The opening really got me! It slowed near the end of the Trials, but the concept kept me going. I loved the ending and I know it's leading to a second book.

Omg I could not put this book down. This is about Bridget Solomon who was flagged as a little girl to be put in The Assassin Trails. There are 2 groups The Elitists and The Inductees. There are 7 trials leading up to graduation and after every trial, the last 2 to complete the trial would be killed off. I don’t want to say too much. You have to read it. There was action from the beginning all the way to the end. This is book 1 and I can’t wait for book 2.

I like the process of seeing this average girl decide that she wants to live despite having to kill people. The switch is small, but you see all the inner turmoil that she goes through to get to that conclusion.

Loved this book! It’s like a mixture of The Hunger Games and Divergent. Really good!
