Eyeland is a remote seaside resort that feels like a controlled paradise.
Perpetual blue skies. Endless beaches. Food and drinks delivered daily. No clocks. No schedules. Just relaxation.
It’s picturesque, surreal, and deeply wrong.
Behind the luxury, private rooms resemble prison cells. Guests speak in cryptic phrases. Surveillance cameras watch from every corner.
Jonas Myers is brought to Eyeland against her will—and no one will answer her questions. With no way out, the only option is to play along. But Jonas has never survived by following the rules.
As she searches for the truth behind the resort and its shadowy rulers, her grip on reality begins to unravel. Is she being monitored by enemies? Manipulated by allies? Or trapped inside a carefully constructed illusion designed to strip away her identity—and her secrets?
Inspired by The Prisoner and Black Mirror, Eyeland is a gripping psychological horror packed with mind-bending twists, exploring surveillance, addiction, loss, control, and the terrifying limits of free will.
Escape may be impossible. But the mind is still your own… until it becomes the most terrifying place to be trapped.

EYELAND: A Psychological Thriller February 3, 2026
I picked up Eyeland after seeing it recommended by Freida McFadden, and I’m so glad I did! It was such an intriguing and atmospheric read.
From the very beginning, there’s that subtle feeling that something isn’t quite right, and that sense of unease kept me turning the pages. Jenna Moquin creates a setting that feels vivid and slightly unsettling in the best way. The story builds at a steady pace, layering in tension and mystery without ever feeling rushed.
The characters felt real and believable, each with their own motivations and secrets, which made the twists even more impactful. This is the kind of book that slowly pulls you in and lingers with you after you’ve finished.
If you enjoy suspenseful reads with a strong sense of place and a quiet, creeping tension, Eyeland is definitely one to add to your TBR.
My first psychological horror and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
This was a really interesting concept that blended psychological horror with mystery and thriller vibes. The pacing was great and there was a lot of action. I finished it within a few days. Highly recommend to fans of thrillers!
A fever dream of a book that keeps you on your toes! I do wish the author had explored the hows and whys of the Eyeland a bit more though, such an interesting premise deserves a little more backstory.
