In this realm, human women exist for one to supply milk for their minotaur overlords once they turn eighteen.
At twenty, Mira has already failed. While the rest of her village’s women were claimed and placed into service, her body remained stubbornly dry. But during a surprise visit from Herdmaster Drazak, Mira is discovered and taken—removed from her home and delivered to the stables to be broken in, trained, and made to produce.
Under Drazak’s control, her body begins to change. Her breasts swell. Her milk begins to flow. And when Drazak takes a special interest in her—returning night after night, drinking from her, choosing her—Mira begins to rise through the herd.
Now fertile, overflowing, and fully claimed, she realizes she hasn’t simply surrendered to her fate.
3.25 stars. This short story is female lead POV, well written, and a spicy, fantasy, minotaur (Drazak)/hucow (Mira) erotica tale. I enjoyed the lactation elements. I enjoyed Mira’s changing perspective on her situation.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Mira, 23, was hiding at her parents' house. She wanted to escape the collectors...

Having absolutely no knowledge of this type of Hucow book, I discovered this surprising, rather entertaining short novel, in a genre I would personally classify as erotica/BDSM/mythology/fantasy.
The author's writing is pleasant to read and sensitive.
I admit I often laughed 😅... I strongly advise against it for feminists! I do, however, recommend it to those who love novelties.
There was nothing to this book. The only reason I read it (a quick read that it was) was because it was free. There wasn't even much description about these hoofed individuals, which in my mind, I kept substituting for huge muscular men. Now what was described in full detail, albeit confusing, was the milking and s*xu@l scenes. This could have easily been on one of those free writing sites where mostly fan fiction is placed rather than something you pay money for. But if this is your thing, go for it. I did delete the book from my Kindle.
Don’t ask me why I read this because I don’t even know 💀 but I liked it 😭 it was honestly a really well written story and had some really great and interesting characters. I really loved Mira and Lys! Anyway, short review for a short book, but I’m dedicating this review to Max. (You know who you are lmao)
This was actually pretty good. I do wish she held out more and was more sassy but I still loved this book. I like how Mira found a place to belong and a life for herself even if it's not what she thought it would be.
This is a short, good, well written story. At 18, young women are expected to start lactating. She had not and tried to hide when they came for her when she was 20. Read how she becomes the lead Hucows.
Even with the lack of a traditional Happy Ever After, I still enjoyed the characters and story. Wish it was a little longer to expand on her life within a year .......
