Loch and Alena’s story may be book 4 in the series but their story takes place before any of the other stories, and as the story progresses weaves seamlessly into the current story line. We get to watch their relationship develop and grow while also seeing the conflict Loch experiences with his family life that Alena has no idea about. These two are so hot and sexy but gentle and loving. Don’t get it twisted though, Alena is a badass Princess! Their book is 446 pages and there isn’t a moment where their story stalls or slows down. It is a constant adventure between wondering what is going to happen next, who is the bad guys, what is really happening, and when will Alena find out the truth?! And I was sucked in the entire time!
Kelly how do you make a hulking, tattooed Mafia Dom also so gentle and goofy?! How do
you mix serious elements with rom com and bring in The Wedding Singer and make it all make sense?! How do you come up with these smoking how sex scenes? How do I fall deeper in love with all of these Kings and their Queens? If you can’t tell I absolutely loved Loch and you will too, please check this one out!!

This was my first book by Kelly Finley and honestly… I have no idea why I waited so long. I absolutely loved it!
We have Alena, our FMC, a forest ranger who completely stole my heart. She’s strong, loyal, and capable, but also vulnerable and lonely. Because of old emotional wounds, she doesn’t see herself as the amazing woman she truly is, and that just made me love her even more.
And then we have Loch. Morally grey? Yes. But just a green flag? Absolutely not. That man is a whole green mountain, and a very, very hot one at that. He’s loyal, obsessed (in the best way), sweet, secretly a romance reader, and the mouth on that man? Holy smokes. I needed more than one cold shower reading this book.
But it’s not just the spice that hits perfectly, the angst is chef’s kiss. You can feel Loch’s internal conflict, his struggle to protect Alena while wrestling with his secrets piling up around them. There’s this constant tension, like waiting for a bomb to detonate, and it keeps you completely hooked. Loch has been in love with Alena for so long, and you feel that devotion in every chapter. Their connection and love was everything one could ever hope for.
One of my favourite things was the trust between them, especially how safe Alena feels exploring her fantasies and desires with him. Their connection felt intimate in more ways than just physical.
The side characters added so much to the story as well. Mutt was absolutely the best doggo side character and completely stole every scene he was in. The plot was genuinely interesting, and even though I haven’t read the other books in the series, I never felt lost. That said, it definitely made me want to go back and read them all. The pacing was fantastic, I didn’t want to put it down. The humour was perfectly timed, and I adored the family dynamics. I laughed out loud more than once.
The writing is immersive, fun, and emotionally engaging. This book gave me spice, angst, heart, humour, everything I want in a romance.

I went into Loch as a Kelly Finley newbie and came out a changed woman. Respectfully: FUCK. ME. 🫠🔥
This is the fourth instalment in the Belles & Bratva Beasts series, and while it stands strong on its own, it also whet my appetite so hard I immediately want to inhale the first three books.
Loch Waring is everything you want in a morally-grey mountain menace: burly, inked, fiercely controlled… until he isn’t. He’s Bratva; but not in the way you expect (think code, not chaos). He’s loved Alena for years, from the shadows, while doing the one job that keeps him close and keeps him suffering: guarding her. Longing? Obsession? Restraint forged into devotion? Yes. All of it. And it hurts so good.
Alena is a revelation. A park ranger with dirt under her nails, a spine of steel, and a life built on lies she never asked for. It is great to finally get to know Loch and Alena. This book has a challenge in bringing all the timelines together as we know so many pieces of their story already. And Loch has been such a distant unknown.
Loch's story has a feeling of impending resolutions and an ending to the series. In uncovering secrets and in laying out the truth of the ex Bratva brothers to Alena, the narrative takes a huge step forward. There is so much healing for Alena in rebuilding trust with Loch, Nash and Axel. She is no longer just a daughter. This book makes her a queen. She is a water rescuing kick ass woman in her own right. This is her story and her standing up for herself and her desires as a mature woman.
Loch is the youngest of the brothers with the most determined of hearts. He has known Alena is his queen for years. He sacrifices and changes to protect her and had stood watch from a distance out of respect for his family and Nash. However, these two were destined to combust. And in a series of fated encounters these two explore their perfectly passionate chemistry together and burn up the pages.
An action packed, secret revealing, spicy domineering, all round five star read. Roll on Jace's book. Oh and don't miss downloading the bonus initiation scene. These 3 chapters are spicy heated teasing perfection.

This book kind of takes us away from what we’ve seen so far as it takes place in Loch and Alena’s work location, Pisgah National Forest. It fills in the blanks of what we missed of their relationship from the other books.
This man loves her with his whole heart and has loved her from afar for several years. He would do anything for her.
I also love that he is the only one who sees her for the strong capable woman she is and not just their little princess.
Her journey from Princess to full blown Queen is soooo good. I usually don’t care for an insecure FMC. It will immediately turn me off in a lot of books, but I truly loved her journey to badassery. Not that she wasn’t one all along, but Loch gave her the confidence to step into her spotlight and take her rightful place among the Kings and Queens.
I keep SCREAMING at y’all to read this series and I don’t know how much louder I can yell it.
I know I talk a lot about the spice (because it’s just so good), but the balance she creates between spice and plot is actual perfection. I just can’t speak too much on the overall plot at this point, bc spoilers
Now I have to succumb to the torturous wait for Jace.

Things heat up quickly and it doesn’t take long for some innocent secrets to come out but Alena’s father and Loch’s brothers aren’t too happy when they find they’re dating. So what happens when the full truth comes out just before their wedding?

This book had me in a chokehold and I could not put it down nor actually predict what was going to happen next. I do wonder, if I hadn’t start on book five, if some more of the story would have been predictable. Yes and if I could leave it at that I would. Axel has always been my favorite from this series, but I think Loch may have just dethroned him (or maybe Loch can be my second King?). The chemistry that Loch and Alena have is undeniable, but the secrets that are kept from her because of who he is and who her family is causes some tension as the story progresses.
One thing I love about this series is that yes, they can be read as interconnected standalones; however, the way that Kelly has written them it is nice to get the backstories in each King/Queen's book but then see it from different perspectives in the other books. It is almost like having deja vu but in more detail.
Alena is the protected princess that all the brother's have sworn to protect, but none more than Loch who was set as her protection detail, but they have so much in common he couldn't help but fall in love with her. Who could blame him? Alena is pretty freaking awesome FMC! The way Loch loves her, protects her, and stands up against his brother's for her is beautiful.

I really struggled with this book. The way it was written and just the relationship between Loch and Alena. It was not it for me. And it very well is probably a ME THING and is fantastic for everyone else.
The romantic plot just doesn’t mesh. Maybe that’s because Loch has been obsessed with Alena but they go from talking about her dead mom to him saying he’s her Dom. Like that wasn’t even a gradual thing. Just you’re my sub now… I was just really cringey to me.
The non-romantic plot is what I enjoyed the most in this book. The found family vibes and the suspenseful plot were fantastic. It was also fun to see previously written scenes from another characters perspective.
I will absolutely be back for Jace and FOR SURE be reading the cousins series.

Alena Allen has no idea who she is working with. She just thinks her fellow forest Ranger, Loch Waring, is a funny friend and neighbor but he is hiding something. Loch is really there to protect Alena from her family’s secret mafia connections. Being in that world himself can he keep her safe and keep his true feelings for her hidden too? This starts more lighthearted and campy with them in the wilderness getting to know one another plus an insta love vibe even though Loch never really met Alena first hand than a dark romance. There is some k*nk and interesting scenes shown and talked about too as not only is he in the mafia, he has an OF page too. Part of a series but each brother’s story is a stand-alone. Told in first person and dual POV.

This series is seriously an escape… you have to jump in judgment free and then shake it off once you’re done… when I explain this to my husband he is like… WHAT?!?!?!?!
We’ve been waiting for this story and I knewwwww it was going to break me.. we’ve experienced a little bit of it from the previous books but being in their POV was HEARTBREAK!!!
This was SPICY… OMG
I loved how we got almost two different worlds.. them away and alone and them immersed in the life. The club and the initiation was…. Whhhheeewwwwwwww
You have to read the extra chapter its. Soooo goood!!
As always read your TW’s and hopefully by this book you know what you are getting into.. LOL

This. Book. Was. Everything. I. Hoped. For.
Loch blew my mind wide open. I thought I had a good bead on the entire storyline but Kelly got me with a particular twist I never saw coming. There was so much in this book that I don’t even know where to start! The entire cast of characters had me feeling some type of way in every chapter. So many things hit me close to my heart. Once again I would laugh and cry in the same chapter. All the references to The Wedding Singer, all the sweet and swoony moments and the spice was top notch!! And Alena!! Oh my gods she was a complete and total bada$$!! I loved every moment!! It’s another six star read by Kelly !!

ARC reader here! Another highly anticipated ARC and let me just say… Oh. My. God. I hated having to put this down. Loch? Alena? Everyone? Love them all so much. Everyone’s stories are so complex, yet surprisingly easy to follow along. I absolutely need to read the other books now! The relationships are so complex. Everyone is still so supportive though, even when they are fighting it’s clear how much they all care about each other. I may or may not have shed some tears. Bratva, the whole not-mafia mafia thing. Loved it. Banter, spicy spice, this book was just perfect and everything one could ever want!

Holy hotness Batman. Woo!! That book was seeeeeexy. And with a whole lot of love and a little suspense. Koch is just the sweetest guy wrapped up in a tattooed alpha package. I loved that he’s loved her basically his whole life. And Alena was such a strong female character. She stood up for herself but ultimately forgave because she knew he didn’t do it to hurt her and was kind of forced into it. And they definitely came out stronger on the other side always with open communication and trust. I haven’t read the rest of the series but I’d love to read Jace’s story next to find out what happens with all the loose ends.

Holy hotness! I need to take a vacation in Kelly’s big beautiful smutty brain because how does she keep making these books better and better??? I was absolutely obsessed with this one (just like all the others before it!) She not only got me all hot and bothered but she pulled at my heartstrings like she was playing a ukulele 😏 Seriously though this story was all I could have wanted and so much more! Loch is such an amazing man and I couldn’t have picked a better queen for him if I tried. A true story of love overcoming any obstacle in its way. 5 stars all day long

oh how I love the longing and yearning Loch has for Alena. He wants her more than anything, she's his queen, but he can't have her. He will do anything for her.
I love how Alena feels safe enough to express her fantasies and desires. klKnowing she's safe with Loch to explore them.
Their connection and fate is been present all their lifes. The beach twice, in her home, Luvpounder and DirTgirl, I mean come one, these 2 are ment to be. And I love their HEA.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL 😭I was kicking and screaming THE ENTIRE TIME !!! Kelly is so talented !! The story line was freaking awesome !!! The way Kelly keeps the plot & stories straight for all the characters!!! Even The Queens get their spotlights !!! And the banter between everyone is hilarious. AND THE SPICE 🥵GOOD GOD !!! The Queen has done it again, another dirty talking, swoon worthy, panty melting good time. Loch not only knows his way around a girls body but knows how to get in her heart and the love him and Alena share is drool worthy. The banter, the spice, the action packed scenes as well as the heart warming ones all were all consuming.

Whewww this book was SPICY 🌶️
I loved Loch and Alena’s story. The love, protectiveness, and the smuttiness between these two was phenomenal. If you love a good mafia but not mafia, with a very protective MMC (plus other kings who protect their queens), this is the book for you!
