Forces make the world go 'round - literally. This book provides a quick and easy-to-understand introduction to the quantity force and an overview of the many types of forces that shape our universe. Besides enlightening and down-to-earth explanations, you'll find plenty of detailed exercises demonstrating how the concepts and formulas can be applied to real-world situations. Knowledge of high school algebra is sufficient to follow the calculations. For more information, check out the table of contents.

This is a great little book for anyone with an interest in the basic engineering principles of forces. It uses simple language and simple examples to illustrate the simplicity of the fundamental concepts of forces. This is a great help for students, a good refresher for industry professionals, and a neat resource for non-engineers with an interest in physics, science, and/or engineering.
This author has the ability of explaining complex subjects on a step by step easy to understand way. This book is about basic physics, but understanding (and getting to like) these topics are essential for further study. This book is like a review of basic information and some other forces we do not hear of so often.
