Broken and Bound

Rate this book
She was stolen, broken, and left for dead. Now, Layla is free—but freedom comes with its own chains. The rebellion is rising, and Bash, the ruthless leader with silver-tongued charm, sees her as the key to victory. He will wield her like a weapon, bend her to his will…or break her trying.

Avery is done being a prisoner. His chains are gone, and his heart is set on one thing—the sister he lost. The rebellion gives him the resources to finally uncover the truth about Alice. But Bash sees the cracks in his resolve and knows exactly how to drive a wedge between him and Layla. Lies are whispered. Loyalties are tested. And the soul bond between Avery and Layla frays under the weight of war.

As swords clash and shadows rise, Layla is no longer just a queen—she is a warrior. A reckoning. A force that will shatter the world that tried to break her. But love is fragile in the face of destiny, and in the war for Entrana, only one thing is certain—either Layla and Avery will stand together, or they will fall apart forever.

Elizabeth Clayton delivers a gripping, emotionally charged sequel in Broken and Bound. Dark, raw, and beautifully written, this second installment dives deeper into secrets, trauma, and the fragile strength of healing. The characters are flawed, real, and unforgettable, and the twists hit with emotional weight. A perfect blend of suspense and heart—this book will leave you breathless and wanting more.

I definitely want more!!!

I loved the relationship between Layla and Avery. Layla’s character is the epitome of a strong FMC. I loved the story line so much. The second book was just as good as the first if not slightly better. The ending was everything I hoped for and more.

This was excellent m. Picked up right where they left off in book one. I love that we get to see the growth of both Layla and Avery and how they both conquer their own demons along with supporting each other through theirs. The book was a quick read despite it size but honestly it worth the time to reading it.
