Between the Lines: A love story written in the margins of two different worlds.

Rate this book
When cautious bookshop owner Diana reluctantly runs a pop-up booth at the Women's Festival on Lesvos, she's unexpectedly charmed by Max—a spirited travel blogger with a passion for ancient poetry. Diana has spent years choosing safety over spontaneity, while Max never stays anywhere long enough to get attached.

As they explore Sappho's legendary island together—sharing Greek coffee, reading love poetry in hidden coves, and discovering their strengths complement perfectly—both women question the boundaries around their hearts. Diana must decide if she's brave enough to step into her own love story, while Max faces the possibility she's found someone worth staying still for.

Set against the magical Women's Festival, Between the Lines is a tender slow-burn romance about second chances and the courage to write a new chapter when you've spent years living in the margins of other people's stories.

I'd forgotten how much I love the poetry of Sappho this book inspired me to reconnect with them.
