This is a vital book for those in sales and marketing, particularly direct sales. The hardest thing for a company to overcome is losing good people due to marketing rejection. The expectation that because they like the cookie everyone else will too. A few "no thanks", and they begin to reject their own belief in how good the cookie is.
Thick Skinned covers why we are thin-skinned and and to become Thick Skinned in a positive manner. How to accept and utilize helpful feedback while not becoming closed off and how to neutralize the "critics" with no fruit on their trees.

If the sign of brilliance is to take a complex idea and make it simple, this book is brilliant. Communicating bottom line concepts with specific examples of how to grow a thicker skin as you grow your leadership success and still maintain a humble and open heart sounds difficult at best if not impossible. Thick Skinned shows you how. Thanks for the clarity and step by step guidance to being more successful in my quest to be the best I can be.

Great quick read on leadership. I really enjoyed the first part where understanding what becoming a leader will bring, critics. Then it goes on to fully explain great methods for becoming an overall great leader towards your life purpose.

Wonderful book on leadership - sharing examples and practices of historical leaders. The book promotes following in their steps, the thought process, journaling, etc. Looking forward to reviewing and applying the seven principles.

Required reading for anyone looking to achieve something big. It was so much more than developing a thick-skin, but a blueprint for achievement beyond the ordinary.
