We have been FGTeeV fans for many years and this series has always been a must-buy purchase at book fairs for my youngest son over his elementary school years. We were so excited to see The BIG Shrink! was set to be released this month!
This graphic novel is so much fun! It reminded me of my childhood, giving me Honey, I Shrunk the Kids vibes. My son loved seeing all the previous villains making an appearance in this book. I also loved seeing the small nods to the FGTeeV family’s faith with the names of the storefronts in Playtime Fun Park and the passing mentions of prayer. This story was entertaining, thrilling and, as always, full of humor. I loved that it ends with a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans Duddy and family find themselves in next!

Oh the spoofing of Disney World and It’s A Small World had me laughing out loud. The illustrations are vibrant, easy to follow, and really pull you into the story.

This is a little bit the Tom Hanks movie Big, a little bit Honey I Shrunk The Kids, and a whole lot of fun. The phone asking for a tip had me 🤦🏼‍♀️😩 (swipe to see-tip culture IS totally out of control).
