Sadie Bouffant doesn’t do feelings, romance, or anything that might smudge her perfect winged eyeliner. Immortality is easier that way. But when a vengeful sire kidnaps Elliott - her loyal thrall with benefits - she’s ready to burn the Highlands down to get him back.
Elliott Blythe has spent forty years waiting for Sadie to see him as more than a blood bag errand boy. But he’s done with that. If he survives the psycho vampire’s experiments, he plans to tell Sadie exactly how he feels - preferably while not chained to a dungeon wall.
With her undead coven in tow and her temper on a short leash, Sadie sets out to rescue the one man who’s never asked for her heart - but might have stolen it anyway.
Can she save her fated mate without breaking a stiletto? Or is this twisted love story about to go up in flames?

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that is about to be released on October 1st called, Enthralled By You. This is book 2 in this series. This book is about Sadie, she's a vampire who is in a complicated relationship with Elliot but she won't call it a relationship because she doesn't do relationships. But when he's kidnapped and being held in a dungeon by a very powerful vampire, Sadie has to get him back before it's too late. Sadie didn't fully appreciate Elliot until she lost him, but now she has realized how much he truly means to her, and she will do whatever it takes to get him back. Sadie's friends (characters from the first book) join her on this road trip to rescue Elliot, and I was really happy to get a lot more storyline for those characters and their lives currently. This book picked up right where book one left off. I enjoyed the multiple timelines, learning how Sadie was turned into a vampire, how she met Elliot, and then their lives now as well as getting both of their points of view throughout this story. This story was so much fun to read, I didn't want to put it down! It's totally perfect for spooky season! I absolutely love this series and I can't wait for book 3! 💚📚
Thank you to the author and the publisher for this ARC of Enthralled By You, in exchange for an honest review.
Enthralled by You is another great story by Angela Pearse. This book can be read as a stand alone but reading Flossed in Love first will help to become acquainted with some of the characters. This story focuses on Sadie and Elliot and their road to finding their happy ending. Although they face some bumps along the way, it is a fun, enjoyable read. The characters were well written and much growth is found in both of them as the story progresses. Its warming to see barriers break and feelings finally coming to the surface. You will feel all the feels as you read this book. It will be a wonderful addition to anyone's library! A definite must read!
Fiery, funny, and fast-paced, this lighthearted vampire romance flits between two points of view (vampire Sadie and her human quasi-boyfriend Elliot) and three timelines (1758, when Sadie was a human prostitute living in London; 1983, when she met Elliot; and present-day, after Elliot's kidnapping). Although there's lots of bloodsucking and some mortal peril, the tone is breezy and the story reads quickly. It wraps up with a sweet romantic ending but some definite open threads involving Elliot's kidnapper, setting the stage for the series to end with a bang when the third book in the series comes out in February.
(Although Enthralled By You could be enjoyed as a standalone, the characters and their world were introduced and the central problem of this novel began in Flossed In Love. I found that book darker and less exciting, but I'm very glad I stuck with the series and can't wait to read the conclusion.)
[I received a complimentary ARC from the author. Opinions are my own.]
I was happy to receive an eArc of the second book in Pearse's Fanged and Flirty series from BookSirens. I had already read the first book, and this one was an improvement on that! If one can say that a dark, gothic, paranormal vampire romance can also be light-hearted and witty, then now is the time. What a fun blend of the two, and done well. If you are interested in a fun take on a historical vampire romance, grab this series and get started. I think the third book will be the topping, as the FMC in that book is my favorite of these three strong vampire women. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I liked the approach of this series of taking the "youngest" vampire and working it's way through the books in reverse chronological age. One of the things this book did particularly well, was embracing a multiple timeline plot. I normally *hate* dual timelines in a book, and will usually avoid them altogether if I know in advance. This book had *three* concurrent timelines for the two MCs, and I very much enjoyed it! If you can sway me on that opinion, you have indeed wrote them well :)
This book carries straight on from the previous one (Flossed In Love), but switches focus to Sadie and Elliott and their history/love story. It was quite a culture shock from my previous read to dive straight into a 1700s brothel (pre-Elliott), but I liked learning about Sadie's backstory nonetheless.
Elliott and Sadie's "love story" is highly unconventional and brilliant, especially when they first meet (no spoilers, but it's amusing).
The other characters help to keep the story moving so we don't get too stuck in the past, and there's plenty of action and vampiric activity to keep things interesting (after all, we did end the previous book on a cliffhanger, so there are things that need to be resolved before it's too late!)
The characters have depth, there's action and anticipation, and you're left wanting just that little bit more. Go on, just a taste.
I'm hoping the next book focuses on Hester and Will because I'm keen to learn more about her and her particular skill...
Highly recommend for fans of Angela's previous books 😊
Entralled by You is such a good follow up to the first book and it had me hooked from start to finish. I loved getting new perspectives and watching the story expand in ways that made me even more curious about what’s next. The pacing is fast and the humor is sharp but there are also little touches of darkness and vulnerability that gave the story more depth.
I especially loved how the vampires aren’t one-note. Their evolution, their powers, and the way they move through the world made this book more than just romance, it felt like a full journey. It’s quirky, fun, and swoony in all the right ways.
Five stars because it simply worked for me. I’m excited for the next book.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
At the end of book one, Flossed in Love, cynical vampire Sadie’s blood toy turned true love Elliott was kidnapped by a powerful and vengeful vampire who made enemies of herself and vamp friends Hester and Floss. Now they’re desperate to rescue Elliott from whatever torturous machinations the ancient evil one has in store, but will they possibly arrive in time to save Elliott? Can they vanquish once and for all their very formidable foe, or will one or more of them be destroyed?
This also ends in a cliffhanger, and will most likely conclude with Hester & Will’s storyline. Angela Pearse’s writing is funny, wry, and still manages to be spicy.
I received an advance reader copy from the author and booksirens, and I’m sharing my honest review.
Alternate title: how many humans can get turned into vampires in half a book? Serious I love how everyone ended up being fanged by the end.
I had an ARC of this, but life got in the way and I didn't get to it until after release day. It's amazing how much moving to university eats into your reading time. Reading the second book in a series by an author who I've read so many books by has been really comforting whilst being away. I definitely recommend it.
I love how this swapped between the different timelines, telling Sadie and Elliott's story through the ages. Seeing them go from total strangers to finaces was really sweet. It's something I really enjoyed in the first book and am looking forward to in the third book. I just love how Angela writes.
I read 55% of this book in one sitting.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Book 2 of the Fanged and Flirty series. Thank you to Angela for having me as an ARC reader ♥️
I inhaled the first book, and if life hadn’t slowed me down, the same would have happened with this one!
Angela has a way of writing that sucks you in and pulls you along before you even know what’s happened, and I love that the more you read, the more the character’s back story is fleshed out, with the time jumps back to Sadie’s early years in the 1800s, and Elliott’s 1980s roadie career, until they finally come crashing into each other’s lives.
Move over Florence and Damian, because Sadie Bouffant just stormed in and stole the whole show! This fiery, stiletto-clad vampire and her "thrall with benefits" Elliott had me absolutely hooked. Their story is a perfect storm of action, spice, and hilarious vampire sass. The chemistry is off-the-charts, the tension had me on the edge of my seat, and the emotional payoff was so satisfying. I adored this wild vampire road trip even more than the first book, and now the wait for Book 3 is going to be pure torture! This series just gets better and better. 🖤👠
This book is a series of increasingly ridiculous circumstances unfolding, and I had so much fun with it. Sadie is absolutely unhinged and Elliot is steadfast in his dedication to Duran Duran. I appreciate that their story takes place over decades, instead of the instalove in the first book. I thought the three different timelines alternating would be confusing, but it was laid out really well. I'll definitely be picking up the last book.
I devoured this book in 18 hours. I absolutely loved it.
I loved reading about Sadie and Elliott's story.
The storyline differentiates between 3 different timelines and flows really well. There are short chapters that I found helpful when I only had time for little reading sprints.
I can't wait to read about Hester and Will's story.
Absolutely perfect for the fall cozy season . Sadie and Elliott's story was so perfect . This story has mystery , suspense and quite a few moments I completely burst into laughter. I love that we still get Damian and florence in here as well to continue in their story . I cannot wait for book three. be prepared to read this in one sitting as you will not be able to put it down
Still loving the Fanged and Flirty series! It’s quick, lighthearted, sexy, and a small respite from some of the darker books I’m accustomed to. I enjoy that each “couple” gets their own story, and I’m looking forward to Hester and Will’s.
Loving the 2nd book in the Fanged and Flirty series. This one is about Sadie and Elliot. Going through the history of Sadie makes you fall in love with her and wants you to cheer her along so she can get her man, Elliot. Great work, Angela, a Fantastic read.
This was a strong sequel in the Fanged and Flirty series, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from the previous entry in this series, it uses the historical elements perfectly to tell the story and had characters that I cared about during the storyline. I thought the way the vampire romance worked well overall and was able to create something that I was hoping for and glad it had that feel that I was looking for. Angela Pearse has a strong writing style and was glad I got to read this and how it used the world from Flossed in Love.

Second chapter of "Fanged and flirty" serie and I'm already waiting for the third... I was lucky enough to have an arccopy of it and I have to say that Angela always keeps me glue to the pages, she makes me laugh and cry and I can't stop reading her books. I don't want to say anithing about the story beacause I'm always scared to spoiler something... i can only say you must read it!
When her thrall of forty years is kidnapped, Sadie is determined to get him back. She may be too practical to give much thought to her emotions, but she knows Elliott is special, so she carts off her coven on a chaotic roadtrip to rescue him. Elliott has tried to get Sadie to see him as more than a blood source and convenient errand boy for decades. Now he's resolved to express his feelings to her if he ever gets free of the psychotic vampire keeping him imprisoned. Can Sadie and her crew save Elliott before it's too late? Can Elliott be emotionally intimate with stone cold Sadie?
Sadie's hard, practical shell hides a surprisingly caring individual. She truly enjoys giving others pleasure, though not without getting something in return. And she's completely smitten with Elliott, even if she refuses to acknowledge her feelings and is scared of change. Elliott is unusually resilient and surprisingly loyal. When things beyond his control change, he refuses to give up on his relationship with Sadie, pursuing her with an interesting mix of confidence and humility. The two are an interesting combination, though the mental games between them make it a little harder to believe real emotional connection is there between them.
Enthralled By You takes place immediately after Flossed in Love, and continues the chaotic mayhem and hijinks of the first book. A genuinely fun continuation of the series that romps through darker concepts with a surprisingly lighthearted feel.

💜 Blurb - Hell hath no fury like a bloodsucker in heels. Sadie Bouffant doesn’t do feelings, romance, or anything that might smudge her perfect winged eyeliner. Immortality is easier that way. Can she save her fated mate without breaking a stiletto? Or is this twisted love story about to go up in flames? Enthralled By You is a multi-timeline, dual POV paranormal romance with spice, humour and a vampire road trip. It follows on from Book 1 Flossed In Love. Available to pre-order. 🩷 Review - I really enjoyed this paranormal romance novel. It's the 2nd book in the series and follows on from where Flossed In Love finished off. The story was easy to follow and had a great cast of characters. plus the pacing was just right. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author. 💝 Thank you to the author, Angela Pearse for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Enthralled By You follows the glamorous yet emotionally closed-off vampire Sadie Bouffant on a high-stakes rescue mission that mixes romance, danger, and plenty of attitude. As a sequel to Flossed in Love, this book is definitely stronger in some ways—but still has its rough patches.
I really enjoyed getting a deeper look into Sadie’s past. Those flashbacks were the most compelling parts of the story and gave her character much-needed depth. However, the present-day plot didn’t hold my attention as much. Some parts—especially toward the end—felt a bit underdeveloped, like the author had a good idea but didn’t quite pull it off.
Elliott’s character finally gets some growth, which was satisfying, and the dynamic between him and Sadie had its moments. But overall, the pacing and execution were a bit uneven.
There’s still plenty of humor, spice, and a fun vampire road trip vibe, so it’s a light, entertaining read. Just don’t expect it all to click perfectly. A decent sequel with flashes of potential, but not quite as strong as it could have been.

I loved this vampire romance! Sadie isn't my favorite character from the coven, but the plot is suspenseful, witty, and steamy, with lots of likable supporting characters I already knew from the first part, and has thrall-mistress it's always been you tropes. The story takes place in different time periods, on the one hand in the present, on the other hand in Sadie's and Elliott's pasts. Sadie is dominant and protective, but with a soft core, and Elliott is a sweet golden retriever hero who has loved and supported her for decades. The story picks up where it left off in the previous book with a cliffhanger, so I recommend reading the series in order.
After her longtime thrall Elliott Blythe is kidnapped by Floss's vengeful sire Alexander, vampire Sadie Bouffant is beside herself and sets out on a rescue mission with her two friends and Floss's boyfriend Damian, with unexpected consequences...
If you like fast-paced vampire romance novels with endearing characters, suspense, humor and spice, this book is for you.
I received a free ARC of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and left voluntarily.
Enthralled by you is the second book in the fanged and flirty series. It is Sadie and Elliott's story.
It continues from Flossed in Love, which ended on a cliffhanger. We find out what happened to Elliott.

Sadie is devastated when Elliott is snatched on her watch,by Alexandra. She needs to find him before its too late.Alexandra is out for revenge and wants to kill Floss who he turned into a vampire, then she escaped.
Sadie finds out where Elliott might be and they all go on a road trip, with Damien,Floss'boyfriend
They all end up in Sadie's ex-boyfriends cabin. They eventually find Elliott and they admit their feelings for each other.
There are lots of laughs along the way with emotions, friendships, banter, telepathy,
steam, romance and a happily ever after.
Cannot wait for happens next in Biting my Knight Hester's story
I recieved an advanced review copy of this book for free via booksirens and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. This is the second book in the Fanged and Flirty series, and we get Sadie and Elliott's story. Sadie is a vampire, and Elliott has been her thrall for about 40 years. Elliott has feelings for Sadie, but does Sadie return those feelings, or is he just a blood source/errand boy for her? I liked Elliott right off the bat ;) Sadie was a harder sell for me.
Elliott is kidnapped and held captive in a dungeon by an evil vampire. Sadie is determined to save Elliott and has her coven at her back. Will Sadie save Elliott in time? Will Elliott tell Sadie how he really feels about her? How will Sadie respond to Elliott's admission of feelings? Will she continue to deny or ignore what the rest of us know?
I cannot wait to read the third book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This second book in the series is even cuter than the first. The novel switches back between time periods and POVs. The first POV is Sadie, Floss's flatmate, self-proclaimed coven leader, and originator of the scheme that keeps them all fed. The story shifts from her origin in 18th century London to the present and gives the reader a clear view of how she became who she is today. The second POV is Elliott, her thrall. The reader gets the background of their relationship from its beginning in the 1980s to the present as Elliott enjoys his own adventure during the novel. The two explore themselves as well as their relationship with one another throughout time and the current misadventure they are on, thanks to Alexander. I enjoyed this sequel very much and eagerly look forward to the next book in the series.
Book 2 of Fnaged and Flirty, and I was happy that we switched couples so we could delve further into the coven! I loved having Sadie's POV and past timeline to see how she got to where the vampires are now. Sadie and Elliott are so cute together, and I enjoyed the multi-timelines to see Sadie's start, their relationship start, and the current timeline following on from book 1. The danger element/ plotline was picks up in this one, so there was higher stakes out of the gate. But that meant was got to see them banding together! Again, check TWs before reading. So far I'm liking this trilogy, very in-keeping with spooky season.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. 3.75
This was a bit different than I expected , but it was a welcome detour and well received by me. Lol. It was an entertaining, humorous, fun, and suspenseful read
This took such different directions than I thought, and I can't wait to continue with the next female vampire to fall for someone. At times, I was frustrated with Sadie, but in the end, she let her base needs come through and admitted to an attachment to something other than a food source!!
A rousing lot of fun and laughs we could all use. I voluntarily read a free copy of this book provided by book sirens and am giving an honest review.
Sadie doesn't do romance. Sadie was an 18th century prostitute and was turned to a vampire. She's seen a lot in her undead life and a lot has haunted her. She keeps Elliot as her Thrall for 40+years. He's in love with her, but she keeps him at an arm's length. Floss' vengeful sire kidnapped him and Sadie is willing to burn the world down to get him back. along the way, she realizes that as much as she tried, she loves him desperately. The journey to find Elliot is bumpy and messy, but everything works out in the end. Hester's book is next, but I wish we knew a little more about Will going in.
This was a short little novella. I read this in a day. It has multiple points of view as well as multiple timelines. It's a great little vampire novel. If you haven't read book one, Flossed in Love, then I suggest you go read it. It will help set the tone for a book two.
Sadie is sassy, pretentious yet utterly tenacious and vengeful all in one. There are so many facets to her character that I absolutely loved. The journey to rescue Elliott was fun to read.
I also loved Elliott's character. His feelings for Sadie never wavering. Seeing the development of his character in this book was really great.
