Ha, I know I just said that in the last volume I felt like all of the initial plotting was gone but in this volume a lot has come back. Solomon is finally making an appearance and we're getting hints that Uriel is fallen? Or something since Hell isn't rejecting him. We learn quite a few things about Dantalion, which I always enjoy and that cliffhanger!! And the best part was that the action felt consistent here. There was no abrupt cut to school life. Can't wait to see what's next!
I'm not really liking this whole bit with Empusa and saving William. I kind of just want it to go back to hijinks and antics. It's starting to get serious, and that's not why I started reading this series. Also, William has failed at being a realist so, it kind of kills the title.
Getting quite interesting here. William is abducted by (yet another) new party, and the demons (and angel... sort of) have to work together to get him back. The Solomon connection comes back with a vengeance.
