Upon finishing this read, I was conflicted. I felt jipped in a way because, frankly, I was not brave enough to jack/make any of the cards (with their sentiments); yet, as a generic "read", it's a ton of entertainment and giggles. So, it's a great coffee table kind of book that can always deliver a chuckle or two no matter how many times you've read it.
You may be asking, WHY? It's entertaining because it's a book of common and casual occasion cards with sentiments that you only send your enemy, ok? (That's slight exxageration, but...). If you have bitingly sarcastic relationships with all of your friends, then this book is for you. But if you are like the rest of us, this book makes you a slightly uncomfortable voyeur and fantasizer. Just imagine sending a card to your coworker that says something like, (front) "10 Years! Who'd of Thought..."; (inside) "...It would take them this long to fire you?"
I mean, my generation would never send something like that. That's an outright insult. So, am I showing my age here? I hope not, but who knows (I apparently don't).
Anyway, for the $12 it cost me, I'd say that's a fair price for a few moments of fantasy payback and chortling.
