I always loved stories and jokes. Even though I was absolutely terrible at spelling and grammar, I wanted to be a writer. I didn't know how to do that though, so I did a degree in Sociology and then worked lots of random jobs, while telling people that I wanted to be a writer.
I have been a pizza deliverer, insurance broker, shelf stacker, litter picker, photo-developer, receptionist, HR recruiter, admin assistant, office temp, cashier, waitress, customer service rep, barmaid, stand up comedian and a writer. I love being a writer the best.
I also love travelling, and am very lucky that I have been to lots of different places, including America, Africa, India, Thailand, France, Greece, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Cuba.
I now live in London with my husband and our two rescued cats (Smithers and Liono) and I hope that I get to write many more books and visit many more places.

Książka opowiada o Hope Kruszonce i jej rodzinie. Tym razem bohaterowie muszą zmierzyć się z pomyłką mamy Hope, która przez przypadek zamówiła 1000 puszek fasoli w sosie pomidorowym. Co zrobić z taką ilością? Jak się jej pozbyć i jednocześnie uratować kawiarnię?
"Cafe chaos. Fasolowa katastrofa" to książka idealna na dzieci w wieku szkolnym. Pokazuje, jak ważna jest rodzina, ale również jak nie zatracić siebie i nie bać się myśleć o sobie. Na przykładzie rodziny Kruszonka poznajemy, jak różnorodni mogą być członkowie danej rodziny, ale gdy trzeba wiedzą, jak zjednoczyć się i poradzić sobie w kryzysowej sytuacji.
Książka porusza również ważny problem, który wciąż pozostaje. Wielu z nas mogło spotkać się z nieprzyjemnymi komentarzami w szkole. Pamiętajmy jednak, że opinia o nas nie definiuje nas, lecz osobę, która nas obraża. Hope znalazła sposób, by sobie poradzić ze Skylą, jednak nie zawsze jest to łatwe.
Książka sprawdzi się dla dzieci w wieku szkolnym. Przyznam szczerze, że również dorośli mogą wiele się nauczyć, czytając tę pozycję. Gdybym mogła, chętnie dorzuciłabym ją do kanonu lektur szkolnych, bo mogłaby uzmysłowić dzieciom wiele spraw.
