About the author

Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

Such a great novella about Emery & Colt! Tropes: Contemporary, Male/Female, Single Mom, Plus Sized FMC (WOOHOO!), Sheriff, Grumpy/Sunshine, He Falls First, No 3rd Act Breakup & HEA!

There are major inconsistencies in this story and bad transitions, I had to go back to previous pages to see if I’d missed anything but nope it just wasn’t written very well.

I gave it 3 stars because I loved Colt.

Completely different from the first 2 , minimal interaction with the rest of the family. Baby should have been brought up way way sooner. How can a mother not check her child in a storm? The romance was ok and the back story was complicated.

Note to self jarring transitions in scenes that are poorly executed and inconsistencies in the story are this author’s bread and butter. Really takes you out of a scene when you are all wait hold on a minute, you re-read the previous page and your like, nope that wasn’t me missing something the author didn’t only change the position they were in but the freaking room as well. If this author has beta readers they are doing you dirty. I was enjoying the book at first then it took a hard left for me. Also, personal opinion, but using the single mom trope and then not even having the kid in the story until 76% in, LAZY!

omg 3rd one in the series and just keeps getting better

This book has everything you’d expect out Dani Wyatt’s books and more. Emery is a curvy single mom starting over. Enter Wildfire’s sheriff Colt. He’s over the top possessive and had me thinking more than once he may be psycho but I kinda like that about him. I can’t wait for Beaus book!

This is the third book in a series. They're all standalones but it's good if you have read the other books. In this story, we get Colt. He is the town sheriff and he is head over heels for Emery. There is a little backstory with them which is a pleasant surprise. A great story and I cannot wait for the last book!!

Book 3 in the series did not disappoint. Colt is a bit obsessed. Emery is a single mom who is starting over. I swear each book in the series is so good. I can't pick which one I like most. The chemistry and banter between Colt and Emery, curvy single mom, grumpy cop, age gap and add in the right amount of spice makes this a page turner. I can't wait to read the next one.

The best

So far this series has been excellent, but for me, this book has been the best. Not sure if it's the single mom who wants to be a singer thing (because that hits VERY close to home) or if it's the super hot Sheriff Daddy... But this book is fun, sexy, a little sad, and a little complicated. Very well written, and well balanced.
