When a book starts me off giggling, I know I'm in for a ride! You too might end up as I, singing "it's all about the d@ck, about the d@ck, about the d@ck...." when you read the first sentence in the very first paragraph, "Another piece of advice: if she asks to see your d@ck, don’t be shy about whipping it out." Aha! But it's not just about the d@ck! While there IS a lot of d@ck, and it's well...utilised... to maximum effect for the female recipient, there was real depth to this story (no pun intended....)
In all honesty, I wasn't expecting such a vibrant and emotional read. What this author did, totally captured me in all the feels, yes, THOSE feels too, but the heart wrenching emotional rollercoaster was an unforeseen bonus. I haven't read this author before and hells bells, I can't wait to catch up on her blacklist! Her writing was impeccable, emotional, humourous, tense, fast paced drama and a real plot to back up the yummy explicit scenes. And boy did her story ever back it up!
There was nothing random in this read, it has a strong plot, it has strong works building, it has strongly crafted characters and it touches on societies that demean women in a very realistic and credible manner. It follows 2 very different yet very similar personalities, both of whom wormed their way into my heart. Contrary to the first paragraph, Demi, a linguist, and a fine visual specimen of a human, undertakes a daunting mission where his purpose is to seduce a "target" for information. Daunting, well yes, he poses as a bot designed to...service...in a brothal... which doesn't go as planned. He isn't only physically beautiful, his soul is beautiful, his entire being is beautiful. I loved seeing his reaction to his "target" and I adored how she caught him totally off guard. In the feelings department. That wasn't part of the plan. Nor were the subsequent events, soooo much more complicated than he could ever imagine. The author shows all sides of him and Nerissa, the "target" immaculately. Nerissa is a super cool character. All her life she's subservient, accepting her "role" as a female who has no voice in her society, irrespective of being a Princess, she toes the line. She's shy, unimposing, uncertain, and about to be forced into a marriage she finds repugnant. So what does she do? She replaces her aunt (whose awesome btw!) as the client in the brothal, thinking she could have one weekend of bliss before she has to fulfil her duty. What she didn't count on was just how MUCH bliss!
Gosh, these characters! OMG, so well brought to life, the secrets, the insecurities, are loud. The love that blossoms from a lie, just warmed me all over. Watching Nerissa take a stand, warmed me all over. And Demi, hell, he lit an inferno within me. His disgust at how Nerissa has been, and is treated, shows his caring, his respect and his concern for her. I adored his protective juices coming to the fore, I adored his tender treatment of Nerissa and I sure as heck enjoyed seeing how she got under his skin. A beautiful sigh worthy love story, with all the angst and drama that goes with it.
Oh heck, the turn this story took was stunningly wound, and so very thrilling, although, learning of Demi's and Nerissa's upbringing really made me want to cry at the injustices. I loved seeing their vulnerabilities, again, so well portrayed by the author. Feels, remember? Not only do we get loads of spice that almost ignited the pages, we get a read that is full of entitled assists, a read full of what lengths some will do to get what they want, a read that moved me immensely. And a read that left me grinning at the HEA!

OH MY GOD, I absolutely adored this reading it in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. When the first page literally has me choking on my coffee with the line, As crazy as it sounded, my d🍆ck might be the only thing that could save the universe." I just know I'm going to love this book. As a new to me author Ms Palmer totally nailed it with the humour, world building and characters, and damn those plot twists had me on the edge of my seat, which more than once had me cursing out loud. Even though I've started with book 4 it can be read as a standalone, though I'm sure as hell going to be reading the other three as the author now has gained a new fan for life. I was hooked by the fast paced action, delightful story and the spice was definitely out of this world.

I absolutely adored these two characters both with secrets of their own but a match made in the stars. Demi is the sweetest cinnamon roll MMC, who's backstory had me wanting to hug him on more than one occasion. But it was his treatment of Nerissa that had me falling head over heels for him. Not only does he risk everything for her but his kind, caring personality helps bring out the person she is inside. Hell yeah you better believe I loved everything about him.
Nerissa was definitely a surprise, with more than a few secrets of her own I found I loved her character immensely. Shy, sweet and duty bound to fulfill a wedding contract, she grows throughout the story until she becomes a force to be reckoned with in her own right.
As I said I loved everything about this story, expecting spicy fun but getting so much more. I really can't wait to read the others in this series as this one was totally chef's kiss for me. Perfect for those who love a sci-fi romance with a twist. And did his d🍆ck save the universe I hear you ask, well I guess you need to read it for yourself to find out. Highly recommend 😁

This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone….This is a futuristic sci-fi story, with different worlds, starships that take “jumps” into other dimensions, so if its something you like, defiantly pick up the book, perhaps the entire series!
We meet Demi (Demetri) who is to play a sex bot at a brothel, he’s been asked to obtain information about a person of interest, but in order to get that information he needs to service an older lady…..Mission accepted by Demi, and he starts is “routine” to extract information, but he starts to think something is off about the lady he’s with, and turns out hes correct, its not the right person, its her niece….OH NO!!!! Nerissa and Demi enjoy the weekend together, but he doesn’t know until the last day when the actual person arrives and outs Nerissa. The mission continues to help Nerissa on her home world, and then the worst happens, more death, and many unwanted things happen, but it’s nothing that will harm the main characters.
If you’ve read the previous books by Leda Palmer, then you would have a greater understanding of the characters, and how each fall in line with one another. It’s nice to sit and read a book that has good character development even if its through multiple book, but thats the beauty of a series, we get snippets of characters in the hopes they will eventually get their own story.

I was lucky to receive an ARC copy of this story. While this is the 4th in the series, it is the first one that I have read. I can say that I do not feel that I missed out, with not having read the others. I certainly want to read them now to learn more about the other characters. This story focuses on Demi and Princess Nerissa. Demi is a linguist by trade posing as a bot in a Brothel to find favor with a special client to gain intel his and his friends need. What he soon finds out is the client is not at all who he thought she would be.
Princess Nerissa, while still in mourning over the loss of her father, steals her aunt’s VIP pass to and exclusive brothel. While in mourning attire she uses the Aunt’s identity to enter the brothel for a weekend escape before she is forced into an arranged marriage for her family’s political gain.
While together they share more than time together in a room, they share secrets and desires.
What happens when her aunt and brother find out and drag her back home? Hidden desires, spying, poison, murder, and so much more. The best part is the ending, and I won’t get it away but the birth of a Hybrid sheds some light and gives Demi added hope!

Thank you to Leda Palmer for giving me another ARC for this series! I received an ARC for Barbarian Voyage last year and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to see Brothel Voyage coming out.
The book starts off very spice heavy which makes sense since the main characters meet in a brothel. The pacing moves a little slow in the beginning due to all of the necessary plot set up and extra worldbuilding. Once the characters leave the brothel, the pace picks up again. Demi and Nerissa were an interesting couple to follow since Demi helps Nerissa relax and give up control while Nerissa helps Demi trust in others and reveal his true self.
The last like third of the book moves at an incredibly fast pace. I was stressed from the beginning reading about Demi pretending to be an escort bot when he's a human and the stress just increases from there. The plot always kept me on my toes and whenever I thought I knew where the story was heading, it would completely take me by surprise.
I really enjoyed this book like I enjoyed the other in the series. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and will be going back to read the other two I haven't read yet.

This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a complex, interesting, steamy, fast-paced, hidden identity, sci fi romance between Demi, the male humanoid linguist lead, and Nerissa, the female human princess lead. I enjoyed Demi’s genuine care for Nerissa and her needs. I enjoyed the immediate jump to steamy physical intimacy and the way that set the tone for the rest of the story. I enjoyed Nerissa’s initiative, especially given the restricted situation she’d been raised in. I enjoyed the supportive and integrated secondary characters. I enjoyed the balance between character/relationship development and non-romance plot. I enjoyed the continuation of the non-romance story throughout the series. I enjoyed the set up for the next story in the series. I found the romance stands alone but the non-romance plot is best appreciated as part of the series.

This was my first venture into alien/other worldly romance. I love all things romance and have read a huge variety - shifter, omegaverse, dark, sports, sunshine/grumpy, etc. etc. - but alien hasn't hit my radar until now! I went into this book not really knowing what to expect and ended up loving this story! Leda Palmer does an excellent job balancing sweet, spice, and angst. Nerissa is a strong MFC who is engaged to someone else (arranged) and meets Demi at a brothel where she went for a final weekend hurrah! They found love in the least expected place and then fought to be together. The spice is spicing and, by the end, you are truly invested in their happiness and rooting for them! I highly recommend!

When the fist sentence involves "whipping it out", and then " my 🍆 might be the only thing that could save the universe ," you know it's time to check your scuba gear because we are about to dive in guys! The story starts off with Demi, a linguist posing as a bot, and Nerissa, a princess posing as her aunt, using a brothel for a intergalactic mission and an escape from reality and an arranged marriage. The banter and quirks had me laughing out loud. The spice was on point and the mission was a success tied up with a nice HEA bow. This is my first book by this author and I received my copy from her and this is my honest review. I have definitely started following Leda and cant wait to start the beginning of this series!

Alien Romance? Yes, Please!
Leda's story that follows Demi and his goddess, I give 4 stars and 4 peppers for spice. Funny at times, has some drama, and of course, I loved the twists when they popped up.
I felt that this one out of the series is a little slower in pace, but it fits both the main characters, and also not quite instant love. I think it's more lust at first sight for both characters.
Book 5, I'd be happy to wait to read and see where else these interconnecting stories lead.
Note: If you're going to read this book, you do not have to start with book 1, but I'd advise it if you want to better understand the other characters that lead into the following books. I didn't read them out of order at first, starting with book 2, 3, before reading book 1.

I expected to enjoy this as I love space and romance so the genre interested me right off the hop but what I wasn't expecting was how much I loved the story, the characters and the humor! This was a bit fast paced but not negatively so. Kept me hooked and read this in a day and a half only due to having responsibilities to attend to or id have never put it down until the end! This is part of a series but I never felt lost or like i was missing anything during this story! If you love the idea of space and almost guardians of the galaxy level humor and missions mixed with romance youd love this!

There’s a unique blend of sci-fi and romance here that creates a story with both scale and intimacy. The setting adds a sense of wonder, while the relationships keep everything grounded and
engaging.
What stood out most to me was the connection between the characters. There’s a pull there that keeps you invested, even as the story moves through its more expansive, cosmic elements.
For me, this lands at 4 ⭐ because it was engaging and immersive, though I found myself wanting a bit more depth in certain moments.

This was a really enjoyable read! What stood out the most for me was how the story kept me curious the entire time. I was always wondering what was going to happen next, and that sense of anticipation kept me turning the pages.
It did take me a couple of tries to fully get into the story at the beginning. i strongly believe it's because i'm starting on book 4, but once I did, I was locked in. The plot really starts to unfold in a way that pulls you in, and the drama builds nicely as you go.

This is not usually the genre I read, but the premise seemed interesting enough that I was intrigued. That being said, I did hesitate for a moment before jumping in - and then I was hooked!
This book is spicy and funny and heartwarming all at the same time. I had not read the prior books, but it wasn't necessary because they are all standalone. I will probably go back and read them at some point because they are just that good. I was so invested in the characters and what was happening that I flew through it to see what happened next.

Brothel Voyage is an intergalactic love story, full of action and adventure, backstabbing, blackmail, and murder. Demi is a linguist and spy, posing as a bot in a brothel, where Nerissa has escaped for the weekend, so she can enjoy as much pleasure as possible before doing her family duty and marrying a man she loathes. However, she is hiding secrets of her own. As soon as the two of them touch, passion ignites, and feelings follow. Can they trust each other with the truth in time to save the galaxy? A well-written, fun story with a fast pace.

I think Leda did a great job at character building and world-building in this book. Never in my day would I think an intergalactic romance novel would be up my alley, but here we are, here it is, and I’m here for it.
I really like how Leda kept the book light and witty with humor, spicy without overpowering the book, but she also was able to seamlessly incorporate darker matters into her material. The drama in this novel was top-tier, and the plot was exceptional.
I really appreciated how the story had some twists and turns throughout the book.

I really enjoyed this one, these two are very different then what I usually read so it was a fun read for me. The spice and tension was top notch, the humor they both have was refreshing and I really enjoyed reading their journey!

This book had no chance of a slow start; it was captivating from the very first page.
The storyline was incredibly imaginative and enjoyable.
There were no surprises, I could easily predict the plot’s direction so it wasn’t particularly thrilling.
The pace did dip halfway through but I felt it picked up again.
I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and was very pleased with the ending.

This was a fast-paced sci-fi romance with a unique premis: spy work, hidden identities, and a complicated arrangement that turns into something real. I really enjoyed the chemistry and the way the relationship developed under pressure.
It definitely leans more on the steamy side than I usually prefer, and there was some language I could’ve done without, but the story kept me hooked and was easy to fly through.

Such a great read
Demi agrees to help get info on the smugglers. He gets way more than he bargained for! Pretending to be a sexbot! This book is funny, sad, and makes you so angry at some people. I think this book was my favorite of the series so far! So much happens and Smudge being pregnant. Lux not knowing how to handle his baby "kitty" being pregnant, so funny how much he loves his pet!

I loved that it’s intertwined and completely stands on its own two feet! I had a busy week, so was reading during little stolen moments, however I didn’t want to put my kindle down!!

Who would have expected love to happen in a Galactica brothel?
I really enjoyed this story. So much detail went into describing an entirely new world and space crafts and even new beings I never would have thought of. Now I need to go and read the 3 books that came before this so the few things I didn't understand will hopefully make sense (also the only reason its 4 stars and not 5)

I didn’t read 1-3 but after reading this one, I need to go back for a proper introduction of characters. Lol. I loved the inspiring and empowerment of the women in this book. Essentially overthrowing the patriarchy and coming to terms with women’s rights and issues that need to be addressed. For the sci-fi romance that it was, Leda tackled some big topics. Loved it! 🥰

Brothel Voyage by Leda Palmer is full of spice, intrigue, familial murder, and a litter of hybrid pets! Demi pretends to be a brothel bid to get information, but he must be chosen by a princess to get it. Turns out the princess is actually the younger niece who's there to have a last hurrah before having to marry a sleazy prince. There's political intrigue, sleazy monarchs, and murder, too!

I know I have said this about every one of the books in this series so far, but I loved this book!
Dare I say it might have been my favorite of the 4, and there is going to be another one!! If you love sci-fi, sexy aliens, colorful characters, romance, and a bunch of strong female leads, then you need to do yourself a favor and dive into this series immediately!

This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept it all the way through. Demi and Nerissa's voyage was a delight to read, and I'm loving the mystery threading through this series. This author has built a world (several worlds) that is interesting and engaging.

This an interconnected standalone but it is the first of the series I have read. Will be going back to read the other three books for sure. This book was attention grabbing right off the bat and kept me wanting to read. I love the growth that both Demi and Nerissa go through during the story.

First let me say this is not a trope I’ve read before and while I thought the book was good and well written and held my interest I’m not sure I’ll read this trope again.

This was a full speed ahead intergalactic love story. With great banter and fun times to the HEA. This book has elements of an interconnected series, but it can be right all by itself. Did not want to put it down. Had my smile up the whole time.
