The far off strange land of Tellerand is dying. Vast and horrible storms have pounded the entire world to the point where few are able to make it on their own, but only that one place has refused aid from the new colony of Harmony. Magics that can produce food from water, or even rock. Wonders that can heal them of illness and injury in moments. Even a chance to simply leave and find a better, safer location. To the people of Tellerand this is forbidden, being brought by the Devil himself. So they sit, prayers on their lips, the lives of their children fading with every sunrise. Sara Debri has been given the task of saving them. No matter what it takes, the plucky and brave spy must see that these odd people, who are very different from the ones of her own Kingdom, survive. To do that she must learn their ways, pretend to be one of them, and in the end, become something far more than anyone ever thought she could be. A savior.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!! ]]>
Enjoying the series. The books shift to a different main character that shows a different view of the story. The other characters are there, just s different focus. - A little time has past with the new ancients on the moon. Find out some happenings in the other parts of the new world.
Well it definetly caugth my interest more that its predescesor, as always this books increse the weigth of the world created by the author in this series. Is interesting to see things from another character POV and even more from one that has been there from the beguining. Altough I am surprised how much she thinks about sex, with who to have it, and the reasons for it. I though that Trice was the perv of the group. If I migth have a complaint is that Sarah had a more intimate and close interaction in this book with Simon that with the supposed man she is crazy in love with. Outside of that I loved where it ended for her and the people involved.
I am 15 books into P.S. Powers', Young Ancients Series. Strange Land is the 15th book in the series and is about the long-time character, Sara Debri. Sara has the ominous task of bringing aid to the religiously fanatic, Tellerand people who shun all magic.
The story moves at the usual pace of the author that I will forgo going into as anyone who would want to read this book already knows what I mean. I would not say this is the best book in the series, but it is well done, better edited, and leaves out the gratuitous sex (which may not be what people who have read the entire series want to hear). All in all, the story is worthy for anyone who has read the other 14 books and moves the story along what little it can be at this point. Currently $o.99 on Kindle.
