This book is amazing. It should be up there with the greats, which for me means The Scorpio Races, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, etc. (as different as this book is from those). Double Play is a fun, yet at times dark and emotional, story of magic in our world, in a unique way that pulled me in from the beginning and kept me intrigued. The prose is beautiful, the pacing great, and the characters are very real. I highly recommend Double Play, and hope it gets the popularity it deserves.

I enjoyed this book very much. The world and the characters were engaging, and the story was intriguing and well-crafted. I also liked the main character, and it was fun to read.

The author's growth since her first book is obvious, and I look forward to future stories!

Fun & Captivating

This book was really a fun read and I enjoyed the time it took me away. Best of all-the whole story is in is book! No cliff hanger endings leaving you feeling unfinished instead of rewarded for reading. This author packs a great creative read all into one amazing book. Hope this author writes more. :)

Interesting idea

Overall I enjoyed this book and loved the two main characters. The baseball references were not my favorite but that is probably because I am not a sports fan. The fact that I kept coming back to read during my spare time was a sign of an engaging story.

Great YA read. I really enjoy Nicolas' characters. I like characters that sweat, bleed, feel.
