned respect even if it is not always freely offered. He has to protect his pack and seeks the chance to shut the General down to save many wolves.
He has Kalia and Siere to worry about as they try to help him until they cannot. Then his world changes as events tear at him and silver affects him to the point of failure. But the General learns not to hurt his son as Alex changes the playing field as football quarterback and rescue hero.
Taken is the fourth book in the series and follows on from the previous one. Alex now knows beyond any doubt that Siale is the One for him but Kalia needs some convincing. Alex wants her as a friend but that is it. He finds himself in Torin's Pack for the year, which doesn't go very well. Let's just say, him and the toilets become very good friends. I won't say anymore than that!
Right then, so, this story... is just like the others. It is intense and fast-paced with the overall story arc but you also have Alex trying to negotiate his way through girl-infested waters. Not an easy job at the best of times. Alex proves once again he will do anything for his friends and family but not all outcomes are happy ones. The depth of emotion in one particular scene just about killed me and it was absolutely perfect.
Things are changing for Alex but his self-preservation isn't one of them. He still puts everyone else before himself, although I think he may be starting to realise just what he has with Siale.
An absolutely brilliant book, full of emotion and action, and highly recommended by me.

I really enjoyed this book. This year at the academy, th dean had decided to mix things up. No one could be in the same pack that they had previously been. Alex was chosen as Torin's second, which was surprising as Torin hated Alex. Alex could have refused but decided to go with it, as he didn't want Kalia to have the opportunity to choose him thus giving her the wrong idea. He was not interested in her romantically, but only as a friend. His one and only was Siale, who was in Jericho's pack at Alex's request. Torin took great pleasure in giving Alex a hard time, but eased up a little when Alex started giving him ideas on how to win Kalia fir himself. Things go wrong on a raid and Kalia is taken. Although he is not in love with her, he will do anything to get his friend back. Things go straight downhill from there.
When the new school year starts there is trouble everywhere! There are new packs because Jaze thought it would be a good idea to change up things, so Alex's last pack is broken up into new packs. Alex is in Torrin's pack and he's suffering. Siale starts at the academy but because of a favor, she's in pack Jericho. Kalia has her own pack and she is still madly in Love with Alex. The problem? Alex knows that Siale is his 'one'. Alex doesn't want to hurt Kalia but what do you do if you find the 'one'? This book was another great read from Ms. Alsop. I nearly cried my eyes out at the end. What a story. These characters are in my soul and reading about them makes my day. I can't put these books down.
I am loving this series. This book continues where the other left off. You’ll find the packs are made differently at the academy this year. Siale comes to school and Alex has a hard time with Kaliyah. He doesn’t know how to tell her she isn’t “the one”. Hearts are broken especially at the end of the book. I’m not sure how much more Alex’s heart can take at this point. He’s getting stronger. Can’t wait to read the next installment. 😊
Heartbreaking story, but so good! I love this series! First series in along time that has really been so realistic, you almost believe the wolf pack is right out there! Great read!
Yet another great story so sad ( and so unexpected) one of the team us lost and one of the terrorist leaders now dead will Alex get by this and there us still the problem of his heart I recommend this story and the set
When a close friend is taken, consequences arise....
When Kalia is kidnapped on her way all bets are off in finding her, though the second time Alex will really make the General and Drogan wish they stayed away.
These books are getting better and better, even though this one was sad, this author should be praised for her writings... couldn't put this one down either
I liked how new characters are brought in and how sometimes we believe we know the best for others . Probably not as we each must decide for ourselves.
Ends on a cliffhanger that made me actually growl out loud! I loved this. The saga of Alex Davies Carso continues with Taken, another amazing tale of rescuing werewolves from being persecuted by human Extremists. Poor Alex thinks he's breaking apart, but his new friend Siale is now at the Academy with him. The young man who has gone from kid to tag-along to rescuer himself has now gone the next steps. Epic conflict, both internal and external. I was in tears by the end. Of course then it ended on a cliffhanger and I need the next book, but still, this one was awesome!
I received a free beta-reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great characters, well written , and thrilling. I loved this book. So far there isn't a book of hers that I don't love. A great, great author. Now on to the next.
