we finally get Anaki's story. it turned out a little differently then I thought it would. and my suspicion was correct. we finally learn why he is way he is regarding anything sexual.
I also enjoyed this intertwined with Locke's book so we got some refreshers. Abuela was a fun character. I'm curious if we will learn about Luis when he gets older?
I can't wait till Bones book comes out.

Yey... my water dragon
I have been eagerly awaiting this book and it hasn't disappointed... once I started I couldn't put it down reading in one sitting. So apologies if this review doesn't make sense hahaha.
So this about Anaki and Elana.. Anaki being our favourite water dragon. He's funny, kind and caring but we always knew he was suffering deep down and to finally read his story was heartbreaking.
One of the things I love about this series is how both MC are broken in some way, and through the powers of time, mates and the moon goddess that pain gets replaced with more love than they will ever need. I also liked that this one the FMC wasn't some perfect pin up. She's a single mum with stretch marks and curves, and yet she's loved all the same.
Vera has done it again with yet another book in this series. The world building is coming together nicely, and I can't wait to see who she does next, though I am hoping for bones next, but also looking forward to switch and sizzles stories as they will be nuts too.
If you like your books to have a darker edge but also be about 2nd chances and a deeper love than you can even imagine then please give this series a read, you won't be disappointed

Thank you to Vera Foxx and her team for the eARC, I am very thankful! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this story! I have been silently cheering on Anaki throughout this series and I was glad to get to know more about this sexy golden retriever!
Anaki, like the rest of his shifter pack, is living on Earth after being banished from the Elysian Realm and being rejected by his fated mate. As a result of that rejection, he is slowly getting sicker and has lost the ability to feel his dragon. As he’s loosing hope, he finds his second chance mate in the sister of his alphas future Luna. Elena is struggling with taking care of her young son and elderly grandmother due to a chronic disease that causes her to have trouble walking and immense pain. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a hot biker who claims to be a dragon. Despite her conviction to push him away, there’s no denying the instant attraction she feels towards him and he’s not making it easy for her.
I loved these characters! I have been in love with Anaki since he was first introduced!!! There’s just not much that can beat a hot, but very sensitive biker who would do anything to protect you and your family. Anaki’s charismatic and has a a big personality, he’s what Elena needed. Elena managed to survive through a lot but all that life threw at her taught her to not trust many. They helped each other grow and get through the trauma of their pasts.
This was just such a great read and a great addition to the Iron Fang series. It’s definitely full of spice and for my freaky babes that love paranormal fantasies. I can’t wait for the next book! It’s Bones turn to fall head over heels for his second chance mate!!

Hang on get comfortable you won’t be putting this down until the last page has been turned seeing each of our rejected and unloved find so much more than they expected. Anaki like the rest of his pack living on Earth after being banished from his realm after being rejected by his fated mate as a result of the rejection he is getting sicker, slowly losing his dragon, hope of a second chance mate, and even with the knowing all this he will continue to do good for others. Elena is doing everything she can to take care of her son, her grandmother, due to chronic disease that causes her to have trouble walking, always in pain, and so getting involved with a biker who claims to be a dragon is not on her list of things to do 😊. But the magnetic pull is there in full force and neither of them can ignore it and the more she fights the stronger the pull and the more he comes around well she he shows her he can be trusted, but is it enough, will it stop him from losing the other half of himself, will he be able to help her with her situation, and can they find happiness despite the healing they are providing for one another?

I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER for this one and let me tell you…..IT WAS WORTH IT!!! 👏🏻🩵Anaki was EVERYTHING I was hoping he would be!!! While he is more go with the flow and not big for conflict or dominant his dragon is the complete opposite and absolutely dominated!! And I was here for it!!! Yes please!! I LOVED every single minute of this one!! Elena was perfect and so understanding ahh it was just AMAZING!!! Oh and don’t get me started on Abuela she had me rolling so much in this one!! Favorite line “What is wrong with you! Is your p—y broken!” 😂😂🙈 the spice was HOOOOOTTTT 🙌🏻 the story takes place at the same time as Locke’s story did so I would suggest reading Locke to understand more of Elena and her families backstory but you don’t have to. I would also suggest reading Bear as Anaki & Bear are besties and they appear in each others books but again you don’t have to!! So excited for the next I absolutely love this series!!

This book is book 5 l the Iron Fang series by Vera Foxx. Vera Foxx is an amazing author, and I highly recommend you check her out. I loved this book. I loved watching Anaki build his little family. I loved Abucla with her chanda at the ready to hit someone. Both Anaki and Elena are overcoming past insecurities and moving forward with their family together. Anaki is so good with Elena's son, Luis. The spicy scenes are great, and I love that he calls her Mama. Anaki and Elena heal each other's souls and love each other fiercely. If you love dragons, a cinnamon roll MMC, single mom romance, this book is for you.

This series is sooo dynamic and so good. I love reading about how intense it is for these shifters when they meet their mates that will save them from turning feral and going crazy. The chemistry is off the charts and hot to read!! The way this couple gets together makes for a really good read that you sit on the edge of your seat with the non-stop action. I loved every moment of this read!!! Can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us with this series!!! This is a must read!

I absolutely love Vera’s worlds. This story was amazing. Elena is feisty and I love her. Abuela had me rolling. Anaki, oh my sweet water dragon, he’s different from the gruff MMCs from the rest of Iron Fang but his dragon is a whole other level. I loved the dynamic between them and Elena. You have to read book 1 Grim but not necessarily the rest to read this one, though I recommend it for some of the other character backstories. Can’t wait to see what’s next in this world.

I'll never get sick of this author and the worlds she creates.
Anaki was such a sweetheart puppy dog cinnamon roll. What he went through and his battles with depression and suicide broke my heart. I'm so glad he got not only his mate but a child, too.
Elena also had a heartbreaking story but she was so strong. Her and Anaki were just perfect together.
Gearing up for Bones next and thank the goddess because he deserves his mate.

Anaki was so great!
Vera Foxx is fantasy at giving you a whole lot of plot with a bunch of sweetness and some great spice thrown in, and this book was no different.
Happening at the same time as Locke’s book, we get to see what happens with Emm’s sister and her Abuela. Elena is a complicated woman. She gives off a prickly exterior, but it’s a mix of protection, trauma, and trying to be like her sister. She’s got an immense amount of love for her family. Luis, Elena’s son, is such a cute kid and I love the immediate connection him and Anaki have.
Anaki is so sweet, and my heart breaks for him and everything he tries to keep hidden. He is a soft soul and due to his own trauma, fears he is too weak to be accepted by anyone. But Anaki shines bright like the sun and I loved seeing him bloom.
The spice was absolutely spicing, and get ready for Domme Elena!

Cinnamon Roll Dragon in love
Have to say Anaki is my all time favorite. I thought i loved Bear and that would be my favorite forever out of the series. I was so wrong. Read this book. All of Vera's book will suck you into another world and you will never want to leave it. Can not wait for the next one!

Amazing read!
One of my favorites and very much waited for! I am so glad anaki got his soulkin! It was the perfect blend and loved seeing and hearing about the others. I cant wait for the next ones! Excited for bo es to get his spicy happy ending and Luis is gonna be a force to recon with!

This book is a gem! I have been looking forward to Anaki's story since the first book Grim and it did not disappoint! I loved how Anaki is a bit of cinnamon roll MC (Who doesn't love a sweetheart!) and his mate is a strong woman who faces everything thrown at her with fire. It does have a bit of taboo in it, but I think that made it even more fun to read. I devoured this book and it's definitely one of my top favorites in her MC series.

Oh my goodness. Anaki is so sweet. The pain you feel for him at the beginning, the loneliness, and then the longing when he meets her. And she's got pain of her own, physical and mental. And when you learn about Anaki's past. I was close to tears. But the ending was so good.

Get ready to fall head over feet! This story delivers the perfect blend of a sweet cinnamon roll hero and his... decidedly less sweet dragon. I was absolutely squealing with giddiness and kicking my feet as I read. The way Anaki and Elena connect? Chef's kiss! He's exactly the gentle soul Elena needs, and she's not afraid to be a little bossy when the moment calls for it. 😉 I adored this story and can't wait to see where Vera's journey takes us next!
